Her upper body was human, but her lower half was that of a snake, her long tail trailing behind her.
But this was Si Shuo’s first time transforming into a Snake Beastman. At first, she thought it was fun, smiling and imitating Ji Liang by half-hissing and flicking her tongue out. But she didn’t know how to hold herself upright with a snake’s body and promptly toppled dazedly toward the floor.
Xu Chi helplessly scooped her into his arms, his expression soft and smiling. "See? And you complained I was being long-winded. The moment I take my eyes off you, you fall over."
’How is that the same thing? I—I’m just not used to this yet. Once I’ve tried every Transformation and mastered the basics of each Beast Form’s abilities, I’ll definitely wow all my Beast Husbands!’

Si Shuo glanced to the side. Their tails had twisted together like a rope, the black and white coils creating a uniquely stimulating sight. She couldn’t help but swallow before hissing out an explanation.
And so, to learn how to slither and hold herself upright like a snake, Si Shuo had to pay a "tuition fee" that was quite physically... draining.
Once he was sated, Ji Liang held her tightly in his arms, nuzzling her cheek. "Little Shushu, what other surprises could you possibly have in store for us?"
’No wonder the young female likes Xiao Cheng’s transformation,’ he thought. ’I’m completely addicted to hers now!’

Si Shuo’s expression darkened. ’Great.’ This cub had inherited her memories, which apparently included the folktale of the Beauty Snake—a creature with a human head and a snake’s body that liked to hide behind walls, mimic an acquaintance’s voice to call out a person’s name, and then, if they answered, come to eat their flesh in the night.
