Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates-Chapter 215: Impending Doom

Jimmy had a lot on his plate today. Likewise, he hated the idea that he had to deal with invaders again, right at this moment, when he couldn’t afford to dedicate even an hour of time to fight them off!

There were tens of shapeshifters depending on him, people who he made a lot of promises to, so he was praying to whatever God that was listening, that the enemy wasn’t going to attack his tribe tonight! He was praying that they were as dumb today as they had been a few days ago, and hadn’t learned how to develop battle tactics.

If the enemy was approaching from that one spot near the west hills where the rocky mountains met an end, then his tribe was in big trouble! There wasn’t nearly enough time to prepare a defensive counterattack, but he wasn’t planning to take the potential attack laying down either. He wanted to have some sort of an edge against any possible threat!

For that matter, as he rushed through the home cavern, riding a Compy clone, he met with Zik, and caught him up with what was going on, and what he suspected.

Zik didn’t wait to be taught what to do. The moment he was told what to expect, he started yelling at youngsters and middle-aged people alike, preparing them for the worse!

Afterwards, he went outside, and yelled at the dinosaurs, clones or not. He positioned them across the mountainside, and especially across the steel-enforced walkway, so they could act as the first line of defense against the potential invaders! He hated to put the tribe’s actual pets at risk, but the situation demanded it.

"I hope you don’t have to fight for us tonight," He sighed.

Within the cavern, Jimmy didn’t waste any time either. He found Mika, and had her follow him in the bunker.

Ideally, he would want to bring Anna along with him, and teach her how to work the Cloner, but she hadn’t returned from the Salt Hunt yet, and he couldn’t risk waiting around for her to come back either. Besides, Mika already knew how to work the Cloner, and he needed her down there for one reason alone.

Mika had no Compy clone to ride, but she was very athletic, so she could keep up with Jimmy no problem. While he used a clone to go through the thousand-foot long staircase that led down to the bunker, just so he wouldn’t tire himself senseless, or waste time, Mika beamed through the staircase, and even outran the clone after some point! She did not get tired, as after all, she hadn’t done much all day, and has had all the time to relax. She was well rested, ready for disasters.

Anyway, once they made it down to the bunker, they headed to the cloning room, and Jimmy stepped into the Container where his DNA was stored, which was container number two. He told Mika that she had to ’save’ his DNA again, and essentially, she was making a check-point for him to use today, and perhaps in the future.

He could not explain it, but he had this impending sense of doom looming above his shoulders. Perhaps it was because there was a lot on his plate right now, but still, he could not shake the sense that he was going to die soon, for whatever random reason, and he did not want to forget everything he learned, and everything that had happened over these past few days. Especially the events of today! 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Mika proved quite useful on the matter.

Once Jimmy stepped into the container, she filled it with that odd liquid, put him to sleep, and then destroyed Jimmy’s body.

This would scare inexperienced people shitless, but they knew what they were doing.

This was the best way to save his DNA. She saved the ’checkpoint’ the moment she blew him up, and afterwards, as she materialized him again by pressing the appropriate button, she then drained the liquid from the container, and set him free.

"Thanks," He said, "Can’t explain, but I couldn’t risk unlearning a lot of what happened today."

"No worries, sweetie," She said, and then asked, "Do you need me for anything else?"

"Yes," He said, "Stay with me. I’m about to clone myself, and I need you here in case shit goes wrong. You know how defensive I can be when I feel that I’m in danger."

"I’ve heard the stories," She nodded, "Do what you have to do."

Within a minute, Jimmy made a clone of himself. It was as simple as pressing a couple of buttons, which was a great example of how powerful the technology in front of them was, but then again, the hard part was yet to come!

While the clone was asleep, he had to essentially reshape parts of its brain, its memories, so the clone, or in this case, his ’twin brother’ that he promised to bring over to the shapeshifters, wouldn’t be a danger to anyone important, regardless of where he was.

This was going to take some tweaking, as he essentially had to edit today’s memories, most of all, so the ’twin’ would be helpful towards the shapeshifters, and other than that, he wanted to make sure that his clone wouldn’t lay a ’claim’ over Jimmy’s girlfriends.

Ideally he wanted to lobotomize the clone all together, and wipe out all of its memories, but he feared that wouldn’t work out well, on account to the fact that the clone would also forget how to use his unique magical abilities.

This process was going to blow up all of the mana that Jimmy accumulated, but he believed that it was for a good cause!

Thankfully, the three hour long sprint home gave him time to regain some of his mana. He was up at forty-five percent now, which wasn’t ideal, as he would prefer a full mana pool, but it might be just enough to fix the clone up properly!

"Let’s hope this works out well..." He grunted, as he tapped into the clone’s heartbeat. "This is starting to look like a recipe for disaster... but let’s hope I don’t fuck it up. I do not want to hunt myself down anytime soon."
