Beast Taming: Reincarnated With The Ultimate Bond System!-Chapter 205 - : : Nayla!
The passage stretched on.
Columns slid past in slow rhythm, light rippling along their carved surfaces like heat haze over marble. Every step echoed softly, as if the place itself was listening.
Aiden walked at the center of the group, Fluffynugget perched on his shoulder, wings fluttering lazily.
He glanced left.
Then right.
His brow furrowed.
"...Nayla?" He called.
His voice carried farther than he expected, echoing down the corridor.
No answer.
He stopped walking.
"Nayla," He tried again, louder. "Hey. You’re not funny. Where’d you go?"
The group slowed to a halt behind him.
Luna tilted her head. "Master... who?"
Aiden blinked, then looked back at them. "Huh?"
Venya leaned forward, hands clasped behind her back. "Who, My Lord?"
Nyxion raised a brow. "You just called someone’s name."
Thristle crossed her arms. "And it definitely wasn’t one of us."
Vegia frowned slightly. "Who is Nayla?"
Aiden opened his mouth.
Paused.
"...Ah."
Luna’s ears twitched.
That single sound was never good.
"Master," She said slowly, smiling in a way that was not friendly.
Aethoniel peeked out from behind Luna, wings twitching nervously. "I-Is... is someone missing?"
Aiden frowned harder. "The girl. From the bazaar."
Silence.
Several pairs of eyes locked onto him at once.
"The... what?" Serica asked slowly.
Vaara added, squinting. "I didn’t see anyone."
Aiden scratched the back of his head. "What? She was with me the whole time."
That did it.
Luna’s ears flattened instantly.
Nyxion’s smile froze.
Thristle stopped walking altogether.
Selvara’s steps slowed—just a fraction.
"...Explain," Luna said, very calmly.
Aiden sensed danger far too late.
"There was a woman," He said, gesturing vaguely with one hand. "In the bazaar. She showed up after the system stuff started. Walked with me. Talked. You know."
"You know?" Nyxion echoed.
"Nayla stayed with My Lord?" Venya asked brightly, then blinked. "Wait. Stayed with My Lord?"
"Yes," Aiden said. "I mean—kind of. She didn’t attack me or anything."
Luna’s tail lashed once.
"What," She asked sweetly, "did she look like?"
Aiden hesitated.
Just a little.
Nyxion noticed immediately. "Oh. That pause was bad."
Aiden cleared his throat. "She had blue skin and her curves were impossible."
Dead silence.
"And," He continued, because stopping now felt worse, "red eyes."
Selvara stopped walking completely.
"And she wore... uh..."
Luna’s hands clenched slowly at her sides.
"Finish the sentence, Master," Luna said, voice dangerously soft.
"...Dancer clothes," Aiden finished weakly. "Gold. Jewels. Very... decorative."
The corridor felt ten degrees colder.
Nyxion pinched the bridge of her nose.
Thristle laughed once. Loud. Sharp. "Oh, you’re dead."
Venya tilted her head, still smiling, but her eyes were wide. "My Lord... Venya is confused. Why was another woman walking with My Lord?"
Aethoniel shrank in on herself. "D-Did... did I do something wrong?"
"No," Aiden said quickly. "No, no, no. It wasn’t like that."
Luna stepped closer.
Very slowly.
"She was with you," Luna said. "Alone."
"In a place that tempts people," Nyxion added flatly.
"And she had impossible curves," Serica muttered.
Aiden raised both hands. "I didn’t do anything! She just... talked."
Selvara turned around.
Aiden barely registered the movement before—
BAM.
Her fist connected with his face.
The impact was brutal.
Aiden didn’t just stumble—he flew.
His body smashed backward into the stone wall, carving a perfect, Aiden-shaped crater as dust and fragments exploded outward.
The corridor shook.
Fluffynugget was launched into the air. "MII—!"
He fluttered frantically before landing on Venya’s boobs.
"Mii...?"
"MASTER!" Luna screamed.
She sprinted toward the wall, dropping to her knees beside the crater. "Master! Don’t die! Don’t die!"
Aiden groaned weakly from inside the stone. "...Ow."
Luna grabbed his collar and shook him. "Say something!"
"I’m... alive," he muttered. "Pretty sure."
Nyxion walked up, peering into the crater. "Wow. She really committed."
Serica winced. "That’s a clean hit."
Vaara clasped her hands together nervously. "S-Should we... pull him out?"
Selvara didn’t even look back.
She clicked her tongue and continued walking. "Tch."
Aiden coughed and pushed himself free of the stone, dust coating his hair and shoulders. "Selva," He called weakly. "What was that for?"
She didn’t stop.
"You described her," Selvara said coldly. "Too easily."
Aiden blinked. "...That’s it?"
"Yes."
Luna hugged his arm tightly. "Master, you can’t just casually remember another woman’s body like that!"
"I wasn’t remembering!" He protested. "I was answering a question!"
Nyxion crossed her arms. "You answered enthusiastically."
"I did not!"
"You hesitated before saying dancer clothes," Thristle said smugly. "That means you were picturing it."
Aiden opened his mouth.
Closed it.
"...That’s not fair."
Venya giggled nervously. "My Lord, Venya thinks My Lord should stop talking."
Aethoniel nodded rapidly. "Y-Yes. Please stop."
Aiden sighed and rubbed his bruised jaw. "For the record, I didn’t even know who she was. She just... vanished when we reunited."
Luna narrowed her eyes. "Vanished?"
"Yeah," He said. "She wasn’t there when I saw you all."
Nyxion hummed thoughtfully. "That’s suspicious."
Vegia frowned. "A floor entity, perhaps."
Serica tilted her head. "Or a reward."
Aiden blinked. "A what?"
Selvara stopped again.
She turned her head just enough to speak. "If she was the floor’s reward," She said, "and you looked at her like that..."
She cracked her knuckles.
"...you’re lucky I only punched you once."
Aiden swallowed. "Duly noted."
Luna stood and dusted herself off, still holding onto his sleeve. "Master," She said firmly, "no more mysterious women."
"I didn’t invite her!"
"No more," Luna repeated.
Nyxion smirked. "Unless she’s approved."
"Yes!"
They resumed walking, the tension slowly easing into awkward laughter and murmured teasing.
Fluffynugget fluttered back to Aiden’s shoulder. "Mii~"
Aiden glanced at the corridor ahead, then once more behind them.
For just a second, he thought he saw a shimmer of blue light fade at the edge of his vision.
"...Nayla," He murmured under his breath.
Luna’s ears twitched.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing!" Aiden said quickly.
Selvara’s fist tightened.
Aiden decided—very wisely—to shut up and keep walking.
The passage widened.
Columns rose on both sides, tall and smooth, their surfaces veined with faint gold that pulsed like a slow heartbeat. The aisle stretched forward in a straight line, polished stone reflecting the glow above like still water. Every footstep echoed—soft, reverent.
Aiden slowed unconsciously.
"...This feels important," He muttered.
Luna stayed pressed close to his side, fingers still gripping his sleeve as if the floor might steal him again if she let go.
Nyxion walked on his other side, eyes sharp, already scanning the space for threats—or rivals.
Thristle craned her neck, whistling low. "Wow. This place is screaming ’final reveal.’"
Vegia adjusted her grip on her staff. "This architecture..."
Selvara said nothing—but she moved closer behind Aiden.
They reached the end of the aisle.
And stopped.
At the far end of the hall, raised upon a shallow dais, stood a throne carved from crystal and gold—elegant, ancient, unmistakably not part of the dungeon’s usual design.
And seated upon it—
A woman.
Aiden’s breath caught.
"...Nayla."
She leaned back against the throne with relaxed confidence, one leg crossed over the other, chin resting lightly against her knuckles.
Her blue skin shimmered softly beneath the ambient light, gemstones at her collar and waist catching every glow. Her presence filled the room—not oppressive, but undeniable.
She smiled.
Slow. Knowing.
"Well," Nayla said smoothly, "you found me."
The wives reacted instantly.
Nyxion stiffened. "So that’s her."
Luna’s ears flattened. "That’s... the woman."
Venya blinked, then tilted her head. "Ohhh. Venya understands the punching urge now."
Aethoniel froze.
Her eyes drifted—unbidden—to Nayla’s figure.
Tall. Full-bodied. Broad hips that gave her stance a grounded, commanding silhouette. Her chest was... generous, unmistakably so, emphasized by the regal cut of her attire rather than any attempt to flaunt it.
Thristle stared openly.
"...Those are bigger than Xylendra’s," She said flatly.
Then, after a second glance, "...and Valeforia’s."
She squinted. "...And Aethoniel’s."
Aethoniel squeaked.
"I-I—!" She immediately looked down at herself, wings twitching in panic.
Selvara snorted. "This is not a competition."
Vaara crossed her arms and looked away. "Good. Because no one asked for one."
Luna glanced down at herself, then back up at Nayla, then at Aiden.
Her grip tightened.
Selvara growled.
Low. Quiet. Dangerous.
Before anyone could react, she stepped in close behind Aiden and wrapped an arm around his torso—tight.
Very tight.
Aiden wheezed. "Selvara—?"
She hugged him harder.
Thristle blinked. "...Is she trying to crack him in half?"
Nyxion smirked. "Possibly."
Aiden tapped Selvara’s arm weakly. "I—okay—sorry—Selva—gentle—"
She released him just enough to let him breathe, then clicked her tongue and looked away. "Tch."
Aiden rubbed his ribs. "I felt lots of love."
That earned a sharp blush from her.
He turned back toward the throne.
"Nayla," He said carefully, "what are you doing here?"
"I was waiting," She replied, lips curving. "That’s what rewards do."
The air shifted.
The system chimed.

[ FLOOR III — COMPLETION CONFIRMED]
[REWARD UNLOCKED]
[ENTITY CLASSIFICATION: JIN]
[NAME: NAYLA]
---
Silence.
Absolute.
Then—
"A what?" Thristle said loudly.
Vegia inhaled sharply. "A Jin...?"
Nyxion’s eyes narrowed. "You’re kidding."
Venya gasped. "A what?"
Aethoniel took a half-step back. "A-A Jin...?"
Luna stared at Nayla, then slowly looked up at Aiden. "...Master, what’s a jin?"
Aiden swallowed.
A Jin.
His mind flickered—stories from his world, whispered myths, tricksters, wish-grantors, beings bound by rules far older than kings.
"...Right," He muttered. "Of course."
Nayla watched his reaction with keen interest. "You’re not surprised."
"I am," Aiden said honestly. "Just... tired."
That made her laugh.
A smooth, melodic sound that echoed through the hall.
"I like you," Nayla said openly. "You walked the market without buying. You carried burdens meant to break you. You refused every easy path."
"And," She added, eyes gleaming, "I find you very attractive."
Every wife reacted at once.
Luna bristled.
Nyxion stepped forward.
Selvara’s fingers twitched.
Thristle cracked her knuckles.
Aiden raised both hands. "Okay. Let’s slow down."
Nayla smiled wider.
"As is tradition," She said, voice carrying power now, "ask your wish, Aiden Nightshade."
The hall hummed.
The columns glowed brighter.
The floor itself seemed to listen.
Aiden exhaled.
"...I have a feeling," He said slowly, "that whatever I ask... changes a lot."
Nayla’s eyes softened.
"That’s why it’s called a wish."
