Becoming Secret Nanny for Possessive CEO-Chapter 190: Beautiful Wedding Day
The wedding day finally arrived. Erdin and Eliana looked handsome and beautiful in black suits, bow ties, and white dresses studded with beads. Their job was to scatter flower petals as their parents walked down the aisle.
Of course, Edith and Callum didn’t invite many guests because they didn’t have many close friends. Even on their wedding day, neither of their parents would be attending because both were incarcerated. Despite this, they were still happy because nothing was standing in the way of their wedding anymore.
Callum was still on duty welcoming guests into the venue, while Edith remained hidden in the dressing room, watching her twins, who were also being made up. Edith now looked perfect in her ballgown-style wedding dress.
"Erdin, Eliana, how do I look now?" asked Edith, lifting her dress and spinning around.
Erdin and Eliana stared at their mother in amazement until their mouths were wide open.
"Mom is very beautiful like a princess in a fairy tale," praised Eliana, clapping her hands happily.
Erdin also gave a thumbs-up and clapped his hands. "Mom was perfect today. Dad will definitely fall even more in love with you."
"I’ve truly fallen even more in love with your mother today, my son. I was actually jealous hearing you praise her without my knowledge."
The handsome father suddenly entered the room, startling Erdin. He smiled shyly and held his younger sister’s hand tightly.
"Sorry, Dad. I didn’t mean to steal Mom."
Callum burst out laughing, pinching his son’s tiny cheeks. "You’re so innocent, my son. And I never stopped you from complimenting your mother’s beauty."
"Daddy looks so handsome today, like a prince." Eliana put her father and mother’s hands together. "Today, Daddy and Mommy look like a prince and princess in a fairy tale."
"Of course. Because starting today, I promise to protect your mother for the rest of my life. I will make sure your mother will be happy like a princess in a fairy tale."
Edith blushed and gently patted her future husband’s arm. "Because of all the sweet talk you’re making me so excited right now, I can’t wait to marry you."
Callum took a moment to look around the room, which was only attended by his little family. "If my mother were still alive, she would be so happy to see me marry such a kind, angelic woman."
"Your mother must be watching our wedding from up there. Plus, she’s proud of you for all this time fighting to catch up with me and not letting me marry Cliff."
Callum took his bride-to-be’s hand. "Actually, I wasn’t satisfied with introducing you to my mother before. I want her to get to know you better."
"When we have some free time, I’d like to visit her grave again with the twins. I’d also like to talk to her again."
A moment later, the master of ceremonies entered the room to give a signal that the wedding ceremony would soon begin, so they had to get ready first outside the ballroom.
Callum let his future wife wrap her arms around him tightly. "Come on, honey! We have to go now."
"By the way, I’m still curious about what your ballroom decorations look like. You haven’t let me see it yet."
"You and the kids will love it." Callum winked with his right eye.
Now the little family walked together toward the ballroom. They were already standing on the red carpet. Erdin and Eliana had already carried small baskets filled with rose petals to throw as they entered the ballroom. Meanwhile, Edith and Callum gazed at each other with loving gazes.
As the ballroom doors opened wide, Erdin and Eliana entered the ballroom area while throwing colorful rose petals, followed by the bride and groom who walked on the red carpet to the wedding altar. This harmonious little family was greeted enthusiastically by all the invited guests who attended this wedding party. The ballroom decoration with a night sky theme decorated with stars hanging from the ceiling made Edith unable to hold back tears of joy. She did not expect Callum to really decorate the entire ballroom as if they were enjoying the view of the night sky while on vacation in Switzerland. Moreover, in between the hanging stars, there is also a collection of photos of them from their first meeting until their marriage.
"Do you like the decoration of this ballroom?" whispered Callum.
Edith let tears of joy roll down her cheeks, gazing around the sparkling ballroom. "No wonder you hid it from me. If I had known from the start, this surprise would have seemed meaningless."
"I haven’t finished surprising you yet. I’ll give you more surprises."
"You are really good at this."
Their footsteps stopped when they reached the altar. They stood facing each other and held hands to recite their wedding vows.
"Callum Alexander, are you willing to accept Edith Rosella as your wife who will accompany you in your life in any situation?"
Callum nodded and smiled broadly. "I am very willing to accept Edith Rosella as my beloved wife."
"Edith Rosella, are you willing to accept Callum Alexander as your husband who will accompany you in any condition?"
Edith nodded enthusiastically, wiping her eyelids. "Of course I’m willing because I love him."
"Now it’s time for you to say your wedding vows together."
"Edith Rosella and Callum Alexander, we promise to love each other, to respect and support each other. Furthermore, we will maintain our small family, making it even more harmonious and loyal to protecting our family together."
Everyone cheered enthusiastically at the sweet vows. Now it was time for Edith and Callum to place their wedding rings on each other’s ring fingers.
For a moment, Callum wiped away the tears that continued to flow down his beloved wife’s cheeks with his thumb. "I love you so much, Edith. Thank you for marrying me."
"I love you too, Callum. I will never forget this beautiful moment of our wedding."
Before all the guests cheered them on for the wedding kiss, marking their official marriage, they took the initiative and shared a passionate, open kiss for quite some time. Everyone was overjoyed to witness this sweet wedding moment, especially two couples who were moved to tears.
