Chapter 993: Chapter 993 Dreams

"The Blood Continent is a place of both danger and wonder. Many expeditions have been made to gather riches and fame on that faraway land and yet so many lives has also been lost in consequence.

To this day, we have only an estimate on the number which ranges from a few millions to tens of millions all in all." The teacher paused here to let her words sink in.

She knew that she needed no introduction since the Blood Continent was one of the greatest mysteries that plagued the world today.

The populace was only 10 billion people but that land area conquered by humans would be akin to small pond in the middle of a dark red expanse.

From the satellites beyond the sky, this was the only color they could see from above that pictured the entirety of the world in crimson as if it was boiling in magma other than any element found in nature.

This was the reason why the continent was named as such.

Truth be told, this was only a cover since even the greatest technology could not find any success in revealing the true situation on the rest of the world.

"You have mentioned about the dangers of the Blood Continent on us, Madame Read. Can you tell us what it is?" One of the students asked after a time.

"Oh yes. The dangers. From the known records we have, all the survivors would say that they have battled against many monsters in the Blood Continent.

Most of them were evolved versions of the beasts in the wild. So far, no sentience can be gained from them. But... what if someday they could achieve that final step?

What if it would be their turn to they bring war into our shores? What if deeper into the Blood Continent are creatures that already know of our existence?

Should they treat us as food or would they disdain ever coming closer to us since they are indifferent to our struggles? These are all the questions that needed answering in the future.

I have hope that you... my students... shall help humanity usher into a brilliant age of discovery!" The teacher said passionately. It was obvious that this was also a dream of hers.

It was just sad to note that she was too weak to make any difference whatsoever. Thus, she entrusted this vision unto others more talented than herself.

Madame Read was a true heroine like all the other mentors that had come before her.

"Now let’s discuss the specifics about the most successful expeditions unto Blood Continent particularly on Monarch Phantom and company." The teacher continued and the time passed by quickly enough.

All the while, our bored gamer was carefully inspecting about the details on the said Blood Continent.

"Hmmm... They are interesting but not interesting enough to move me out of my game." Clark whispered as he scoured the red glow on that big expanse.

His teacher was indeed right in her conjecture that there are lots of sentient beings out there. Not only that, most of them were powerful existences also.

It was only fortunate that they were not fascinated to play outside of their comfort zones. It was akin to a king playing in a mountain of trash and more.

Our bored gamer was easy to get to the bottom of the mystery. He forgot about them all too easily since he neither cared nor have any investment in Blood Continent whatsoever.

He thought those mighty entities as mere garbage in his eyes.

"I should focus on how to make my life exciting instead." Clark mused inside. This was the reason why he had taken initiative to enroll in nen master classes in the first place.

"Should I make a new gaming company or perhaps a movie production capital on this world. This endeavor would siphon most of my time and make me busy.

It would take all the boredom in waiting for my Shadow Slave to finish its quest." Our good gamer smiled at his plans.

"Only losers choose. Let me do them both!" Clark was fired up at his ideas. He knew that he had to begin early in order to finish quickly in consequence.

He needed believable funding though and it would be too dull to just create money from thin air.

"SIGH!"

"What to do? I have to make hurdles for myself in order to make things interesting and fresh. This is foolish." Our bored gamer took a deep breath once more.

The class was done and he was still in complex thoughts about what he would do while waiting.

From his previous actions, nobody would dare mess with him since they would go home no longer intact that the prior day.

Some would miss their limbs and even private parts and so only a crazy person would provide anymore entertainment unto his person.

"Perhaps this was how the Elder God felt when he somehow toyed with fate and my life. It backfired on him so badly."

Clark realized and counted on the strategies on how he would take his revenge on that fucking elder god soon enough. Alas, this depressing thought was a mood killer indeed.

"SIGH!"

"What will be will be. I’ll just pretend or just go sleep to fast track time. Maybe I’ll just even create a clone to take my place. Hehehe." Our good gamer was making options from the getgo.

He would never go the same road with that elder god. To toy with anybody was definitely not on his list.

He would just go on kill them quickly than do anything morbid that was against his values and principles in the first place.

"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk."

"Being an immortal really has a few negative perks." Our avid gamer sighed for the umpteenth time before he whistled away towards home.

He dreamed to become a music composer but immediately crushed the dreams out of existence since he remembered that he had already done the exact same thing in the past.

It was hard to make new memories, our bored gamer realized.
