Beastmaster King-Chapter 390 - Welcome to No Man’s Land
Based on the available intel from the Alliance, there were four ancient Overlords over level 70 and a few dozen powerful creatures over level 60 inhabiting the Amazon. Such a lineup was enough to overpower most countries around the world. The level 70 Black Dragon King by itself was a major headache for Xia. Although these creatures might not be as strong as the Black Dragon King, they made up for it in numbers.
"What the hell? You want to use the Dominion trait to establish a nation in the Amazon rainforest?” Manager Ying was astounded.
"Is there a problem? Yes, it's a little dangerous out there, but once we activate the Beast Path, we can turn all of our enemies into puppets."
"That's not the problem!" Manager Ying shouted back. "Are you going to build a beastmaster empire or straight up a beast empire? Is the location you chose a place where normal people would want to live? Do you plan on being the only human in your future empire?"
"Well, of course not, but if I’m going to carve out a territory for myself by force, then this would make for a great hunting ground."
Manager Ying was speechless.
The Amazon rainforest was indeed dangerous, but not so much for Lu Ran. Once Six-Path Flower evolved, Lu Ran could easily be considered the strongest beastmaster on the planet.
The soon-to-be Legendary-ranked Six-Paths Flower might be level 50 on the surface, but it would have the experience of a level 99. Corralling a group of level 70s would be a piece of cake.
"I want to remind you about one more thing. The info only covers the Overlords we know about. There could be stronger ones hidden in the shadows."
"That’s not a big problem. We will call in the Divine Deer to help Six-Path Flower complete its evolution. The ruckus will definitely attract countless powerful creatures. Once they’re gathered, we’ll borrow the Divine Deer’s might to establish our prestige. With it as our backer, even if a stronger creature does show up, it wouldn’t dare to mess with us."
"..."
Since Lu Ran even wrapped the Divine Deer up in his plot, there wasn’t much left for Manager Ying to say. It could only admit its own inferiority before Lu Ran’s scheming.
After he was done combing through the intel from Manager Ying, Lu Ran took out the Broken Horn of the Divine Deer to call for the Divine Deer through their spiritual connection.
Master Divine Deer, we have decided on a trait, and we plan on undergoing evolution in the Amazon rainforest. It’s a huge forest, so it’s perfect for you to perform a blessing by drawing on the power of plant life.
Back in Xia, the Divine Deer was overlooking the thriving Lu Village from atop a mountain. When it saw the statue of itself, it could feel a strong influx of faith energy. It forced itself to turn away to respond to Lu Ran.
Okay.
The divine deer didn't expect Lu Ran to find a trait so quickly, but it was better to help Six-Path Flower to evolve as soon as possible to prevent any unforeseen mishaps.

Lu Ran didn't tell anyone that he was back. After getting the trait from Lu Bing, he headed straight for the Amazon. When he was in Limitless City to meet Lu Bing, he took a minute to check the Heavenly Familiar Ranking.
He was still listed as Pedestrian A. Although he had changed his ID to Beastmaster King, the rankings didn’t update since he hadn’t set a new record yet. Lu Ran didn’t need to challenge any secret realms at the moment, so the rankings were going to stay as they were for a while.
The only people who knew about his name change were those on his friends list, so he made a point to trim it down before changing his name. No one on his friends list was an ordinary person, and they knew better than to publicize his name change. Albeit, it was inevitable that some would question why he made the change. In fact, Dr. Gu, Fang Lan, and a few others had messaged him to ask him about why he picked such an obnoxious name. Was he looking to get beaten up?
Lu Ran ignored those messages with a smile and planned on telling them more about it once they met again. His top priority right now was Six-Path Flower’s evolution. Baby Cloud didn’t get a chance to properly rest yet, and Captain Doofus had only been outside for a short while before they all got dragged along by Lu Ran again.
“Plip! Plip!"
Baby Cloud let out an angry cry, shooting off bolts of lightning as it flew.
"Be good, Baby Cloud," Manager Ying comforted. "Wait until Lu Ran activates that research robot. You’ll be able to retire if you can convince it to build a rocketship."
Baby Cloud looked back at Manager Ying with a blank expression.
Really?
Lu Ran didn’t say anything, but in his head, he was silently complaining about Manager Ying teaching Baby Cloud bad things. Perpetuating oppression was morally reprehensible.
"Hehe. I bet no one in the world would believe that your fifth familiar would undergo its first evolution in the Amazon under the blessing of a Legendary creature instead of an evolution realm. This is actually a great way to conceal your information, and the public won’t find out when your familiar reaches the Legendary rank," Manager Ying commented.
"That’s right. Also, there isn’t a Heavenly Familiar Ranking to snitch on me. Although if there were a Legendary ranking, I wouldn’t be against getting on it for the right rewards."
Manager Ying rolled his eyes. Let alone Blue Planet, even if they added in the Stellar Moon Continent, how many people had Legendary familiars altogether? Did he want a ranking just for himself? If so, then it should be the “Sugar Baby Ranking.”
"We're here!"
Baby Cloud was incredibly fast, so the group arrived at their destination after a relatively brief journey.
"Welcome to no man’s land, Lu Ran," Manager Ying joked.
"After today, however, it’s about to become a no beast land. A disaster is about to befall them all!"

With Manager Ying in the lead, the group ventured deeper into the incredibly vast rainforest. They were engulfed by the natural environment the moment they stepped in. They walked until they arrived in the heart of the rainforest where the Nature-attribute energy was the richest. They managed to avoid any powerful beasts along the way thanks to their expert guide.
"The environment here is really good," Six-Path Flower said when it finally exited the contract card. "Even back in the Beastmaster Empire, there were only a few places like this."
"It’s all thanks to the spiritual revival. Where is Lord Divine Deer? Is it not here yet?” Lu Ran asked as he looked around. A moment later, he was startled to find the Divine Deer standing right behind him and staring at him indifferently.
“Oh, Lord Divine Deer, I see that you’ve arrived," Lu Ran said with an awkward chuckle.
"Let's start," the Divine Deer instructed, ignoring Lu Ran completely.
Lu Ran was never taught proper etiquette so it didn’t have the same expectations for him as it did for Bai Lu. The only important thing was his performance.
"Okay." Lu Ran looked at Six-Path Flower, who was standing at the center of the rainforest.
"We will fuse the Dominion trait first and then Limit Breaker. Doing them in this order should make the evolution go more smoothly.”
"Alright, let’s do it." Six-Paths Flower couldn’t wait any longer and would give Lu Ran puppy eyes if it could. "Hurry, hurry, hurry!"
Lu Ran also smiled and tossed over the traits one after the other. His other familiars looked on from behind a tree, each with their own thoughts.
It can't really evolve into a Legendary at level 50, right?
Overpowered! This is one overpowered flower!
"Do you two think you can reach Legendary during your second evolution?" Dark Crow asked Captain Doofus and Sudden Death King.
“Awoo!”
Of course.
Captain Doofus answered confidently. It had long been displeased by the arrival of Six-Path Flower to the point that it could no longer stand it. It aspired to become Sword God Doofus one day and use the swordgrass to cut down Six-Path Flower.
“Roar...”
I will definitely become a Legendary!
Sudden Death King patted its chest. It wasn’t satisfied with being an Intermediate Overlord. It wanted to achieve even higher defensive abilities. Every time it went through Six-Path Flower’s training, it would be abused to the point of depression. It wanted defenses so powerful that even a Wood Asura couldn’t scratch it!
"Tsk, I wish both of you good luck."
Dark Crow didn’t share their sentiments since the Abyss God had already said that it would help it evolve. Dark Crow even dreamed of usurping the Evil God’s title one day. The Divine Deer had previously told them that the Evil God was the most powerful being beneath the Primary Divine rank.
If that happened, Dark Crow would be on par with Six-Path Flower. As long as it successfully integrated its power, it would only be a matter of time before it caught up. Although the flower was good to it, Dark Crow simply couldn’t tolerate anyone being better than it.
In short, everyone was plotting against Six-Path Flower at the moment.
"Why do I have this weird feeling?"
Six-Path Flower could detect good and evil thoughts, so it felt the wave of emotions directed at it when it fused with the trait. It was occupied at the moment, however, so it didn’t dwell on the matter and focused on properly fusing with the trait.
A moment later, the aura of Six-Path Flower burst forth, and its body began to glow as ripples radiated across the ground from where it stood. Feeling that the first trait was successfully fused, Six-Paths Flower could help but admit, “Limitless City is truly worthy of its reputation.”
[Species Talent: Ruler’s Domain]
[Description: If the user is in their territory, the range of all domain-type skills is greatly increased.]
The Dominion trait wasn’t able to push Six-Paths Flower’s rank past quasi-Legendary, but it was inherently powerful enough that the surrounding area was rapidly annexed as its territory. The aggressive land grab almost immediately alerted the nearby beasts, but these were still just the small fries. Six-Paths Flower went on and took the next step, which would have an impact on the world itself.
Six-Path Flower absorbed the Limit Breaker trait, and once it had three traits, according to the rules of Limitless City, it triggered an evolution. Waves of terrifying evolutionary energy began rushing towards it.
