Black Quantiarch: The Progenitor's Odyssey-Chapter 206: The Greenwood Academy [46]

After the long kiss Black and Selina were again on there way!!

This time they took the skies to traverse the mountainous region! From here they could finally witness the full majesty of the mountain chains!!

It was really a marvel! Like a serrated crown of earth that teared at the belly of the sky! The jutted peaks like silent sentinels!!

The grayish land cold and enduring adorned with granite hearts! Stretching for as far as the eye can see! Many jagged cliff and rugged rock formations with sharp and uneven edges graced the mountains!!

The wind howled where the mountains met the clouds!! Deep ravines! Canyons and valleys running in between the many mountains! Some widening! Some narrowing! Like many puzzles put together!!

From where they were! To the left was the tallest mountain peak! Next to it was the second tallest! Next the third tallest! Moreover the mountain where they were headed was flat at the peak! It was the only mountain with such a terrain! Making it rather distinct and easily perceivable amidst the other mountains!!

And on the flat rocky land- situated between three jutted rock formations was another destroyed city! Just as wide and big as the one at which Black had himself be teleported! At the start of the tournament!!

"Mm!! They noticed us!!" He narrowed his eyes! His attention fixed on the few figures standing on top of the city walls!!

"Grrr!! ... "

Next instant Black blinked! His surprised gaze turned towards his Elf who released the literal growl of hatred out of the blue!! "What's wrong!? Selina!?" He asked! His tone curious! Then his remembered!! "Perhaps do you know someone there! Amongst those participants!?"

Lina took a deep breath! Exhaling! She nodded heavily!! "I do My Lord!!~~ " Afterwards with Black she also had her gaze refocused on the four participants who by now had also noticed there presence!!

"Though I don't know who those three magical beasts are but you see that Man in the academy uniform! The one with light blue hair and deep-blue eyes! I know him!!

I know him quiet well in fact! His name is Lim My Lord! He is a lackey of Ray! But I don't know if that disgusting Man is also here with him or not!!~~ "

"O!!" Black nodded calmly!! "So what are you going to do with him! Is he also a subject to your hatred!?"

"No! He isn't! But he is still a sickening man! Lackey to another! There is not much difference between the two Man's in My eyes! They're both pigs!!

Anyways as this Lackey pig had never stepped out of his line with Me! Even if he did that because of the Leader pig! I suppose he doesn't deserve death! I'll just brake his bones and forget about him!!"

"Sure! If you say so!."

In a few minutes they were near the city walls with only a few 100 meters distance between the four participants standing on the kilometer tall city wall and them hovering in the skies!!

"Stop right there!!"

It was a male participants who spoke! He was dressed in some kind of adventurous clothes! Not only him- All 3 of the other participants aside from Lim where wearing the same style of clothes!!

Not to mention all three had a tail and two orange ears resembling that of a tiger! There faces were ordinary with few scares here and there! They had black hair and orange eyes mirroring the color of there long tail and two small tiger-like ears!!

'A magical beast Tiger in his Humanoid form!! Aside from all three being at Ascension Level 79!!'

"Damn just how stupid these two must have to be! To willingly deliver themselves to us! Don't they know that this is a survival game!? That they have to hide in it and not roam around in the skies like some morons!!.. Haha!!.. "

"Good for us we get to earn some free badges!!"

"Hey! Forgot about the badges! Do you not see the woman besides that Man!! HaaaH!!.. Such a heavenly beauty!

I'd rather have her then some useless badges!!"

When the first two Magical Beasts heard the last one! They too focused there attention on Selina who had already suppressed her beauty at her Lord's request! Anyways she was currently busy contemplating if she should simply kill the magical beasts or torture them for daring to have desires about her!!

"My god!! I.. I'm in love! Enough- I don't even mind forfeiting the Elixir of this stage of this tournament! One that was capable of increasing out base prowess!!"

"Right! If I can have her then I'm willing to sacrifice everything! Even you two!!" The mentioned two nodded showing the same desire!!

Lim sneered in disdain!! "Do you even see the number on that Man's badge! It's 60- something that not even our Leader! Who is an Exceptional Genius! A student of the S-class have! Let alone My Leader Ray who is a A-class student!!"

"But that Man! Isn't he like us!? Isn't he only at Ascension Level 79 too! So how can he have so many badges!?"

The three beasts finally noticed the anomaly! There wide and shocked gaze fixed on Black! As they questioned in bewilderment to the one responsible for making them notice the anomaly!!

Lim also had his gaze refocused on Black!! "Indeed that Man is only at Level 79 just like us! So he shouldn't be that strong or capable of collecting so many badges!!

That means that woman beside him! That you three are drooling after is probably someone at Ascension Rank 8! And she must be strong too with already having quiet a good number of Levels under her belt!!

I bet you never noticed! That you can't sense her Levels because of her heavenly beauty! Heh!!"

His gaze now fixed on Selina narrowed with a palpable frown! 'Not to mention I feel as if I've seen her somewhere or as if I personally know her!!'

He shook head!

'I must be dreaming to even think of such absurdity! Have I also fallen for her otherworldly allure! I can't tell! Simply looking into her golden eyes I feel lost! And fear that she might consume Me if I stared a second too long!!

Her cold expression! The contempt in her calm eyes! There is no way I could've forgotten about her if I had ever met her previously!!'

They shuddered!! "We're cooked! We should quickly get out of here and inform our Leader about her! I certainly don't want to die just because of ogling at her sinful figure! If you want to then you can stay!!"

Saying such! The magical beast turned! He was just about to take off into the city! When an invisible blade of wide slid through the air soundlessly! In a second it was on him severing his head clean from his body!!

*Swish!!~~* ... *Thud!!~~*

His blood sprayed wetting the other three participants in it's warmth! They blinked not understanding what just happened! There heads forcefully turned towards the still standing headless body!! *Thud!!~~*

However the second it fumbled to the ground! The 3 figures jerked! Minds coming out of there daze! Eyes wide with horror and terror both! Which was further amplified by the severed head on the ground that was looking towards them with it's s mouth and eyes still open!!

'He didn't even realize!? ... '

The thought was shared by all three of them! Making there soul's palpatate! They forcefully turned there heads towards the Man who launched this attack!!

There throats dry with fear while they gulped at the realization that how wrong there previous assumptions were! The Man wasn't weak at all! He was a monster beyond there comprehension!!

"You are not to leave until I say so! Am I understood!?" Black asked with a smile!!

The 3 nodded obediently and unresistingly!!

"Good!!" His lips curled! He glanced at his Elf! His hand raised towards her!! "Come Lina!!~~ " Selina smiled heartily! Grasping her Lord's firm hand with her cool and tender palm!!

Afterwards the couple flew towards the tall city wall and landed before the three participants!! The 3 not daring to look towards the woman anymore!!

"Hey you Long-hair!!" Black spoke to the Magical Beast on the right!

The mentioned Beast blinked! His expression uncertain!! "M-My Lord are you referring to Me!?" He asked! Finger pointing at himself!!

"Of course I'm!!" Black raised his brows!! "Is there anyone else who has long hair here beside from you!!" The Man looked to his left! At his friend who had short hair! Again to the left at Lim who also had short hair!!

Then at Black who too had long hairs! But he tacitly kept his mouth shut! Not wanting to needlessly provoke the Man who literally had his life on his hand!!

"Anyways you go and invite your Leaders and anyone else who is in this city here! If they ask why then say if they didn't come then they'll die along with you all! Now go!!" He uttered dismissively!!

The 3 Man trembled again! At the arrogant words Black uttered!!

Regardless being weaker! They didn't dare open there mouths! The beast glanced at the two Man besides him! Afterwards he nodded at Black! Turned around and shot into the city!!

His speed the fastest it had ever been!!

"Now!! It's time for My wifey to do her thing! I'll just sit back and watch!!" Black glanced at his Elf! He questioned! His lips arched up!! "That's acceptable right Lina!?~~ "

Selina flushed slightly!!

She still wasn't over the fact that her Lord had taken her as his wife! Initially she was very much against the idea but being persuaded by Zephyr and Elly both! Her two big sisters!

She ultimately gave in to the temptation! Accepting herself as his third wife!!

Nevertheless Selina responded in affirmation with a meek nod! Whereas Black!! – He couldn't help but find her actions cute and adorable!!
