Building My SSS-Rank Universal Empire: From Trash to Cosmic Overlord-Chapter 300: Just Ice?
"So what do you think about him now?" Vale asked when Svenjar left with his Master Knight. ππ£πππ ππππ¨π―ππ.ππ¨π
Slya snorted. "He looks like a harmless kid, but heβs dangerous. Heβs a knight, after all. But I believe him when he said he has no interest in politics. Itβll be interesting if he could join you."
"I doubt I can get him to join me. The Akatsuki issue will be a real mess. What about you, Eryndor?"
His personal Master Knight guard shrugged. "Well, what I trusted him about is the Akatsuki throne that he told us about. Itβs truly fascinating, and I donβt think heβs telling any lies. What I think, though, is that heβs holding back, but that might just be because heβs not told enough."
Vale nodded firmly. "His father knew he was coming here. What he told us was something his father thought wasnβt important enough. But Iβm glad heβll be leaving our territory with no issues. That will give us a little time to prepare.
"Tell Valtor nothing must happen to him till he is behind the eastern wall."

The next morning, Svenjar left as planned. Vale didnβt see him off. He only sent his good wishes through Valtor, who would be seeing to his protection till the end.
The person most happy for the departure was Valtor. Although at first, he had thought it a disrespect that Vale allowed him to visit in the first place. And when the idea came that he wanted to challenge the Clan leader, Valtor nearly spit blood.
He wasnβt happy at all. But then, when the event turned out the way it did, he couldnβt help but hesitantly be happy and glad. He was amazed and proud of the power that Vale showed. Fortunately for Valtor, he was too loyal to bet against Vale. So the earned coins were a great bonus.
But he would be more happy to have the enemy behind their wall. Especially the Master Knight woman.
He gently followed behind the carriage that carried Svenjar and the Master Knight woman, floating above as he manipulated the gravity.

In the Akatsuki Desert, its Clan leader was sitting on a black drake that spread its wings and was flying above the vast desert. In front of him was a sand tray, and as he watched, the sands arranged themselves.
"My Lord. I have no chance to kill the Young Master. The challenge that was issued ended in utter defeat of Young Master Svenjar. With the security set in place, thereβs no way to carry out my plan.
"As you expected, the Young Master let out about the Akatsuki throne."
Eirikr shook his head sadly. "Alright. You can return. You did well."
The sand tray became disorganized once again.
Eirikr frowned slightly. "Svenjar lost? Now that wasnβt what I was expecting. Although he is a meathead compared to my other children, his strength is undeniable. He is powerful.
"I wonder, is this Vale Athrimir that strong? To be able to defeat Svenjar, then he must be. Not bad for a Clan leader, I guess. I missed the opportunity to declare war this time, but why the hurry? The Athrimir Clan is well in my hands already. Itβs just the talk of when Iβm going to attack."
Eirikr leaned forward to rub the back of the drake, and with a gentle tap, the animal whirled to the side, its powerful wings carrying it forward like an arrow made of hurricane.

Commander Petel met them when they reached the eastern army, and she led them through the remaining journey towards the wall.
They walked politely behind the carriage with her unit, all armoured men marching in unison.
"I heard all about the festival. I was even able to place my bet from here. If I was with Svenjar, then I would have advised him not to fight with Vale."
"Youβve seen him fight before?" Valtor asked.
"Their lieutenant, all in the Errant Rank, all very powerful like me. They fought him at the same time."
"And the result?" he asked.
"He killed them, turned them to ashes. It was brutal and merciless. I canβt wait for him to reach the Master Knight. I canβt imagine how powerful he would be then."
Valtor nodded. His shoulders relaxed a bit. Maybe the future of their Clan was in the right hands after all.
When they reached the gate, the carriage slowed to a crawl. Large enchanted tools that hung on the wall like angry birds turned their blazing heads towards the carriage.
Commander Petel touched the necklace on her neck and whispered some words. "You can proceed. You wonβt be hurt."
The carriage continued, and from the wall, a small part glowed with a blue sheen. Then a gate-sized door suddenly appeared where they would pass through.
Valtor sighed when he saw the carriage headed towards the opening. "Finally."
It was then that it happened.
Almost at the same time, all the enchanted tools that were set on the wall began to blare warning sounds. They turned bright red, and a formation shield rose up like a net covering.
Commander Petel tensed like a strung wire. The necklace on her neck glowed a deep red, and her eyes widened. "Something is trying to destroy a portion of our wall!"
She began to whisper spells, the slit in her eyes glowing with yellow light.
At the same time, the carriage froze, and the two occupants came out to check what was happening. The Master Knight was looking around as if she sensed something.
Valtor locked on Svenjar immediately, his orders ringing in his head. He began to move towards the young Master.
But he didnβt make it. A portion of the wall was blown apart in an explosion of... ice! Chunks of ice spears as big as Valeβs tower ripped into the wall and tore straight through.
"Impossible! Just ice?" Commander Petel stared with unbelievable eyes. Someone just destroyed the wall with ice?
But she soon saw that it was not ordinary ice.
