<Trigger warning: Ahem! Lovely reader, This Chapter curtains non-con kissing stuff and so on, please proceed with caution.>
NOAH
"Noah, you’re hurting my feelings," he said, his voice dropping into that cutesy, mock-sadness that made my stomach turn. "I’m just trying to help you relax. Why are you being so difficult?"
I was on my back now, crawling backward on my elbows and heels, an undignified, animalistic retreat across the cold marble floor. Alex loomed over me, his shadow stretching long and dark across my body. He stopped, looking down at me with a hunger that made my skin crawl.
He took the second pill and placed it on his own tongue, but he didn’t swallow. He opened his mouth slightly, showing me the small, white disk sitting on the pink muscle of his tongue.
His smile changed then. It became something raw and distorted. His pupils were blown wide... whether from the drug he’d just taken or from the sheer arousal of the hunt, I couldn’t tell. He looked like a demon wearing a human’s face.
My back hit the wall. The cold stone was a finality I wasn’t ready for. I looked up, and Alex was right there, looming over me, a god of ruin.
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!" I screamed, the sound tearing at my throat. I threw a punch... a desperate, clumsy swing aimed at his perfect face.
It connected. My knuckles hit his jaw with a sickening thud. But Alex didn’t flinch. His head turned slightly with the impact, but he didn’t cry out, and he didn’t pull back. He just turned his gaze back to me, his eyes dead and unmoved, as if I were a fly that had landed on his sleeve.
His hand shot out, lightning-fast. He grabbed my wrist... the one I’d used to hit him... with a grip like a steel vice. He pinned it to the wall beside my head, the force of it bruising my skin instantly. I pulled, I twisted, I kicked, but he was a mountain.
His other hand moved to my jaw. He grabbed me, his fingers digging into my bone, forcing my face up to meet his. "No! No! Stop!"
He ignored my pleas. He leaned down, and before I could turn my head, his mouth crashed onto mine. It wasn’t a kiss; it was a violation. It was brutal, a crushing weight that forced my lips open. I tried to keep my teeth clenched, I tried to push him away with my free hand, I tried to kick his shins, but he didn’t move.
I felt it then. The pill.
He used his tongue to force it from his mouth into mine. I felt the dry, chalky texture against my tongue, and I tried to spit it out, to choke it back up, but Alex pressed his mouth over my mouth, holding it shut. He forced his tongue deeper, pushing, driving the pill toward the back of my throat.
I began to gag. I couldn’t breathe. I was drowning in the scent of his cologne and the metallic taste of the drug. My body betrayed me... a desperate, involuntary swallow reflex triggered by the pressure.
I felt the pill slide down my esophagus.
Alex felt it too. He pulled away, his breathing ragged, a look of dark triumph on his face.
The moment he released me, I fell forward, coughing and retching. I shoved my fingers into my mouth, trying to trigger a gag reflex, desperate to bring the poison back up. "No, no, no!" 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
Alex watched me with a look of bored amusement. "See? That wasn’t so bad, was it?"
I kept retching, my eyes streaming with tears, until Alex’s patience finally snapped. The mask didn’t just slip; it disintegrated. His face went cold, his eyes turning into shards of ice. He grabbed me roughly by the shoulders and shook me, his fingers bruising the muscle.
"Stop being so fidgety," he hissed, his voice hard and dangerous. "Stop fighting me."
He pulled me close, our faces inches apart. The warmth was gone. There was only a hollow, lethal void where the Angel used to be. "Now let’s get to the second part."
He picked me up easily. I was lean, my weight no match for the strength hidden beneath his suit. I kicked and hit his chest, but it was like striking a statue. He carried me back to the couch and dropped me. My back hit the cushions with a heavy, sickening impact that knocked the last of the air from my lungs.
He grabbed a bottle of scotch and tipped it over me, careless as it splashed and ran.
"Helps it settle better," he said, a crooked smirk pulling at his mouth.
His other hand clamped around my jaw, fingers digging in as he forced my mouth open and poured again. The alcohol burned its way down my throat, the heat fusing with whatever the drug was already setting loose inside me.
Then, just as my mouth was full, he stopped.
As I tried to push myself up, my body began to fail.
My heart started to race... a frantic, staccato beat that felt like it was trying to burst through my ribs. A sudden, sweltering heat washed over me, making the air in the room feel like steam. I tried to move my arm, but it felt like it weighed a hundred pounds. My vision began to blur at the edges, the luxurious living room turning into a smear of white and gold.
And then, the most horrifying part: I felt an involuntary surge of arousal. My body was responding to the chemicals even as my mind screamed in protest. It was a sick, physiological betrayal.
Alex settled between my legs, his weight pinning me to the cushions. I tried to close my thighs, to push him away, but my muscles wouldn’t respond. I was a passenger in my own skin.
He reached for my waist. I heard the clink of metal... the sound of my belt buckle being undone. The leather slid through the loops with a hiss that sounded like a snake.
"S-stop..." I tried to say, but the word was a slurred, unrecognizable mess.
Alex didn’t stop. He looked down at me, his fingers working on the buttons of my trousers.
"All those times I had to act nice," he murmured, his voice a low, venomous crawl. "Do you know how hard that was? Playing the background character. Watching him touch you. Watching you look at him with those pathetic, pleading eyes."
He leaned down, his breath hot against my ear. "I’ve been waiting for this. So. Fucking. Long."
His words began to sound distant, as if he were speaking from the bottom of a well.
The black spots at the edges of my vision grew, merging into a dark, suffocating tide. I could feel his hands on my skin, the cool air hitting my legs as he pulled my clothes away, but I couldn’t stop it. I couldn’t even scream.
I felt his weight, his breathing, the touch of his skin against mine, and then... mercifully... the world began to dim into nothingness.
