Became a Demon with Pregnancy System-Chapter 84: Idiot Cousin
Before Professor Xavier could argue, Luke ended the call.
Professor Xavier stared at his phone, dumbfounded.
Then he let out a dry laugh.
"...That little bastard tricked me."
Still, after tapping his desk a few times, he sighed and made another call.
"Get the Three-Step Pagoda ready for Marissa Jones," he instructed the facility manager.
"Duration?"
Professor Xavier sighed again.
"One month."
Marissa was sitting on the balcony, dressed in tight black yoga attire, her slender yet curvy figure accentuated as she stretched gracefully.
Luke watched her, arms crossed, his expression pleased.
"You look happy," she noted, glancing over her shoulder.
"Nothing much," Luke replied, grinning smugly. "Just tricked Professor Xavier into giving you one month in the Three-Step Pagoda."
Marissa froze mid-stretch.
"...ONE MONTH?"
Luke nodded.
"That’s... a ridiculous amount of time!"
"You’ll need it," Luke replied smoothly.
Marissa hesitated, but then smiled, her eyes softening.
"...Thank you, Luke."
Luke grinned.
But then, he noticed something strange.
Her clothes... were expanding?
A sharp tearing sound echoed.
RIP!
Marissa’s yoga outfit suddenly burst apart, pieces flying into the air as a faint green mist rose around her.
Luke’s eyes widened.
"Marissa! Are you okay?!"
Before he could react, a soft hand grabbed his thigh.
He looked down—
Marissa was half-covered in shredded fabric, her bare skin flushed red from the sudden breakthrough.
The lingering mist was the energy release from her unexpected cultivation jump.
Her body trembled slightly, yet she didn’t let go of him.
Instead, she tied her long hair into a ponytail, looking up at him shyly.
"Luke..." she murmured.
He gulped.
"Yeah?"
Her eyes glowed softly.
"Fulfill your promise."
Inside the next room, Zoe Miller and Tina Baine listened closely.
Zoe sighed. "Marissa really doesn’t waste time."
Tina grinned mischievously.
"Of course not! But we can’t let her outdo us."
Zoe rolled her eyes.
"She’s literally having a breakthrough—"
Tina waved her off.
"Whatever. If we don’t step up our game, we’ll be left behind!"
She grabbed a notebook, flipping through the pages.
"Here! This should work!"
Zoe glanced over her shoulder.
"...What is that?"
Tina grinned.
"Secret techniques."
Zoe facepalmed.
An hour later, Luke lay back, staring at the ceiling in satisfaction.
Marissa was asleep, her breathing soft and steady.
Luke chuckled to himself.
"Promise fulfilled."
His next goal was clear—
Bella White.
And after that?
Arcadia Academy.
There was still so much to do before leaving.
Professor Xavier leaned back in his chair, sipping his tea.
He eyed Luke with a knowing smirk.
"So... you’re still determined to go?"
Luke nodded.
"I need to see it myself."
Professor Xavier chuckled.
"Then go ahead," he said, waving him off.
"But Luke," he added, his expression turning serious, "Arcadia Academy isn’t like Celestial Academy."
"You’ll find monsters there."
Luke grinned.
"Good," he said.
"I like monsters."
.....
Happy days were always short-lived.
Luke had come to deeply understand this truth.
Not because he lacked leisure or the ability to enjoy life—far from it.
But because the world simply wouldn’t let him rest.
Trouble had a way of finding him, no matter where he went.
And today was no different. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
It was the second day after the opening ceremony, and Luke had exactly four days before leaving for Arcadia Academy as an exchange tutor.
He wasted no time.
Early in the morning, Luke called Professor Xavier, his conveniently generous master, and casually made another bold request.
This time, it wasn’t for himself.
He secured one week of access to the Three-Step Pagoda for Zoe Miller and Tina Baine.
When noon arrived, he personally escorted the two into the cultivation tower, earning himself three soft, lingering kisses as a reward.
Walking out of the tower, Luke found himself strutting across campus with three faint lip prints still visible on his cheek—much to the intense envy of his fellow male students.
Whispers spread like wildfire.
"That’s Luke, right?!"
"The legend! The guy who crushed the main campus elites?!"
"And now he’s getting kissed left and right by the top beauties?!"
"How the hell does he do it?! He doesn’t even try!"
Luke ignored the chatter, his wild, charismatic aura making him stand out like a lion among mere cubs.
Just as he was enjoying the attention, a soft, hesitant voice called out.
"Um... Excuse me."
Luke paused, his gaze shifting.
A petite, delicate-looking girl stood before him, her light brown hair catching the midday sun, her hands nervously clasped in front of her.
She lowered her head slightly, her long lashes fluttering, her cheeks dusted pink.
"Hello, Luke... I’m Bella White from the Healing Department. It’s a pleasure to meet you."
Luke smiled slightly.
A lamb walking straight into the tiger’s den?
How convenient.
Luke’s gaze was calm yet amused.
"Nice to meet you, Bella," he replied, keeping his voice smooth and nonchalant.
Her figure was petite, barely one meter six, and she had an innocent charm that made her look fragile yet graceful.
But right now, her twisting posture and nervous fidgeting made it painfully obvious—
She was interested.
Luke didn’t waste time.
"Bella," he said casually. "Come with me. I want to show you something fun."
Her eyes widened slightly.
"Ah...? W-what is it?"
"You’ll see," he said with a grin. "Trust me."
For a split second, Bella hesitated.
But then—
She nodded, her fingers tightening around the hem of her skirt.
"O-okay."
Just like that, she was caught.
But just as Bella was about to follow Luke—
A furious voice shattered the moment.
"Bella, what the hell are you doing?!"
A figure stormed forward, his face twisted with rage.
"Get away from that guy! He’s the enemy of our White Family!"
Luke’s smile didn’t fade.
Ah.
Here comes the idiot cousin.
