By Seeing Beasts' Training Paths, My Beast Became Invincible-Chapter 33: Rule-breaking
Behemoth rushed forward at an incredible speed, directing its horns toward Rocky... a speed that Rocky barely caught in time with his perception.
Rocky summoned a massive shield and raised it ahead to block Behemoth’s blow. In an instant, an impact echoed throughout the arena. Behemoth’s strike was so strong that it knocked Rocky far away, sending a terrifying aftershock through his body.
(It hurts quite a bit.)
Rocky groaned while regaining his balance, preparing for the next move.
Jeff yelled maniacally in euphoria as his beast gained the upper hand in the first clash.
’’HAHAHAHAHA! ATTACK THAT TRASH FOR ME!’’
Rocky lunged at the beast, slamming it with his shield, but he didn’t stop. He continued to bash his shield into it again and again. The relentless pressure Rocky put on Behemoth caused the beast to be stunned.
Behemoth let out a deafening roar before stomping on the ground — in the blink of an eye, the earth trembled, and countless spikes emerged around the beast.
Startled, Rocky flinched as the earth spikes shot toward him at high speed. He took a few steps back, but the spikes still chased him, as if a tidal wave was swallowing the shore.
In the last movement, he leapt into the air before landing outside Behemoth’s range.
The beast lunged at Rocky again with its sharp horns, yet this time there was something different.
Rocky evaded the blow in time.
Jeff’s eyes widened in bewilderment.
’’Im-Impossible!’’
Just a few minutes earlier, Rocky had barely managed to dodge that attack, but now he did it easily.
That was illogical. His beast possessed a speed that none in the world could evade. After all, its [Crushing Charge] skill was said to move at a speed on par with light.
’’Again! He’s just lucky.’’
This time, Behemoth even raised earth walls around them, narrowing the space so Rocky couldn’t dodge properly.
Yet, Rocky did it again.
He dismissed his shield and dragged his massive longsword as he charged at Behemoth.
He cut the earth spikes into pieces and followed with a series of precise slashes toward the enemy.
His movements were swift, almost like he was dancing through the spikes. In the final exchange, he ended up just one meter away from the beast.
Rocky smirked and began his torturement
(Beasts’ thoughts are always simple to predict.)
The strongest beasts always had a major flaw — they were too strong. And because of that, they never changed their combat style.
Why would they need to change? One blow was enough to win.
Rocky had perfectly calculated the moment Behemoth entered the stance to perform its skill. The stance was complicated, but that wasn’t a big issue for him.
Humans had analytical ability. Beasts didn’t.
He had the advantage in this match.
(Tch, you should train your beast more.)
Was that the flaw of beast tamers who started with the strongest beasts? He wondered.
He made dozens of fatal blows to the beast’s body, but thanks to [Basic Regeneration], its wounds quickly recovered.
Behemoth roared in rage while suffering countless wounds. Even with the [Basic Regeneration] skill, the pain was real.
The beast tried to use its horns again, but Rocky cut them down with a single slash.
The next moment, he unleashed a gigantic flame from his maw, blanketing Behemoth’s head. The beast roared in agony, struggling to extinguish the flames.
Rocky leapt into the air and delivered a brutal kick to Behemoth’s chest, sending it skidding across the floor before crashing into the arena wall like a ragged puppet.
Behemoth staggered out of the pile of rubble, revealing its current state—nothing but a bald body.
The flames had completely burned its fur to ash.
With its once-mighty mane scorched and its horns severed, Behemoth looked pathetic, almost ridiculous.
Behemoth quickly recovered its original appearance thanks to its skill, yet the humiliation Rocky left it with turned its eyes bloodshot with fury.
Rocky chuckled and transformed his weapon into a steel hammer with a long handle.
When Behemoth charged at him, he instantly swung the massive hammer at its maw, shattering every one of its teeth.
The beast staggered, stunned by the pain. It shook its head to regain its vision, but the massive hammer slammed into its maw again, cracking its skull and jaw.
It collapsed, groaning in helplessness.
But Rocky didn’t stop.
He used his [Void Forging] again.
Then, he transformed his hammer into a bigger shape. He could tell that his hammer reached 100 tons at this moment.
His muscular hands bulged up, on par with the ancient goliara’s hands.
His roars tore through the air as he put his arm into stance.
He lifted it up and spun it many times before directing it to the sky, then brought it crashing down on Behemoth.
Bang!
Bang!
He battered Behemoth as if the beast was nothing more than hard grain of rice that needed to be processed and crushed into pieces.
The deafening roars of pain echoed nonstop through the arena, making the audience shiver unconsciously.
"Is it true...? A dream?" a noble frowned in disbelief.
"It’s real... sigh." another noble muttered.
"I never thought I’d live to see the day a beast from the Black Zone overpowers an ancient beast of a great clan."
Some nobles nodded.
Meanwhile, Ross’s face twisted in anger.
"It can’t be."
But the next moment, his expression slowly changed. He accepted the truth, but—
(We must kill that beast... A beast like that can’t be allowed to exist in this world.)
Rocky tightened his grip on the hammer, preparing for the final blow. He would crush Behemoth’s head into pieces.
Even if the beast had a skill like [Basic Regeneration], once it lost its head, it would be useless.
He raised the hammer into the air, but just as he was about to bring it down to finish the enemy—
Jeff seized the chance, interfered in the battle amongst the beasts, and kicked Rocky in the back, sending him tumbling across the ground several times before slamming into the arena wall.
Jeff spat in rage.
"How dare you, you filthy worm, try to kill my beast."
