Beastmaster of the Ages-Chapter 3478 - Two Swords Into One
Chapter 3478 - Two Swords Into One
Tianming's gaze blazed. Even if he faced the likes of Suishen Ranxing and Yumo Diyan, he wouldn't have to fear death even if he couldn't defeat them. That was a critical step!
"Even though my future growth is the main pain point, I already have the Blissful Union and the Infinitum Mundus as my home base. I can freely leave Myriadpath Valley if I want! Not to mention, the monochrome giant ancestor should be able to help me improve even more."
At the thought of that, he daringly flew toward the astral giant. "Esteemed ancestor, apologies in advance."
The moment he touched the giant's body, his caelum entered it. It was indeed a corpse and the planet-class order was stored within it. He could see the many hexagonal continents and cities on the planet, as well as the countless bee-headed people busily working away. He could still cultivate using the order.
"With this planet-class order, I don't need the other caeli within the Blissful Union and can just bring them all back to the Infinitum Mundus!" The other caeli were already far superior to those of the Grand Myriadpath Ruins and the ancestral halls of the Three Exalted Houses. Their history stretched even further back.
"In essence, I don't just have a present, I also have a future. Even without Myriadpath Valley, my growth won't be hampered." At this point, there were only two real reasons he would stay at Myriadpath Valley. The first was using the Myriadpath Celestial Formation to go to the Xenoabyss, and the second was the people there that he wanted to protect... as well as those he had to kill, like Suishen Hongtian.
"If nobody knows that I'm the Mistrunner, they won’t know that I have all the legacies of the Yin-Yang World, either. Hehehe...." A cold glint flashed through his eyes.
Next, he explored the Four Dao Paths of the ship. The caeli and resources there were at least equal to those of Myriadpath Valley. As for battle techniques, they were at least fortuna class—and some maniverse-class ones, though the latter numbered fewer compared to Myriadpath Valley; there were only three, but they were likely stronger than the Greatsun and Pentagram Suishen Arts!
As for ordered manna, some of them were spoiled, possibly due to how long they had been left untouched. There were still a large number of usable ones, but only tens of them had more than nine hundred apertures. There wasn't a single one with more than a thousand.
There were also hundreds of millions of infinitum-class artifacts, as well as millions of fortuna-class artifacts. The most powerful maniverse-class ones numbered more than five hundred, most of them low maniverse class. Those on the level of the Yumo Blood Crucible and Grandsource Imperial Seal numbered a little more than ten.
There wasn't even a single high-maniverse-class artifact, though Tianming didn't really mind as he was used to using the Grand-Orient Sword. He couldn't get used to using other things like the Yumo Grand Crucible, even though he had more than enough cosmoforce to use artifacts like them to their full potential.
"With a major-zenith foundationeer like Auntie protecting me, even if I show off a maniverse-class artifact, people wouldn't dare to do anything to me." Tianming had never really dared to let the Grand-Orient Sword absorb the Infinitum Stele because he was worried it would draw unwanted attention while he was still weak.
A mere minor pathkeeper ranked at the top of the Fortuna Ranking wasn't enough status to protect what he had, since his future potential was still uncertain. However, the legacy of the Yin-Yang World made that irrelevant. Nobody would ever imagine that a fortuna disciple could be able to cause so much commotion in the Yin-Yang World, and even have the elites of the Three Exalted Houses in the palms of his hands.
Tianming decided to finally get on with it and fuse the Grand-Orient Sword with the Infinitum Stele. The Infinitum Stele was normally used in its black-and-gold sword projection form, which was nothing but pure energy. Its true vessel should be the Grand-Orient Sword; only then would the two of them be complete.
Tianming held them both in hand within a large hall in Blissful Union. "Go in!"
The black-and-gold sword projection finally returned home, slowly seeping into the Grand-Orient Sword. The sword had nine divine ordered patterns that formed nine formations. The Infinitum Stele split up into nine pieces and turned into brilliantly bright sword flashes that entered all nine of the cosmic impulses within the sword, perfectly fusing with them.
The Grand-Orient Sword glowed like a newly awakened dragon. The butterfly-shaped artifact soul entered the sword and turned into patterns inscribed on the mysterious colorless gate. It didn't seem to be a true artifact soul, but a mere symbol on the colorless gate.
Tianming entered the sword with his caelum and saw that the nine cosmic impulses had grown ten times their former size after the fusion, further increasing their destructive capabilities. The colorless gate also seemed slightly more ajar than before! When he stretched his left hand inside, he saw a terrifying star splashing with droplets black and gold and burning bright with his Sky Plundering Eye. Though he already knew that it had grown, seeing it with his own eye was a different story.

"The power gap between the top and bottom of the universe is just as wide as that of a droplet and a planet... nay, much larger. How much higher would a lifeform have to be to control a planet like this compared to a mortal?" The hierarchy that he knew of went from mortals to ascendants, then astral gods and astral giants.
"Perhaps the black-and-gold world was controlled by astral giants at one point?" Was the end point of cultivation becoming an astral giant? Tianming didn't even dare to imagine anything that came next.
"As much as I can look up at the stars, I must stand firm on the ground, and my 'ground' right now is Myriadpath Valley, the Yin-Yang World, and the Infinitum Mundus. Those are what I count on to survive!" That kind of world was one that his parents didn't have to worry about. However, there were still places like the Upper Star Ruins, Ancient Oldgod Domain, and the unknown Realm of Chaos. How much more dangerous would his path of cultivation grow?
He gradually calmed down. The Grand-Orient Sword was finished with its transformation. Tianming's caelum left the sword and he found it much heavier in his hand, with many more black-and-gold patterns than before. It was at least ten times heavier. Its sword flash had blended with the cosmic impulses, giving it the ability to unleash many times more power than before, more than the sum of its individual parts! He looked just as imposing when he split the sword in two.
"I think it's even more powerful than the low-maniverse-class Kunlun Watcher, Yumo Blood Crucible, and even the Grandsource Imperial Seal. Doesn't that mean it’s a high-maniverse-class artifact?" He recalled that there was only one such artifact in all of Myriadpath Valley.
