Stella’s POV

Sebastian and I are already in the car and on our way home to his condo. He would take me first before he went straight to his dad’s place. When we arrived, he first opened the car door for me, and then I got out. Sebastian is really a gentleman person, one quality that I adored him.

"I really want to spend time with you, sweetheart but unfortunately, this is an urgent to deal with. I’m sorry, all our plans got ruined this weekend, " Sebastian said.

"It’s alright. I hope you will solve the problem of your siblings. "

"I know, but we have no choice. We have to tell dad everything. "

"Just relax, sweetheart, okay? Where are they now, by the way? "

"Louis took Michelle to his house first, she really wanted to come, because she also wanted to explain to dad the case. But we thought it would be better for the three of us to talk first because the problem might get worse when dad sees her."

Sebastian got in his car and left while I went to the condo unit. When I entered, I immediately changed my clothes and called Carla. I dialed Carla’s number. It took five rings before she answered my call.

"Hello, Stella?"

"Hello, Carla. How is Sebby? "

"Right now, he is sleeping soundly. By the way, why were you called? I thought you and Sebastian were on a weekend vacation? "

"Um... yea but there is a problem happened...so, we went home...they have an urgent conversation with his dad and his brother."

After our phone conversation, I went to the kitchen and opened Sebastian’s fridge. When I opened it looked like he wasn’t buying meat or chicken because all I could see were instant foods that just had to be heated using the microwave. What exactly should I expect in a man who is very busy with life and can hardly go home to his condo? Of course, he doesn’t have time to cook, or maybe he doesn’t know how to cook. Of course, he doesn’t need to learn how to cook if he could buy the foods he wanted to eat. Since I didn’t see anything that could be cooked in his fridge; I decided to just call the pizza delivery. While I was waiting for Carla, I thought of arranging some of my belongings. While I was arranging some things I noticed a photo album in a corner of his cabinet. I picked it up and opened it, I saw it was a family album and it looked like it was Sebastian’s family album. I noticed a beautiful woman hugging a baby boy in an old photo, maybe it was Sebastian when he was a baby and it was his mom the woman cuddling him. Sebastian didn’t tell me much about his mom, I only knew that she got sick and died of cancer. I was about to look at some more photos when suddenly I heard a doorbell. So, I immediately hid back the photo album and opened the door.

"Stella! I miss you! " Carla greeted me while she was holding Sebby.

"I miss you too, Carla and I miss Sebby as well," I replied and took Sebby.

I let Carla inside the condo and closed the door. I put Sebby down first and I sat beside Carla.

"So, what’s the news?" Carla asked immediately.

"Excited?" I said while smiling.

"Sorry, just curious."

"Drinks? Do you want some red wine? " I ask her.

"Sure. What did you cook, by the way? "

"Um... unfortunately, I couldn’t cook because there was nothing in Sebastian’s fridge, all instant foods that just had to be heated using the microwave."

"Oh, I see, most men are really like that, especially your boyfriend is a busy man, he doesn’t have time to cook."

"Right, but I don’t even know if he can cook though."

Carla suddenly laughed at what I said and patted my shoulder. "So, you will not only be his girlfriend but you will also be his cook. How sweet that is, " Carla laughed.

"Stop, Carla! I know that’s funny but don’t make me think that’s really my purpose here as his girlfriend. "

"Chill, Sebastian is a rich guy, it’s not mandatory that you have to cook for him, you can eat at expensive restaurants whenever you want."

"Whatever, Carla!" I said when suddenly someone rang the doorbell again so I opened it. And I saw the pizza delivery guy, he handed me the pizza. After I paid him, I brought the pizza to the table in the living room.

"I just ordered pizza instead of eating nothing."

"It’s okay, pizza is also delicious," Carla replied.

I poured wine into Carla’s glass and I also poured mine. Then I sat down next to her.

"Cheers! Seems like, Sebby still sleeping," Carla said.
