Became a Demon with Pregnancy System-Chapter 47: Kids
In the next month, Luke was extremely busy.
The essence of the Volcanic Poison Wolf was absorbed by Luke, and his soul power rose from the peak of a Minor Commander to the peak of a Medium Commander.
Marissa finally braved the heavy rain under the thunder one day and became pregnant with Luke’s child.
During this period, Tanya successfully gave birth to two children—one male and one female. Their race: Lunar Howling Wolves.
The most astonishing thing was that the two little ones had a unique merge technique: Fusion! When fused, they transformed into the Twin Wolves of the Sun and Moon. This fusion granted them strength that crossed an entire realm, promoting them from the General Level to the Commander Level. However, the effect lasted only for half an hour.
This ability left Luke in awe. If they could replicate this feat at the Monarch Level, it wasn’t inconceivable for them to exhibit strength rivaling a Supreme Monarch Level creature. Such a skill promised to be a powerful aid to Luke in the future.
The three little wolf cubs spent most of their time in their demon forms, frolicking by the lake with their mothers. Luke watched this serene scene, a contented smile playing on his lips.
"Tanya, Chloe, Marissa, the three of you, come here. I need to discuss something," Luke called out.
"What is it, Luke?" Marissa asked curiously. It was rare to see him in such a serious mood.
"It’s time for us to leave," Luke announced.
Even without the looming presence of the Female Wolf King, Luke had planned to journey to the human world after Tanya and Chloe gave birth. After all, the human realm held many exceptional opportunities—and individuals.
Tanya, Chloe, and Marissa exchanged reluctant glances. Leaving the valley meant separation, especially for Tanya, who needed to return to the Judgment Council.
"When are we leaving?" Tanya asked, her tone tinged with melancholy.
"In two days," Luke replied. "Tanya, you’ll take the three cubs back to the Totem Serpent. Let it cultivate them."
Tanya’s eyes lit up with excitement. She had always envisioned her children becoming powerful totem beasts. Luke’s arrangement aligned perfectly with her wishes. She nodded eagerly.
"Chloe, you’ll accompany Marissa and me to Silvercrest Academy," Luke said after a moment of thought.
"But I don’t have the qualifications to enter Silvercrest Academy," Chloe said worriedly, pursing her lips.
Luke chuckled. "With your current strength, what qualifications do you need? Intermediate cultivation, a fire-type spirit seed, and dual expertise as a healing mage and apothecary. Any one of those credentials is enough for special admission."
Even Luke himself planned to gain entry as a special enrollee. Marissa’s summoning system had only reached Intermediate Stage Level Two, and she hadn’t yet signed any contracts. Luke also needed a human identity for his plans.
"Alright, I’ll give it a try," Chloe said with newfound determination, her eyes sparkling.
Her competitive nature made her eager to see how far her training under Luke’s guidance had brought her.
"Good. That’s settled for now," Luke said, satisfied. Then he turned to Marissa. "Come with me."
Luke led Marissa to a dense forest at the valley’s edge. The forest exuded a dark and eerie aura, even under the midday sun. Bloodstains and remnants of battles were scattered throughout, a grim reminder that this was a hunting ground for demons.
"Your plant system is just an ordinary plant attribute right now," Luke said. "Pick something you like from this forest, and I’ll retrieve it for you."
This dark forest, called the Ghost Forest, was a reward Luke had received from the system after Marissa became pregnant. It was the second resource reward, following the Flame Vein. Luke had planted it at the valley’s entrance to act as a natural defense.
"No, it’s too dangerous in there. I don’t want you risking yourself for me," Marissa said, shaking her head.
Luke smirked, charmed by her concern. "Fine, I’ll choose for you."
Before Marissa could protest, Luke darted into the forest. A dark, alluring flower caught his eye almost immediately: the Dark Mandala Flower, a plant from the Dark Plane.
"Perfect."
Just as Luke reached for the flower, four massive man-eating blossoms sprang open, their jaws snapping toward him.
"Warlord-level man-eating flowers? Pity you met me."
Luke’s flaming fists reduced the predatory plants to ash in seconds. The remains scattered into the soil, nourishing the forest’s other inhabitants. He returned to Marissa with the Dark Mandala Flower in hand.
"Use your vines to absorb its energy," Luke instructed.
Marissa hesitated. "Luke, don’t risk yourself like that for me again, alright?"
Luke chuckled, scratching his head. "Alright, no more risks."
With Luke’s assistance, Marissa quickly integrated the Dark Mandala Flower into her vines. The plant’s dark attribute was subdued by Luke’s advanced abilities, allowing Marissa to harness its power safely.
After parting with Marissa, Luke went to the Flame Vein. A year of cultivation had culminated in the formation of a single soul seed from the five spirit seeds he had been nurturing. Its golden flames were so intense that even Luke felt their heat.
"This must be the Burning Sky Golden Flame," Luke muttered, recalling the illustrations from the guidebook he had purchased. This medium soul seed offered a power boost of 4.5 times.
Luke submerged his hand into the flames. The fiery sensation spread through his body, but instead of resisting, the flames seemed to welcome him.
"Good choice, little one," Luke murmured, a smile playing on his lips. "Stick with me, and you won’t regret it."
After an hour, Luke had fully absorbed the Burning Sky Golden Flame. The golden flames danced around him before subsiding into his body, leaving him visibly more powerful.
In the remaining days, Luke integrated the spirit of a sub-commander-level demon into Wolf Two. This advanced the wolf from the General Level to the Commander Level. With Wolf One and Wolf Two both at Commander Level, and thousands of Bone-Spur Wolves at General Level, Luke’s clan had grown formidable.
