"Huh?" He blinked toward her, "Oh... Yes."

"She is quick on the uptake." Thristle whispered to the other.

"Nani, how did you..." Liri asked, impressed and confused.

She poked at her nose, lovingly. "Ohh dear. Why would this look the island of rare animals, if he wasn’t the child of prophecy."

Eveyone smiled nervously toward her.

Liri started giggling.

"Mom, aren’t you surprised?" Edda asked, confused.

"Well... I am." She replied, "Mostly because, The Child Of Prophecy is going to be my son-in-law."

Aiden smiled toward her, "Ma’am, why don’t you come in and sit. You must be tired."

"Ohh... You’re so sweey, son." She said, piching at his cheek.

"Thanks."

---

They were now in the living room. She was was now sitting on the sofa, along with Aiden. Liri was sitting on her lap.

"Oh... I didn’t yet introduced myself." She said, petting Liri.

"You guys talk, I going to finish the breakfast." Edda said, as she walked toward the kitchen.

"Ma’am... You were going to introduce yourself." Luna said, as she sat down beside Aiden, taking his hand in hers.

"Yes." She said, "My name is Mirielee Moonviel. But you can all call me Mom." Smilling toward them.

They all nodded in union.

"So... Ahh..." Before he could finish his words, someone entered the room.

"Mummy, Daddy..." Leona called, rubbing her eyes, entering the room.

Seeing her, Lysandra immidiately rush toward her, "Ohh... My baby." Scooping her up.

Aiden got up and walked toward them.

"Sweetheart, good morning." Lysandra purred, hugging her.

Aiden rested his hand on her hair, "My little dragon. Did you slept well."

"Yes daddy." She nodded, giggling toward him.

"Ohh... Did you..." Aiden chuckled, still petting her.

"Ohh... Who is this little dragon princess?" Mirielee said, smilling toward her.

"She is our daughter. Her name is Leona." Aiden said, proud.

"Daddy... Who is she?" Leona asked, confused.

"She is my Nani." Liri said excitedly.

"Nani?"

"Yes. I am Edda’s mother. Please call me Nani. Like Liri." She said, smilling toward her.

Leona stared her suspiciously, "I’ll think about it." Looking adorable.

"Ahh... She is so cute." Zerra purred.

"That she is." Lysandra said proudly, kissing on her forehead.

Mirielee then looked toward Luna and Lysandra, as she noticed somwthing, "Luna, Lysandra. Are you two pregnant."

Luna immidiately touched her belly and Aiden at the same time, cupped Lysandra’s.

"H-how do you know?" Luna asked, surprised.

"She know what she is doing." Thristle said mischeiously, toward the other.

"Oh dear. I am a mother too." She replied, as she added, "And it’s not like, She is my only child."

"Wait... Edda has siblings?" Aiden asked, surprised.

"Ohh... Edda didn’t told you that?" She asked.

"I mean he just met her yesterday..." Serica whispered to the other, making sure, she didn’t heard her.

"No. She haven’t told me much about herself yet."

"Well... She has an younger sister." She replied.

"Ohh... Really." Aiden said.

"Yes." She replied.

"So... Why didn’t she came with you?" Nyxion asked.

"Because she lives in the dorm room of Albinos School of Wizard and Witchcraft." She replied.

"School?" Aiden repeated.

"Hey Liri, Aunt. I want to play." Leona asked, telling Liri and Ivy.

Both nodded in unison. Liri got of her Nani’s lap and Ivy walked toward Leona.

"Mummy. Put me down." She told her Mummy.

"Dear, first clean up. Then you can play." Lysnadra instructed, putting her down.

Leona pouted toward her, "Okay."

The three of them left the room, together.

Walked walked back toward the sofa and sat down beside Luna, and Lysandra took a sit beside Aiden.

"School," He repeated, turning back to Miriellee. "An actual academy? For magic?"

Miriellee crossed her legs neatly, folding her hands over her lap. "The finest one in this region of the world," She said proudly.

"The Albinos School of Wizard and Witchcraft. It trains young spellcasters, spirit binders, enchantresses, battle mages, alchemists—any child who awakens a mana core strong enough to be noticed."

Luna’s ears twitched sharply. She leaned closer to Aiden, one hand still clinging to his arm.

"Master... you never told me there were places like that."

"I didn’t know either," Aiden admitted.

"A prestigious academy usually means influence," Arisha murmured. "Who governs it?"

"A council of ancient bloodlines," Miriellee answered. "Mostly the Albinos families. They’ve preserved pure mana-conductive genetics for generations. The Queen herself is one of the school’s highest patrons."

At that, several expressions shifted.

Arisha stiffened slightly where she stood near the window, her hands folded nervously behind her back.

"The Albinos Queen..." She whispered. "That is no small name."

Vegia adjusted the rim of her hat, eyes narrowing with professional interest.

"So students there are under royal-level protection?"

"Exactly," Miriellee nodded. "Which is why I was comfortable letting Edda’s little sister go there. No one dares cause trouble inside those walls."

Aiden leaned back against the arm of the sofa, thoughtful. "How old is she?"

"Sixteen," Miriellee replied. "Talented. Stubborn. Very much like Edda was at that age."

"Sounds dangerous," Zerra said lightly.

Lysandra, seated close to Aiden’s other side, gently rested a hand over her stomach.

"So... It certainly has politics."

"Almost certainly," Serica replied before Aiden could answer. "Any institution with that much protection becomes a battlefield of influence."

Vaara snorted softly. "Meaning nobles fight with coins and contracts instead of swords."

"Sometimes claws are still involved," Selvara added dryly.

Miriellee chuckled at their exchange. "You’re all sharp. Yes, it is political. But it is also one of the safest places for gifted children. That is what mattered to me."

Serica suddenly realised something and shouted, "Wait! I knew I heard your name before. You’re a council member"

Everyone looked toward her, surprise evident on their face.

Thristle crossed her arms under her chest and tilted her head toward Aiden with a possessive smirk.

"My King... if your future mother-in-law is the council member, then you can get in their without any restriction."

"Mom... Really? This is the most surprised I have ever been in my life." Aiden said, excitedly.

"Ohh... It’s not that of a big deal. I just have paperworks all day. It’s no fun at all." She said, as she added, "But... Seeing all the students, seeing them giving their all. Motivates me. And gives me the strength to keep going."

"I bet you work very hard." Aiden said, his voice soft now.

"Ohh well..." She took a pause before continuing, "I still take pride in my job. I get to see the next generation who’l lead this country."

Silence fell in the room. But it Immediately broke, when they heard Edda’s voice.

"Everyone. Come to the dining room. Breakfast ready."

Luna forgot all about the tension and immidiately got up and rushed toward the dinning room, "Coming."

"She does seem to love her cooking." Serica said.

"That she do." Aiden added.

"But I mean... can you blame her. Edda’s cooking is too good." Zerra added, as she rushed toward the dinning room herself.

Seeing her, other follwed her, "Wait for us."

Now only Aiden and Miriellee were the only one left in the room.

A long silence.

Then She broke it, "Son... Would you like to get admission?"

"Huh?"

"I mean the school. Given you title, their will be no problems." She explained.

"Thats sounds lovely. I will be glad to join in." Aiden said without hesitation.

"Oh... Great."

"But I’ll not be joining alone." Aiden said.

"Oh... You mean..."

"Yes... Exactly them." He said leaning toward her.

She then asked him, "Son... Please take care of Edda of Liri. They have been through a lot. I don’t want them to lose that smile they have now."

"Mom," He said, voice serious. "I promise to kepp them safe at all cost. I swear on my life."

"I hope so." She said softly with a smile.

Both got up.

Then she hugged him, "Son... Thank you. Because of you, I am seeing that same smile on their face, before they lost everything."

Aiden smiled, rubbing his hand on her back, comforting her.

---

The dining room buzzed with warmth and voices the moment Aiden and Miriellee stepped in. Plates were already being passed around—Edda’s cooking filling the whole room with a rich, comforting aroma that made even the most disciplined warriors wiggle in their seats.

Luna sat glued to Aiden’s left, tail wagging faintly as she spooned food into her mouth far too quickly. "Master! Try the stew! It’s amazing!" She declared proudly, as if she had cooked it herself.

Lysandra rolled her eyes fondly. "Luna, let him breathe."

Nyxion rested her chin on her hand, tail curling behind her chair. "Let him breathe after he eats. Priorities."

Arisha shyly slid a plate toward Aiden. "Sir... I saved some of the crispy root slices for you."

"Cute." He muttered.

Arisha blushed, "Oh... It’s nothing."

Zerra leaned back with a grin. "I swear, every meal turns into a competition around him."

Vaara clicked her tongue. "Competition? Zerra, you ate half the table already."

"I fight with my stomach," Zerra replied proudly.

Serica snorted. "And lose every time.f

Liri and Ivy took their seats beside Leona, chatting happily until Liri perked up, eyes shining.

"Nani," She called softly, "how long will you stay?"

Miriellee paused, smiling gently. "Just until tomorrow morning, dear.x

Liri’s face fell instantly. "Tomorrow? But... but I don’t want you to go." Her little ears drooped.

Miriellee reached over, brushing Liri’s cheek. "I know, sweetheart. But I have work. Important work."

"But... Nani..." Liri murmured, voice trembling.

Edda leaned forward, tone gentle but firm. "Liri. Don’t make that face. Nani will visit again. And you can write to her anytime."

"But—"

"Sweetheart," Edda added softly, "we talked about this."

Liri swallowed, nodding reluctantly.

Miriellee pulled her into a warm side-hug. "I’ll come back soon. I promise."

Leona patted Liri’s head like a tiny elder. "Nani has to do grown-up stuff. It’s okay. We’ll play."

The table broke into light laughter—voices overlapping, warmth spreading, Aiden smiling quietly as he looked around at the family he was building.
