Bought For A Baby, Kept For A Lifetime-Chapter 315: Forever (The End)
A year later...
"Anne, what are you doing? The wedding’s about to start!" Jasmine’s voice echoed into the dressing room jolting Anne from her thoughts.
She glanced back at Jasmine and smiled,
"Coming."
She said and Jasmine strode into the room, dressed in a maroon red chic looking gown. It was a mermaid cut design that flattered every angle of her womanly figure, showing how her hips swayed as she walked.
"Oh my, you look gorgeous!" She exclaimed staring at Anne with awe.
She hadn’t seen Anne after she had fully worn the dress and the makeup artists had finished their jobs.
Anne was standing there like a vision stepped out of a fairytale. Everything around her seemed to fade to the brilliance of the gown she wore.
The dress cascaded around her in a brilliant sea of white, each layer shimmering like frost catching the first layer of dawn. The bodice hugged her figure with an elegance that felt both regal and fragile. Off the shoulder sleeves framed her collarbones where a delicate chocker of lace and crystal rested like a whisper of royalty around her neck. The voluminous skirt blossomed outward, adorned with folds and tulle ruffles that gave her the appearance of a blooming winter rose.
Jasmine could barely close her mouth. They had gone to see the dress when it had been custom made by the celebrity designer Andrew hired, but it looked even more magical on Anne now.
Anne smiled even brighter seeing Jasmine.
"And you look sexy, I think men will be all over you today." Anne replied.
Jasmine grinned slyly,
"I saw your husband earlier, he looks impatient, we need to get you to the wedding venue before he thinks someone stole his lovely bride."
Jasmine escorted Anne out of the dressing room, and they came downstairs to a bridal limousine waiting for her with a driver holding the doors open.
"Jass, where is Angela?" Anne asked before entering the car.
The little adorable girl had jumped into her uncle’s arms a long while ago calling for her Daddy repeatedly that Gabriel had no choice but to take her to find Andrew.
"Andrew took her to the venue with him, she wouldn’t let anyone else carry her." Jasmine informed before they both got into the car.
Anne thought about the day Andrew had suddenly proposed to her again.
’If we had followed the contract, you and I would be getting a divorce right about now right?’ Anne had once said to him conversationally while he had been sitting in the nursery playing with Angela.
’Actually, if you think about it logically, our marriage isn’t really legitimate yet. We got married as a deal and when the time expired we would go our separate ways, does it mean our marriage expired too? If that’s the case I’m no longer your wife.’ Anne had seen the panic that surfaced in Andrew’s eyes as she said that.
In truth she had said that as a joke, but who would have thought he would go on to prepare a lavish venue that very night to propose to her in front of so many people.
Anne giggled as she recalled the memory.
Jasmine stared into space her heart pounding, it had been about a year now, about a year since she had decided to face her past.
’Shawn...’
That night, she had seen him gently placing the flower at her doorstep, their eyes had met when he realized he was being watched, and quietly without saying a word, he had began to walk away, Jasmine had watched him go, her heart shattering all over again.
Her heart felt like it would explode in that moment, but she didn’t dare to go to him. She had prayed fervently, wished silently, perhaps her wish had come true, he had stopped abruptly, turned to her to ask,
’Do you still hate me Jasmine, do you still blame me?’
She had never blamed him, she had never hated him. All she knew was that she now hated herself.
With tears in her eyes she had shook her head frantically.
’I... I’m sorry.’ The words she’d been dying to say to him had burst forth.
’I’m sorry I blamed you when all you did was save me. I’m sorry I was horrible to you. I’m sorry for everything, I’m sorry...sorry...’
The apologies had come out of her repeatedly, but she knew they weren’t enough, even if she said them a hundred times...no a thousand, they still wouldn’t be enough.
When she looked at him again there had been so much relief in his eyes. Relief as if a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders.
From then on they had been friends, they would sit together and have casual chats, spend time together as friends who hung out together sometimes but they had never mentioned their past. Today, Jasmine wanted things to change.
She had ended their relationship so heartlessly, she wanted to be the one to start it again.
The whole of Verizon wished to witness the wedding of the decade, it was a public remarriage between a couple who hadn’t made their relationship public at the time they had first gotten married.
The high and mighty in Verizon who were privileged enough to attend the wedding were awed.
Meredith Keys, a famous movie star had gotten married summer of this year and her wedding had been termed the wedding of the year, but even her wedding couldn’t be compared to this event.
The wedding hall gave the word opulence a new meaning.
It was like a fairytale oasis when the bride walked through the doors, mouths fell open in awe. Eyes following her with every single step.
Andrew stood at the altar awaiting his bride whom he would wed for the second time now, but this time he was doing it right, this time, the world could witness her becoming his.
The first time Anne had walked into his space it was in his home office at the Black Thorn Manor, at that time there had been a firmly determined look in her beautiful eyes.
He heard the gasps that resounded when she entered, and when his gaze turned to her direction, his whole world stopped.
It was said that a groom watching his bride walk up to him at the altar was a man’s happiest moment.
Andrew had several happy moments he would cherish. From the days of watching his little Angela growing everyday, to everytime he made his wife smile, made her laugh.
He realized that life was beautiful, undoubtedly beautiful if a man had his own family. He carried a wounded heart all his life, and a woman who became his antidote walked into his life.
This woman walked down the aisle towards him, elegantly beautiful, breathtaking in every way.
When she placed her hand in his own he guided her to stand beside him. Memories flashed into his head from the very beginning.
The first time he’d heard her laughter and felt captivated.
The first time he’d kissed her and felt his whole world overturn.
The first time he fell asleep next to her and felt like he had something he’d been missing out on his whole life.
The first time he made love to her and he felt like he could never ever touch another woman again.
The first time he laid eyes on their beautiful daughter.
There were so many firsts with her that filled his heart.
His vision suddenly blurred as she stared at her for a long time. The marriage licensor speaking officiating words that blurred away to the radiance in her eyes which captivated him.
Every beat of his heart made something beautiful swell with a reverence so deep it felt like a sacred vow itself.
She was his redemption.
He understood now what it meant to have the second half of one’s soul.
"Andrew, you’re the sanctuary I’ve always longed for, my most unexpected joy, the love of my life. I promise to be your home in every storm, your laughter in the quiet moments, and the keeper of your heart, always."
When Anne said her vows, her sweet voice was like music to his ears. Every word, a vow that would never be broken.
In this life he’d found her, she’d found him...
"Annelise, you are the light that found it’s way through every crack of my armor. Before you, every moment of my life was focused on victories, reaching for unbeatable heights yet I was drowning in the silence. You became everything I never knew I needed. I promise to spend everyday earning your love, being worthy of you, I promise to be the man who makes you smile like this every single day. You are my greatest asset and my only eternity."
Many who heard these vows were clueless to the deep history that brought the couple here, but something about it touched hearts deeply.
They slid wedding rings with engravings of each other’s names on one another’s fingers warmly.
"You may now kiss your wife." The officiant said.
Slowly, Andrew lifted her veil, his eyes reverent as he stared at her. His thumbs, brushing away happy tears that slid down her lovely cheeks.
He brushed his lips to hers sweetly, tenderly, like a perfect seal of the profound love he felt for her.
The audience who witnessed the wedding spread pictures with beautiful terms of,
#CEO found the love of his life#
#Anne and Andrew, couple of the year#
#Love is beautiful, an unforgettable wedding#
Later that night, in the enormous honeymoon suite.
"Andrew, we were married once before, we don’t need to follow the rules of the wedding night. I’m going to sleep."
Anne said before disappearing under the sheets, but the man peeled off the sheets she hid under, his lips hungrily descended upon her. Kissing her with such fervent hunger that her insides melted into a puddle of sweetness.
"But I haven’t given you the full experience of a wedding night yet." He whispered after he kissed her. Her lips already reddened from the force of his love bite.
His kisses rained through every part of her, from the tip of her nose, cheeks, chin, neck, then her collarbones to her chest where he paid special attention, toying with her erogenous spots, licking and sucking then moved down to her abdomen. It felt like he was worshipping every inch of her skin.
Her body started to shudder lightly.
When his lips reached the end of her abdomen, she couldn’t help but close her legs trying to push him away, she knew what he was doing to her and he knew very well what would make her melt into the abyss of pleasure, he strongly grasped her legs pushing his head down further.
Her whole body shuddered, he didn’t miss a single spot as his tongue teased her repeatedly, bringing her to the brink of ecstasy, the varying pressure of his tongue making her almost burst with heat until soft pleas escaped her lips.
By the time he finally thrust into her body, Anne gave a low cry. It was as if the man had tossed every alms of control out the window, plunging into her body over and over again, hitting the deepest parts yet still not stopping, as if he wanted to mold their bodies into one.
Anne clung to his shoulders, like a helpless child synchronizing with him.
In the end, she couldn’t tell if she was alive or dead, only feeling that blissful rush of electrifying and intense pleasure like shockwaves throughout her whole body causing her to convulse repeatedly.
Every one of his movements were deep, so fierce yet there was no pain, only intense pleasure and satisfaction. She was panting by the time he finished fiercely inside her.
Anne collapsed on the bed, while Andrew reached for her hands, entwining her fingers tenderly in his own. His hands felt so warm as if something sweet was transferring from his palm to her own, he lowered his head to kiss her lovingly, tenderness translated in every way his lips moved against her own.
Several minutes later, she found out he wasn’t done with her just yet. The more he tried to lift her hips, the more she resisted, curling into the sheets seductively, and the more she coyly resisted, the hungrier he was for her.
In the end he turned her around entering her from behind. This position brought them closer, her toes curled and her fingers clenched around the sheets as she let out a drawled moan. He kissed the skin on her back and transversed into another bout of uncontrollable movement.
When it finally ended, he remained atop her, showering sweet, passionate and tenderly warm kisses all over her skin.
Spent and exhausted she shifted beneath him and turned herself over, reaching up to bite his chin playfully. He retaliated which led them to round over round of passionate kissing that only broke off when they were both about to suffocate.
He held her really close after that, slowly in her state of sleepiness she murmured to him,
"I love you, Andrew. I always will."
He smiled, a rush of delight filling him. This wasn’t the first time she was telling him she loved him, but every single time she did, it made his whole heart tremble with sweetness.
"I love you too, Annelise, more than words can say." He loved her, but those words weren’t enough to tell her how deep his feelings for her went.
"If we went back in time, would you still love me?" She asked with a light and playful note to her voice.
"I would love you over and over again. And even in another lifetime, I would still find you and make you mine. You were meant to be mine, just as I was meant to be yours."
Anne smiled and relaxed.
"So it was destiny." She murmured before falling asleep.
Life had its own ways of bringing us to our destinies. Sometimes, the people we hate, turn out to be the ones we’ll love the most, and the ones we love, might end up being the ones we’ll hate deeply.
Anne and Andrew had met under the most unfavorable circumstances, but they both became each other’s fulfilment, each other’s strength, completed each other in places the other lacked.
True love was hurting for someone, longing for someone, healing with someone when something broke, over time as the years went by they grew stronger together.
Anne appeared on multiple billboard ads for brands who persistently reached out to her, over time she became a household name, traveling for international shoots but no matter how busy she was, she would eagerly rush home to her loving husband and adorable little angel who filled her daily life with happiness.
A few months later, Jasmine and Shawn announced their official relationship, the past had tied them together forcefully but this time they chose to take it slow, getting to know each other and dating like every normal couple.
After two years of dating, Jasmine waited patiently for him to pop the question but he seemed a bit slow, so she took matters into her own hands.
When he watched her suddenly go on one knee to propose to him, Shawn was shocked at the same time delighted,
"I thought you wouldn’t want to get married again." He admitted, he had been dying to propose to her again from the moment they got together, but something inside him was afraid of scaring her away with the idea of marriage, so he accepted what he had, loving her everyday while stopping his heart from being greedy to want to make her his wife again.
A year after that, they welcomed a beautiful little girl of their own. It was also the same year Kristen was awarded the monarch of modern technology, selling his newly created infinity car design, a vehicle with the ability to be flown manually or automatically by its driver. Which caused huge waves all over the world.
Anne found herself staring at double lines on a pregnancy test report several months later when she noticed her period skipped, turns out she was indeed pregnant.
She decided to keep the news as a cute surprise for Andrew, unexpectedly he found the test result in the bathroom bin while Anne was asleep then went on to create a surprise celebration for her which she woke up to the next morning.
"Congratulations, Mrs Sterling!" The household staff all happily expressed their congratulations to her.
Andrew picked her up in his arms and twirled her around happily, then kissed her so many times till she felt dizzy.
"Thank you, Annelise, for coming into my life."
From then on, every moment they spent together was filled with happiness.
Forever was a single word, but it was years and years of togetherness that would never end.
