Chapter 87: Obsessed Part 2

Elizabeth’s POV

Before I even opened the door, I knew who would be waiting for me. Putting on the dress I’d chosen for his arrival, I couldn’t help but smile as I checked my hair in the mirror to make sure it wasn’t sexy. There is no way for me to do it, even if it were the only sex I had with myself. Laughing, I sprinted down the stairs and snatched the door from the housekeeper’s grasp in a split second. As she walked away, Rhea gave me a curious glance before shaking her head and smiling.

Saliva swallowed and my heart rate slowed down as I tried to relax. After that, I was willing to let myself in. The world’s most perfect man stood in the sun, surrounded by what appeared to be rainbows and glitter. His sandy blonde hair gave him the stereotypical Californian look. Because of his immaculately maintained, very stylish, well-tailored business suit, and well-groomed appearance, you might mistake him for a typical businessman.

He is a Californian surfer. Natural tanning and blue eyes only served to enhance the stereotype. Oh, and he did get in some exercise. Even though his suit, the biceps, and triceps of his arms were clearly visible. Just picturing how close those arms would keep me to his massive frame made me shiver a little.

It’s possible that he could have been a successful model if he’d decided to do so.

Upon my arrival, he looked shocked as he opened the door and saw me standing in front of him.

It was that fatherly smile he flashed at me that day that made me want to wipe his face clean and replace it with something else: "I was expecting you here, Eliza," he said.

That’s what my parents told me. As I flung open the door for him, I reassured him that they were gone for the time being but would return soon.

"Was that what I’d heard you were going to do for the weekend?"

His reply was, "Yes, until the renovations are complete." The situation over there is getting out of hand." I offered to rent you a room, but you know your father – "

I put my hand on Julian’s arm as we made our way to the landing at the bottom of the staircase and laughed. To get him used to the sensation of my hands on him, I decided to start with acclimating him. Slowly increase your speed as you get used to it. Yes, I had meticulously planned out every aspect of my small mission, down to the smallest details.

I was about to show off my tiniest of abs in the tiny dress I was wearing when he put his hand on my elbow and stopped me in my tracks.

"I’m not going to fight you," he offered his kind smile as an alternative. "You don’t have to show me around." I was irritated by that smile. "This house is home to me."

To which I replied, "It’s not a problem at all. I want you to feel comfortable here."

A wide grin spread across his face as he replied, "I already do."

When he said it, was he addressing my body specifically? What if it was all in my head? Is it possible that I was so enamored with him that I interpreted everything he said, looked at, and gestured as a sign of his affection? The most likely scenario was the latter.

On the second floor, I led him to the room where he’d be spending the rest of his stay. The guest room my parents had selected for him was conveniently located next door to mine, which was a happy accident. When Willie entered the room, he threw his things on the beautifully made-up queen-sized bed. To be honest, I’m sure my mother would take credit for it, but Rhea came up with the idea.

The way Willie looked at me was awkward, as though he wasn’t quite sure what to say or do next. He may have been wondering why I was still staring at him in his room. Even though I didn’t want to be obvious about it, I was savoring every inch of his delicious body. As soon as I caught his gaze, my stomach jerked and I felt as if a bonfire had been lit between my thighs.

As I mentioned his ex-name, "So I heard about Bea," I said, "Please accept my sincere apologies."

As he combed his long, curly hair, Willie kept his gaze fixed on the ground. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

However, "It’s probably for the best," he continues. "We weren’t a good match, you and I. Different goals and concepts were at play. I wanted a variety of things in life."

It wasn’t long before I realized what you were referring to. His words were crystal clear to me after meeting Bea for the first time. Their relationship was doomed from the start; she only made him weak. As soon as it started, I knew what was going to happen. Because of my feelings for Bea, I was never a fan of Bea, but it wasn’t just because of that.

"She was a little too tense," I said, trying to sound concerned while maintaining my diplomatic composure. My gaze remained fixed on him as I brushed my chestnut brown hair with one hand and twirled it around my finger. If my signals weren’t getting through, or if he was being purposefully evasive, or just ignoring any potentially impure thoughts about me, I didn’t know what to make of it. The goal was for him to notice me. In addition, I wanted to make sure he realized that I wasn’t the same little girl he had known in the past. When I was a lady, I was treated as such. It is my right to make my own decisions about my personal life, including who I sleep with.

His reply was, "That’s an option."

"That girl was a bitch, no doubt about it," I declared categorically.

But despite his surprise, Bea burst out laughing at my words, which surprised him. I was aware of the fact that he remembered me as a youngster. That was evident in his fatherly grin, which was akin to a pat on the head in the annoyance department. He still saw me as the obnoxious adolescent who would bully him and say things that were inappropriate. Despite my best efforts, I was only joking around with him to mask my true intentions. When I was a teen, I must have had a crush on him. In retrospect, I realized even a blind man would have recognized it. He didn’t seem to think those feelings would last as I matured as a woman if he was aware of them at the time. The truth was that these emotions persisted and even intensified over time. When I was younger, I may have been too young for him to recognize my signals.

In the event that you don’t mind, I’d like to put my formal attire away and change it into something a little more casual. If that’s the case, why do I have to dress professionally here? Assuming that your father does not insist on men wearing ties and shirt collars to the dinner table?

I expressed my displeasure with the situation with a chuckle and a shake of my head. His expression was enigmatic as he said, "No, Willie, you can wear whatever you like. Thank you for your understanding. What if I refer to you like that instead? Since we’re both adults, I thought about it."

In another, perhaps less subtle way, I was letting him know that I was no longer a little girl. However, when he saw me, he had a look of surprise on his face and nothing else. To his surprise, he didn’t pick up on my cues and was perplexed that I wasn’t calling him as I had done for the better part of my life. We were both adults now, so I felt the need to use his first name, the one I’d scream at him if he ever touched me inappropriately.

"Uhh, no problem," he said in a low voice. She responds, "Of course."

"Okay," I agreed.

With my gaze wandering over his body, I unconsciously undressed him while standing in the doorway. I hoped he’d finally get the hint. When I first started dating Rhea, I hoped she’d get the message that my parents weren’t home and that now was the perfect time to fulfill any sex fantasies he’d harbored about me for all these years.

Suggestive licking of the lips was all I could muster. "Since becoming an adult, I’m hoping we can get along better and be more friendly with each other."

"All grown up," he muttered under his breath, shaking his head. You were that annoying little girl who teased me mercilessly most of the time, and that’s all I remember about you. That is, until I see you, and I begin to wonder, "How did this happen?"

"Yes?

"As I stood at attention," I said.

After so many years of not being able to recognize me, he finally realized that I had grown up. After admitting that he had looked at me and noticed something different, what did he think? His cheeks were a bright red, and he stared at me for only a few seconds before he turned his attention elsewhere.

"Just that you’re all grown up, Eliza," he muttered under his breath. "Obviously."

With a grin on my face, I replied, "Of course."

"Please allow me to get settled in before dinner if that is all right with you."

Everything happened so quickly that I had no idea what was going on. While the throbbing in my legs told me I’d been hoping for it, my logical side knew it would take time. I’m glad I wasn’t disappointed. As of this moment, he had finally acknowledged that I was no longer the young girl I had previously known. To put it another way, it’ll take some time. However, it would all work out. And he’d be buried deep within me like a treasure.

"Okay, but if there’s anything else I can do for you, please let me know. Anything at all," I replied. "Cause you already know, my room is right next to yours."

I left the house with a smile on my face, a flutter in my heart, and a pair of soaked panties. For a long time, I’d dreamed of achieving this goal of mine. He couldn’t tell what had happened to him. But he’d love it, I’m sure. I’d do the same, as well.
