Be Careful What You Wish For: A Zombie Apocalypse-Chapter 268: I Have It

Mad Dog’s eyes narrowed on me as if the dumb fuck couldn’t quite figure out what was going on. "You bitch—" he started the moment his mouth was able to move fast enough to form words.

"Nope," I sighed, snapping my fingers and freezing his mouth again. "If you aren’t going to be polite, then you are going to stand there and be silent."

Pulling out a glass of sweet tea and a cup of hot tea, I handed the hot tea to Mad Dog, manipulating his muscles so that he could hold it. "I am pretty sure that your people drink tea for everything, so maybe this will make you feel more at home," I smirked at him as I took a sip from my glass.

I was very comfortable on my oversized chair, but I couldn’t help but feel like I had a tiger by the tail.

Well.

Kind of.

It wasn’t that I was scared of what Mad Dog could do to me when time managed to resume so much as what I needed to do to get my point across.

"Mon ange," purred Dante, strolling toward me, his eyes locked on where I was sitting. "Do you have any idea what is going on?"

"Ooh, dis is fun," grunted Désiré as he poked Luca in the cheek. "Dey not able to defend themselves. De fun I can have."

"You aren’t frozen?" I asked before feeling stupid. Clearly, they weren’t frozen, or else they wouldn’t be walking and talking like they were.

"We were for a few minutes," grunted Dante as he stopped just behind my chair. Gently wrapping his hand around my neck, he tipped my head back until I was looking up at him. While his grip was soft and soothing, the look in his eyes made me feel like a prime steak.

And that man was hungry.

Leaning forward, Dante gave me lots of chances to get out of his hold, but a part of me wanted nothing more than to see where this was going. Ever so softly, like I was a piece of priceless crystal, he kissed my lips.

It started off gentle, with little kisses... soft and innocent... like he was testing the waters and seeing where my head was at. I think that was the same question that I was thinking because my brain refused to brain.

The second his lips touched mine, everything going on in my head turned silent, my entire being focused on the demon over top of me.

"Mine," I grunted when he pulled back slightly. "Mine."

"Yours," he purred at me before kissing me like I was the only thing between him and eternal damnation. Even with the awkward pose, the man knew exactly how to touch me, so I was desperate for more.

Letting out a soft moan, Dante slipped his tongue into my mouth, and I saw stars.

"Fucking hell dat was hot," grunted Désiré, breaking whatever spell Dante had managed to cast on me. "An’ as much as I’d da loved ta continue watchin’, I am not de only one. And dose delicious sounds dat she be makin’ belong ta only us."

Right.

Mad Dog.

Bad brain. Less kissy, more killy.

Maybe after dealing with Mad Dog, we could go back to kissing?

I didn’t say the words out loud, but that didn’t mean that Dante did know exactly what I wanted. "I am yours," he reminded me. "My body, my mouth, my soul, my..." he paused with a knowing smirk before he kept going. "Any time you want more, you just have to ask. Or not. I’m really okay if you decide to take, too."

"So, why’s we de only ones not frozen ta de ground?" mused Désiré as this time he punched Mad Dog in the face with a laugh.

"I think it has something to do with the fact that you and I are hers," replied Dante. His voice was calm like it wasn’t that big of a deal, but his eyes promised violent retribution if Désiré continued to run his mouth.

"Meh," Désiré grunted as he poked the frozen Scavenger in the eye brutally. "I really not complainin’."

"What do you want done with this one?" sighed Dante, ignoring Désiré and releasing my neck. "Cause I’m about to call it a day."

"I don’t know," I shrugged. "I got pissed, stopped time..."

"And now?" pressed Désiré, the bright smile on his face no longer reflected in his eyes.

"Exactly!" I exclaimed, happy that someone finally understood. "Everything that is my go-to seems boring. Like I need to come up with something new for threatening to take away you and Salvatore."

"You knows we not goin’ anywhere," replied Désiré as he crouched down in front of me. Taking my hands, which were wet and cold from the glass of sweet tea, he kissed my forehead. "Do you want to keep him alive?"

"No, Mad Dog is dying," I replied with a shake of my head. "There is no question about that."

"Then, what were you thinking?" asked Dante, leaning against the back of the chair. He had no problem letting me lead, no matter how long it took me to come to some decisions.

"Fucking him with a cactus," I replied with a shrug. "But then I would see more of him than I really wanted to, which seemed like a punishment for myself. Not to mention, he probably would enjoy it. He looks like a fucking cactus with his suit."

"I was going to say Christmas tree, but yeah," smiled Désiré. "We should come up with somethin’ epic."

Closing my eyes, I tried to think of a torture that hadn’t been overdone. And then I had it.

Smiling brightly at Désiré, I leaned forward to kiss him on the forehead. "I have it." Shifting around the man in front of me, I walked over to Mad Dog, flanked by my two demons.

"Killing you is beneath me," I said softly, my head cocked to the side as I took out a lollypop. Taking the cup of tea the rude Scavenger hadn’t even taken a sip of, I put it back into my space. "But that doesn’t mean I can’t make you kill yourself. After all, there isn’t a single good reason I can think of to keep you alive."

Pressing my finger to the center of Mad Dog’s forehead, I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath.

"Crumble and die," I whispered, letting a bit of the power inside of me out. The second I finished speaking, Mad Dog collapsed and began screaming at the top of his lungs.
