Building An Empire Starting From The Labor Camp In Exile-Chapter 328: Assemble
Slya wasn’t that worried that Atrox got his hands on a Demon to help. It is Atrox, after all.
What she was surprised about was the fact that she had never worked with a Demon before, and she didn’t know how they would go.
How will it... they even look like?
She’s more worried about how her men will react.
She turned to Astra. "Go and inform them that we will be expecting a guest directly from the Clan leader, and I want them to be on their most friendly manner."
"A guest? Here in this place? How will they reach here in the desert, not to talk of our ship? Are we picking them up, or how do you...?"
"What’s that?"
Something flew in from the sky, covered in a green glow just like the letter earlier, but this time, this one had the shape of a man. The Bind Sky burst into motion at once. They swung their weapons around and got ready to fight, ready for their commander’s order.
But she remained silent, and when she gave her orders, it wasn’t what they were expecting.
"Shield down!"
Everyone jerked in surprise. Shield down? How? Why? What’s happening?
But no one questioned her. She is the commander.
The shield went down, and the human figure covered in green light jumped atop the deck of the ship.
Slya tensed, expecting to see a Demon, but she was surprised when she saw that the person she was looking at looked just like an ordinary person—but with a very big hat.
He bowed. "I am Tong... Enchanter of Lord Atrox."
Slya blinked. This is the Demon? How powerful is he? I can’t feel anything.
She bowed her head in return. "I am the Captain of this place. You can locate the capital?"
He nodded. "With time, yes. Please, just do as you normally do... I will just... sit right here and do what I must."
And then, with all of them watching, the man sat cross-legged and went still. Just like that.
Slya turned to Astra to confirm that she was actually seeing what she was seeing. Then she shrugged. "We’ll wait here. Put the ship on standby. We won’t move until he’s done. And don’t disturb him."
It turned out to be an extremely long wait for her. The man in question was like a carved stone for all he did. The only thing that Slya felt was that the flow of essence in the area seemed to bend towards him, as if he created a funnel above him.
But after three days, her wait seemed to be complete because the man stood up as if nothing had happened.
"I have the location of the capital."
Slya stiffened when she heard that, and a wild joy took over her body. This was something she’d been searching for, something entrusted to her directly by Atrox himself.
"How? Let’s head in right now. We must claim and destroy the throne!"
Her blood was shimmering with the idea of fighting after a long time of doing nothing.
Tong shook his head. "I’m afraid it’s not that simple. The reason the capital hasn’t been found all this while is because it’s in an isolated space with small cracks running through it. I will widen such cracks to allow us entry, but it will take a while. And in the meantime, I must inform my lord."
☆☆☆
Atrox was sitting in his tent when he suddenly jerked upright.
"It is time."
For the past days, they’d been fighting the Akatsuki. They hadn’t gone all out, but their two sides had been clashing every day.
All the while, Atrox waited for the news from Tong—and it finally came. It meant they must distract Eirikr while they attacked and took control of the throne.
"Call them all," Atrox ordered.
And soon, those who would be doing the distraction were all gathered.
Atrox himself and his two guards, Tiber and Eryndor. Takoda and Valtor.
And then two chiefs, Terrix Choxa and Terrix Choxa.
Five Master Knights. The most powerful weapons in the Eastern army at such a time.
"I don’t know how long we need to fight, but we will be fighting until we are done," Atrox said. "There is no plan. Just cause as much chaos as you can and try not to die. And keep Eirikr from thinking."

Eirikr was sitting atop the wall, on a portion that hadn’t been torn down. His eyes were turned down, and his hand rubbed the black drake that was coiled around him.
"This land will belong to me, and this time, I won’t let the desert have its way."
The drake purred in reply.
Eirikr shook his head. "It’s truly a pity. The Soryu Clan has fallen so low and so fast. The reason I’ve not crushed them yet is because I was wary they might have some tricks I’ve not seen yet, because even a toothless tiger is still a tiger.
"But it seems I worried for nothing. Time to tear them down and take what I’ve been planning for all this..."
A sound like the howling of wind tore through the air. The sound was like a blade tearing through metal. It screeched against the ear in a jarring way.
Eirikr sat up and frowned. "What is..."
Then he saw it—a stone ball that was as big as a house blasted through the shield that was protecting Eirikr’s side. The ball slammed into the wall and crumbled, but from within, seven people jumped out.
Directly in front of Eirikr.
Everything seemed to slow down. Eirikr realized that five of them were Master Knights, and fear made him jerk upright. At the same time, all the Master Knights in the army turned toward the aura and began to go toward their master.
Meanwhile, Atrox’s group had begun their fight.
Helena Varrow had blurred forward and was instantly in front of Eirikr. Her muscles trembled and shook as she punched him in the chest, sending him back like a kicked ball.
The fight began. The Akatsuki Clan and the Soryu Clan had officially begun!
