Becoming Secret Nanny for Possessive CEO-Chapter 161: Trapped by Callum
Edith vented her anger after witnessing the video footage live. The sight of Callum nearly being sexually assaulted by Yvette made her lose control. James also turned the video footage over to the police to increase Yvette’s sentence for attempting to sexually assault Callum.
Therefore, Edith immediately broke into the VIP room using a spare access card and rescued Callum from danger. She didn’t care that the police were also accusing her of violently assaulting Yvette. What was certain was that she did all this to save Callum.
"How dare you harass Callum in secret!" Edith snapped as she walked towards her fiancé and hugged him.
"How did you know?" Yvette stared at the still-relaxed Callum with a smirk. "Could it be that you two are working together to set me up!"
Callum smiled slyly and put his arm around his fiancée’s shoulder affectionately. "I warned you earlier not to disappoint you. I only love Edith."
"So, everything you told me earlier was just fake?"
"Yeah, I never wanted to hang out with you! You’re just a nuisance in my life!" Callum stared at his girlfriend with loving eyes. "Edith is my first and last love. She’s the only one who made me understand the meaning of love."
Edith couldn’t hold back her desire to drive Yvette even crazier. She kissed those sexy, seductive lips with pleasure, turning her head nimbly. Callum, too, relished the passionate kiss as he slowly groped his fiancée’s thighs, his right hand trying to unzip her white dress.
Yvette, who witnessed it live, went berserk and threw everything on the table onto the floor.
Hearing her stepsister’s insane screams, Edith momentarily broke the hot kiss and stared at her stepsister, who was laughing maniacally. "This is the result of your selfish desire to steal my future husband. You should have just shut up and followed your mother’s orders."
"If you hadn’t been adopted by my family, I wouldn’t be acting like this! This is all because of you, Edith! Callum’s accident five years ago was also because of you!"
"Edith, don’t listen to him! This isn’t your fault! I got into an accident because my family wanted to kill me."
Edith nodded, holding her beloved fiancé’s hand. "All my life, I’ve trusted only you."
"Edith..."
"I know Yvette said that on purpose to make me leave you. But it’s no use, I still won’t leave you again."
Callum glared at the disheveled, mad woman. "You’d better reflect on your actions in prison with your family. Since you’ve already admitted your mistakes, I’ve ordered the police to search your residence and my family’s residence for evidence of the accident five years ago."
"You’re crazy, Callum! You’ve bullied me this far just to protect that bitch!"
"Yes, I am crazy now just because I don’t want my woman to be oppressed by a crazy woman like you."
Yvette crossed her arms, smirking at her haughty stepsister. "Edith, could it be that you’ve been faking amnesia in front of me all this time?"
"Actually, I did have amnesia. But since Callum came back to me, my memories have slowly returned. Recently, all my memories have returned, including the chronology of the accident."
"If you still remember, why haven’t you learned your lesson? I warned you before the accident happened. If you get in my way, I won’t hesitate to kill you."
"Yes, I still remember, and I’m not afraid of you. That’s why Callum and I want to get revenge on you now."
Yvette paced back and forth, biting her nails. Her dazed expression, caused by the wine she had just drunk, made her look completely insane.
"By the way, Mark already knows your real plan. He told me about it yesterday," Callum said, cocking his head arrogantly.
"So, you’re all working together to catch me now?!"
"You’re targeting the wrong person, actually. Even Mark didn’t defend you. I’ll tell you the truth after I save you from the pool."

After Callum and Mark took care of several procedures at the hospital, they waited for Yvette to wake up outside the hospital room. Before talking, Mark bought Callum a soda and they sat next to each other.
Callum lowered his head in frustration, clenching his right fist tightly. In fact, of all the strange things that had happened to him, the incident at the pool was one of the worst, one that had forced him to share his lips with another woman and nearly caused Mark to misunderstand.
"Are you angry, Callum?"
Callum slowly lifted his head and looked at Mark, who was smiling casually. "How did you know I was angry?"
"Because I can see firsthand how annoying Yvette is in wanting to destroy your home life."
Callum furrowed his eyebrows as he placed the soda can on the seat next to him. "Wait a minute! You know everything?"
Mark nodded. "I know, actually. I was used like this to make it seem like I needed you. But, really, Yvette was just using me so she could get you." A heavy sigh escaped his lips. "I have no interest in staying at your hotel anytime soon, Callum. I’m sorry I deceived you earlier."
"It’s okay. It’s not your fault. Besides, you’re a victim just like me."
"Actually, I’ve been suspicious since we played golf. I could see her gaze focused on you. Plus, the way she spoke to you wasn’t just about business partners. From then on, I started to suspect her, even after the pool incident. I knew you wouldn’t want to administer CPR to a woman like that. That’s why I took the initiative to help you."
Callum smiled broadly and patted Mark’s shoulder casually. "Thanks for saving me, Mark. Since you did such a great service, I’ll repay you."
"No need. I just want you to maintain your relationship with your fiancée. I don’t like seeing someone’s harmonious relationship suddenly destroyed just because of a woman who’s not sane."
"Would you like to toast with me, Mark? I need to celebrate with you."
