[BL]The Hero and his Party Won't Let Me Go-Chapter 201: Ch : Itβs all Alright
"Hmmm-! Ah, itβs such a wonderful day outside. The birds are singing, and I can hear the bells chiming as well. Love is in the air. Can you all feel it as well?" ππ«ππ²π¨πππππ―ππΉ.ππ¨πΊ
The soft and melodious voice asked the servants, but they all stood frozen in shock and horror as they watched Goddess Astoria hum to herself and speak.
She was in a good mood recently, and that meant that something tragic was about to happen. Only tragedies to others could make the goddess happy.
Her servants dared not to ask her any question. She was in a mood where she might bestow them with a βgift.β But her gifts were nothing more than torture to these people... most of the time.
"Are you all not going to ask me what I am so happy about?"
The goddess finally got tired of celebrating on her own and asked her servants. They all flinched at her attention, but now that she had asked them this directly, they had to reply to her.
"Of course, mistress. What makes you so happy?"
One of the closest aides to her asked this question. He looked scared for his life, and for good reason.
But the goddess did not do anything to him. In fact, she reached out to grab his hand, and the servants felt a sudden burst of power filling him up.
"What makes me happy, you ask? I am happy because it is finally time for my dear weapon to come back to my grasp. All the framework has been laid out. This happy moment... soon it will become nothing more than a memory of chaos for that demon king."
The servants quickly realized that their goddess had no intention of letting the marriage happen in the first place.
She relished destruction, and she was planning to destroy this situation. No wonder she was so happy.
"Anyway, you all should hurry up and prepare my weaponβs room. Make sure it is spotless so he does not have to worry about it or get annoyed by it. I will come to check it out soon."
The servants gave the goddess a quick bow before they left the scene. The goddess watched them leave with a heavy look in her eyes at first. But then her attention went back to her watchglass once more.
Inside the glass, she could see that Princess Danielle and Prince Yunn were making preparations for their marriage.
Unfortunately, no matter how much they tried, things were going to get messy.
Lady Canarie, Duke Inferno, and the others who were under her influence already (thanks to Lady Elysiaβs curse) were ready to act.
"Itβs time to turn this world upside down. Soon, that demon king would destroy his own prison, and in turn, he would end up killing himself. And my weapon will finally return to my side. This time, I will make sure it is not able to leave my grasp."
Goddess Astoria clutched her hand into a fist, and the poor servant she had filled with her power exploded as his body exceeded the amount of power it could hold.
The other servants watched this happen. But none of them had enough power or courage to talk to the goddess or tell her off.
They could only pray that they would, one day, be free from her tyranny.

"Donβt put it there. The basket goes to the other side."
"Have the guests started to arrive? Make sure they are seated in the right place. We cannot afford to have any accidents right now."
"What about the food? Has it started to cool down by now? Reheat it again..."
There was chaos in the imperial castleβs kitchen and planning rooms. No matter where Shuu went, he could only see people running around.
And yet, he felt ignored, even among all these people.
βSee! In the end, they donβt need us. Even Kaiden does not need us. He hardly ever comes looking for us these days. Us being here or not being here makes no difference.β
The voice was getting louder and louder inside Shuuβs mind. The more time he spent with that voice, the easier it became to tune it out. But that did not mean it was not taking a psychological toll on his mental health.
Shuu could already feel that bone-deep exhaustion that threatened to choke him. It threatened to swallow him, and he was barely able to keep himself afloat at the moment.
A single moment of weakness was all that would be needed to swallow him whole...
"I should go and change my clothes. Princess Danielle would have a fit if she saw what I was wearing during her wedding. I better change into something more suitable."
Shuu pushed himself away from the wall and walked back toward his room. It was a nice distraction from the chaos inside him.
Changing into the clothes provided for him took no time. Thankfully, the clothes looked fancy and complicated, but they were easy to wear alone.
The maids were still avoiding him at this point, but Shuu did not care at this point. He was more comfortable alone.
βAt least the maids are not avoiding the kids...β
The kids were currently with Princess Danielle, as she had asked them to be the ring bearers. They were likely getting ready to represent her, and that would require some time.
"I should go and find Kaiden now. He promised to come and find me before the actual wedding, but heβs running a little late. His aides must have caught him for some emergency work, like usual."
It had been a whole month since Shuu had been able to meet Kaiden properly. He had tried to visit the emperor a few times, but had decided not to disturb him once he saw how busy Kaiden looked.
Shuu was starting to feel lonely now, and unfortunately, the voice inside his head was just getting louder about that fact.
βAll of this can end at a single decision from us. What do we even have to worry about?β
