Chapter 21: Family Meeting [ 4 ]

"Humm! Brother, what about Aunt Margaret? Aren't you going to assign her a company to establish?"Ashley asked, curiosity lighting up her eyes as she glanced at Arthur.

The room fell silent, with Julian and the others sharing puzzled looks while Margaret herself looked at Arthur, confusion evident in her expression.

"Aunt, don't worry! I have a different job for you," Arthur reassured her with a warm glance. "I'll fill you in later."

"Okay, Arthur!" Margaret replied with a smile that brightened the atmosphere.

Turning his attention back to his cousins, Arthur added, "As for the rest of you, please hold on for just a moment while I wrap up some details here. Then I'll come to each of you."

All of them nodded in understanding and smiles spread across their faces.

Arthur then focused on his first uncle Julian. "First Uncle, you're in charge of Osborn Technology and its nine subsidiaries. But let's start by establishing six key ones:

1. Osborn Devices - This will handle production of smartphones, laptops, tablets, and wearables.

2. Osborn Software Solutions - Tasked with developing operating systems and productivity software.

3. Osborn Cloud Services - Responsible for cloud storage and computing solutions.

4. Osborn CyberDefense - Focused on cybersecurity software and data protection solutions.

5. **Osborn Semiconductors** - Dedicated to producing advanced chips and processors.

6. **Osborn IoT Solutions** - Developing smart devices and connected home systems."

Julian listened intently, his expression serious as he absorbed the information.

"Here," Arthur said as he handed Julian a sleek black USB flash drive. "All the details about Osborn Technology are stored here. As for the remaining three subsidiaries, we'll add them once the foundation stabilizes."

Julian accepted the flash drive with both hands as if it were a priceless treasure. "Don't worry, Arthur; I won't let you down," he promised earnestly.

"I trust you will," Arthur smiled before turning to his second uncle Nathaniel.

"Second Uncle," he began seriously, "you're in charge of Osborn Real Estate & Construction Group which includes ten subsidiaries:

1. Osborn Homes- Developing luxury apartments and gated communities.

2. Osborn Towers - Managing iconic office buildings and retail spaces.

3. Osborn Infrastructure- Constructing highways and public facilities."

Arthur paused to gauge Nathaniel's reaction before continuing with confidence: "I won't delve into details about the other subsidiaries; all necessary information is on this flash drive." He handed it over.

"Don't worry; I'll make our real estate company powerful," Nathaniel vowed solemnly as he received it.

Arthur nodded thoughtfully before turning to his third uncle, Richard. With a swift motion, he pulled out a flash drive and handed it over. "Third Uncle, you're now in charge of the Osborn Supply Chain Group, which includes ten subsidiaries. I won't go into all the details right now; everything you need is on this flash drive."

Richard smiled warmly as he accepted the device, nodding appreciatively at Arthur.

Next, Arthur turned to his second aunt Emily with a bright smile. "Aunt Emily, you're taking the helm of the Osborn Media & Entertainment Group. This encompasses six subsidiaries and fifteen divisions! Your role is crucial; you are essentially the voice of our family in the entertainment industry."

He presented her with another flash drive, his tone growing serious. "I have a significant task for you: within one to three years, I want us to dominate at least 50%, ideally 80%, of the entertainment market in the Aurelian Federation. We need to establish our presence first in Neo-Luminara's news media and platforms. Can you handle that?"

"Don't worry, Arthur," Emily replied confidently, her expression resolute as she took the flash drive. "I won't let you down."

"Good! I'm counting on you," Arthur said with an encouraging smile.

He then turned to Ashley, handing her yet another flash drive. "Ash, you're responsible for the Osborn Fashion and Cosmetics Group, which also has ten subsidiaries under its wing. This is a big responsibility for someone fresh out of school, but I believe in your potential! Take it step by step; if you run into any challenges that seem insurmountable, don't hesitate to reach out for help from the others or come directly to me."

Ashley beamed back at him. "Don't worry about me! I graduated with first-class honors in Business Administration and plan to pursue my master's and PhD soon!"

Arthur chuckled softly and shook his head before finally addressing Philip.

"Uncle Philip," he called gently.

Philip straightened up immediately, his expression shifting from casual to serious as emotions flickered across his face.

Though he had married into the Osborn family but he had often been sidelined during important discussions and now being included in this meeting filled him with pride and gratitude.

"Uncle Philip," Arthur continued earnestly, "you will oversee Osborn Capital, the financial backbone of our family businesses. Your role is vital; if your side falters, so does everything we've built together. The Osborn Capital is the most important of the family business nothing must happen to it" His gaze was intense as he emphasized each word.

For a moment, Philip was taken aback but quickly regained his composure. "Arthur," he promised fervently, "I swear on my life that I won't let you down! I'll do everything within my power to grow Osborn Capital."

His eyes sparkled with emotion, a mix of excitement and gratitude, as Margaret smiled lovingly at him from beside.

"Good, I trust you can handle this," Arthur said with a nod, handing over a flash drive. "All the information you need is right here."

Taking a deep breath, Arthur turned to his cousins and declared, "As members of the Osborn Family, we're born into a legacy. From the moment you enter this family, you're destined for one of two paths: business or politics. So now it's time to choose"

Julian and the others exchanged curious glances, their eyes shifting toward their seven of them.

All of them had solemn faces as they looked at George and the others but they were also quite surprise by what Arthur said.

They don't know why he added this rule but this is not the time to ask.
