Xiangmin ordered twice-cooked pork, braised fish, and beef stew with potatoes. Chi Xiaoyue frowned slightly, figuring she would ultimately have to foot the bill, Xiangmin was really good at spending money.

Cheng Qijia didn’t care much about what to eat, and from time to time, he glanced at Qin Li who was eating at a nearby table.

After placing the order, Xiangmin commented, "I’m not sure if the food here will taste good. Xiaoyue, you can cook really well."

Seeing that Cheng Qijia didn’t say anything, Xiangmin felt a bit awkward. After a pause, she asked, "Xiaocheng, are you also from Capital City?"

"How many siblings do you have?" Xiangmin persisted.

"One elder brother and two elder sisters." Cheng Qijia didn’t know why, but after he finished speaking, he glanced at Qin Li. But Qin Li had her head down, still stuffing her face with food.

After eating the last bite of her meal, Qin Li saw Cheng Qijia’s table was still eating, so she settled the bill and left. Seeing the only jeep parked by the side of the road, her eyes lit up, it was undoubtedly the three people dining in a room. Perfect, she wouldn’t have to walk.

Cheng Qijia saw Qin Li leaving and felt a slight sense of disappointment. Chi Xiaoyue was eating her food in small bites to maintain her image. Xiangmin, on the other hand, cared less about that and was eating heartily. They had a hard time finding a decent meal, so they’d better eat as much as they could.

Each lost in their own thoughts, the three finished their meals. Cheng Qijia was the first to pay, leaving Xiangmin slightly embarrassed, "We’ve gotten you to drive us so far, we shouldn’t be burdening you with other expenses."
