Chapter 27: The Fall of the Princes

"It’s over for you!"

The cannons on Julius’s back fired all at once. A wave of blue mana projectiles came flying toward me like a storm. I dodged as much as I could with the remaining boost speed still active, but three of them hit my common armor dead-on. The impact was brutal. The metal groaned, cracks opened across the chest and shoulder, and hot pain shot through my body. I tasted blood in my mouth, but I didn’t stop.

"Now it’s my turn."

With the last of the boost pulsing through my veins, I charged forward. My common sword felt light as a feather. Greg tried to block me with his axe. I spun my body and struck the blade right in the center of his shield. The shield split in half with a loud crash, pieces of metal flying everywhere. Before he could react, I delivered a horizontal slash to the chest of his golden armor. The impact was so strong the plate bent inward and Greg flew backward, crashing hard to the ground and lying motionless.

One down.

Chris came from the right, lance extended. He shouted something about honor and Marie, but I didn’t even hear it. I sidestepped the lance tip with a quick movement and struck the mechanical arm. The metal screeched and snapped. The lance fell to the ground. I finished the motion with a powerful kick to his chest. Chris flew three meters and collapsed, too weak to get back up.

Two down.

Only Julius remained.

He was panting, white armor covered in marks and cracks, eyes wide with rage and desperation. The crown prince who always thought himself invincible now looked small.

"You... you can’t just be a mob!"

I smiled under the helm, voice coming out calm and cutting.

"I’m the mob who just fucked your girlfriend’s friend’s mind while fighting all three of you. How’s that feel, Your Highness?"

He roared in hatred and charged with everything he had. His sword blazed at maximum mana. I met the strike with my common sword. The clash sent sparks flying high. He pressed forward, trying to push me back, but I didn’t budge an inch. With the boost still active, I was stronger.

I twisted my body and delivered a full-force horizontal slash.

The sword struck dead center on the white armor.

CRACK!

The sound was as loud as thunder. The armor split in half. Julius flew backward, slammed into the ground hard, and slid several meters, leaving a trail of sparks. He tried to rise once, arm trembling, but collapsed again. Unconscious.

Silence gripped the arena for two long seconds.

Then the crowd exploded.

Women screamed my name nonstop. Some stood applauding, others cried with emotion, many stared at me with shining eyes full of desire because of the lingering Beast’s Scent. My harem — Olivia, Hailey, Sophia, and Rebecca — was at the edge of the arena, jumping and screaming my name like crazy.

"Shade! Shade! Shade!"

I walked slowly toward the fallen Julius. I stopped beside him and spoke low, but loud enough for him to hear even unconscious.

Tell Marie the mob won... and that her friend’s pussy still tastes good in my mind. And maybe she’s next.

The system blinked in my vision, red and white letters.

"Current Vital Points: 15,800"

"Nightmare Echo on cooldown: 24h"

"Level 2 in 10 days – 8,200 PV remaining"

I looked up at the night sky. Up there, invisible to everyone, the airship waited, ready to take us away. I smiled under the helm and whispered to myself.

"Great... time to take this party to the skies before the real hunt begins."

The crowd kept screaming my name nonstop. Marie stared at me from the stands with pure hatred mixed with something she couldn’t explain — vague fragments of pleasure and shame swirling in her head. My harem was already trying to climb over the railing to reach me.
