Blade of the Goddess-Chapter 230
Chapter 230: Chapter 230
Zion flew back home and immediately headed to his lab. There, he went over his notes, war strategies, information gathered by his people, and the overall plans that he had to take over the world.
One thing Zion made sure of was to keep his weapons and technology always in production. This way, he would have the latest gadgets for when the time was needed. His engineers already had a whole book of everything he wanted built, and even if they went through the entire book, they had access to Tessa’s database, which had more things for them to do.
"Tessa, tell whoever is stationed in Cernunnos to activate the super dome. The time for them to join the holy kingdom has begun."
[Message sent.]
"Good. Next up, tell whoever is stationed in Nidavellir to prepare for my arrival. Once I’m finished with Cernunnos, Nidavellir will be my next stop."
[And Hylaea?]
"My mother is keeping them occupied. But once I’m done with Nidavellir, I will go to their lands."
[They will definitely put up a fight. Dragons are prideful creatures, and they don’t like it when other people try to take what belongs to them. Are you sure you can handle them?]
"I can take on their strongest dragon."
[Their divine apostle?]
"Probably. With the ancient relics, definitely."
[And your people?]
"They’re training in the fracture right now. I’m sure some of them will be done by the time we face the dragons. I’ve given them a month and a half. That’s almost 45 days, which will be 45 years in the fracture. If they don’t reach the True Mystic Stage in damn near 45 years, then they need to change career paths."
[Seems like you have everything planned out.]
"I had everything planned out already, that’s why things go smoothly when we don’t have trouble. Recently, with all this demon and angel activity, my plans had to be adjusted. But now, after becoming this strong, I can finally go back to my original plans."
[And after that?]
"Collect all the ancient relics, learn Authorities, have Lilith control the demon world, take over the angelic world, then kill the gods. Simple. Oh, and devils, I guess."
[That’s surprising. Do you not plan on becoming a primordial after hearing the type of power beings of that level have?]
"Honestly, no, not really. While I do wish to become powerful, I don’t think I need to strive for that level, at least for right now. If the time comes, then sure, but for the moment, I’m fine."
"Master? Master, can you hear me? I have completed your task. Do you have any other orders you wish for me to enact?" One of Zion’s men asked over the communication line.
"Yeah. There should be a demon named Orvyn. I don’t know what they look like; however, that demon is there to steal the ancient relic. If you can, I want you to find and capture them. I’ll be arriving soon."
"Yes, master."
Zion hung up and gathered his things to leave.
"You aren’t going without me, are you?" Lidia asked, leaning on the door frame.
"You can tag along," Zion answered.
"Cool. Lacey, Ginger, Aurora, and Alice are all coming as well. We spent the past few years in your fracture, and we’ve gotten a lot stronger."
Zion was curious. He knew he hadn’t seen them in a little bit, mainly because he was in the demon world, but he did wonder where they were.
"How strong are we talking?" He asked, a smirk creeping onto his face.
"Oh, I don’t know?" She teased, showing off her strength, which peaked at the Mystic stage.
Zion was impressed. He knew people would have an easier time breaking through because of the sheer amount of dense mana in his fracture, which was infinite. They also didn’t have to convert negative mana into positive mana like he did, which was definitely a factor in the amount of time it took for her and the others to reach that stage. Combine this with his mana method, and you’ll have talented people reaching the peak of the mystic stage within twenty years if they started from scratch.
"Woah, you really worked hard. I’m impressed"
She frowned. "Impressed? That’s all? I expected you to be a little more excited, to be honest."
He sighed, walking over to Lidia to embrace her. "Sorry, I’ve just been under a lot of stress lately."
Her brows furrowed. "You get stressed?"
"Nah, not really. It’s just that everything is moving so fast and not at the pace I want things to go. Like, I got to fight for Lilith in the demon world while also helping her take it over, then I have to prepare for some god killing machine that will come after me. I also have to finish taking over the other kingdoms, and after all of that, the gods are still waiting for me. I just want to sleep, but duty calls, I guess."
"Aww, my poor baby. Tell you what. After the middle world is ours, me and the girls will give you the best time of your life."
Zion’s eyes lit up. Full of excitement, he grabbed her by the hips and lifted her into the air. "You promise? No take backs!"
"Haha! I promise, I promise! Now put me down."
Before leaving, Zion decided to spend some quality time with Lidia for a bit. He truly missed her presence and loved it when she was around. There was something about her that made him calm and collected.
Together, they reminisced about the ’old days’, referring to a year ago when they were still in school and Zion wasn’t traveling to different realms. They caught up on each other’s current lives, and because of how much Zion was working, he longed for Lidia more than he realized.
Because of the time constraint, they decided to only make out for a bit, but they knew what would happen once they had time to spare.
After about an hour of hanging out, Zion got up and headed to the aircraft hangar, where everyone was waiting for him.
They all boarded the jet and took off for the Beastmen Kingdom.
