Beast Nightmare Sexx-Chapter 31: Silent Return
I descended through the open hatch and stepped onto solid ground behind a small grove, far from the eyes of any student or guard. The night air was cool and silent. The airship vanished above me, camouflaged and invisible once again. I stood alone, the weight of the common armor still on my shoulders, the simple sword in its sheath. My body still tingled with the recent pleasure I’d had with Aria, but my mind was already calm, calculating the next steps.
I took a deep breath and started walking toward the men’s dormitory. The night was dark, but the magical lanterns along the paths provided enough light to see where I was stepping. As I walked, my thoughts raced.
"Today was a fucking long day. I beat the princes in front of everyone, fed the Beast multiple times and even got to test the real power of the airship. My Vital Points are at 19,800 now. That’s enough to stay calm for a while. Even if they drop to zero, I won’t die anymore—I’ve already passed both Nightmares. But I need to keep a high number. Skills like pausing time burn a ton of points, and I don’t want to run out when I really need them."
I smiled to myself as I walked.
"Tomorrow I’ll fuck the girls again. I’ll recover everything I spent and gain even more. The Beast will stay satisfied and I’ll have points to spare for the skills I plan to use soon. About Marie... I’m going to possess and control her personally. But not today. The right moment will come. I’ll make her mine, exactly the way I want. For now, I’ll rest."
The men’s dormitory appeared ahead. I entered through the main door and climbed the stairs to the room I shared with the others. When I opened the door, Daniel and Raymond were inside, sitting on their beds, talking quietly. Both looked at me at the same time, eyes wide.
"Shade! You’re back!" Daniel stood up quickly, almost knocking over his chair.
Raymond’s mouth fell open.
"Fuck, man... we heard everything. You really beat all three princes? Alone? With a common sword?"
I closed the door behind me and slowly removed the armor, placing it in the corner of the room. My body was truly exhausted now, but I still felt the adrenaline from the day.
"Yeah, I won."
Daniel stepped closer, eyes shining with curiosity.
"How the hell did you do it? Everyone’s saying it was impossible. Their armors were way better, the cannons, the shields... and you had a simple sword and common armor. How?"
I shrugged, trying to keep my voice calm.
"Nothing special. Just got a bit of luck."
Raymond shook his head, not buying it.
"Luck? You destroyed all three in front of the entire academy. That’s not luck. Tell us the truth, Shade. How did you manage it?"
I sat on my bed, pulling off my boots. My body really hurt now.
"I said it was luck. There’s nothing more to tell. I’m really tired right now. I want to sleep. We can talk about it better tomorrow, okay?"
Daniel and Raymond exchanged a look, clearly frustrated with the vague answer, but they didn’t push any further. They knew I wouldn’t say anything if I didn’t want to.
"Alright," Daniel said finally. "But tomorrow you’re going to have to explain. Everyone wants to know." 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
I lay down on the bed, pulling the thin blanket over me. The mattress was hard, but after a day like this, it felt like paradise.
"Yeah, tomorrow I’ll talk. Now let me sleep."
They turned off the lights and lay down too. The room became dark and quiet. I closed my eyes, feeling exhaustion take over my body.
As sleep came slowly, one last thought crossed my mind.
"Tomorrow the game continues... and I’m going to play it my way."
