Alex checked on her and was certain that she wasn’t in any form of danger, he estimated that she would wake up in a day or two.

Now that she had awakened and possessed a soul sea, even though she couldn’t absorb mana, the mana in her body could sustain her for a week at least so they didn’t have to worry about her starving while she was unconscious.

Alex finally bid his parents farewell and started his journey back to Brandvel City.

It was evening when Alex arrived at Brandvel City. He didn’t waste any time and went straight to the Union Core Centre.

He appeared directly in Maria’s office, already in his Mr Chen outfit.

Maria stood up upon seeing him, she wasn’t too surprised to see him since it had always been Mr Chen’s habit to randomly appear without warning.

"I’m in need of a few things," Alex said straight away.

Maria’s eyes gleamed when she heard this. Mr Chen needed something? She was interested!

"What do you need? Tell me, I’ll do everything I can to help you get them." She declared.

"I’m in need of a soul jewel, space element essence stone, and the void eye," Alex stated.

He didn’t include the chaos element essence stone for reasons only known to him.

Maria "..."

After listening to the items that Mr Chen mentioned, Maria’s face turned blank for a moment before turning into a weak smile.

’As expected of Mr Chen, I should have expected that the things that he’ll need help with won’t be ordinary.’

"Will getting them be a problem?" Alex asked after seeing the weak smile on Maria’s face, which was similar to the smile of someone in a hopeless situation.

"Not necessarily, Mr Chen. It’s just that the items that you need are extremely rare and not easy to find. We might not even find some of them on this continent." Maria explained.

’I guessed as much,’ Alex thought before asking Maria about the items that could be found.

"Honestly, with the connection of the Union in our country, I’ll probably only be able to get you the space element essence stone," Maria said before explaining that she would help Mr Chen send out a mission to all explorers to gather information regarding a space essence stone or directly bring the space essence stone.

Alex and Maria spent the rest of the time discussing the mission to find the space element essence stone. Alex had to agree that Maria’s suggestion was the fastest way they could find one and was glad that he had come to her.

The reason? A mission has been issued by the Union Core Centre to find a space element essence or bring any valuable news about one; the rewards for either mission were enough to set some people up for life.

And the owner of the mission was none other than Mr Chen!

The creature that resembled a two-meter-tall human with a translucent form appeared in front of the two of them with a flicker of silver white light.
