By Seeing Beasts' Training Paths, My Beast Became Invincible-Chapter 99: Sadly
’’I have an omen.’’
Rocky frowned. He carefully held her up while asking in a soft voice.
’’What was it?’’
Alina hesitated for a moment, trying to remember the vision she had just seen.
A few seconds later, she answered in a serious voice.
’’We will be ambushed. A bloody battle will happen.’’
Rocky pressed his temples for a moment, trying to process the information. He lingered for a bit, then asked Alina again.
’’Anything else? Did you see the ambushers? Who are they?’’
Alina gritted her teeth in pain as she tightened her grip on Rocky’s hand, trying to recall it, but for some reason, her breath became ragged afterward.
She said, powerless.
’’I’m sorry.’’
Rocky sighed and patted Alina’s head. He forced a gentle smile and said,
’’You did very well.’’

Afterward, Rocky reminded everyone not to let their guard down during shifts. And he himself sometimes woke up at midnight to check the surrounding area.
Under Rocky’s orders, the troops didn’t dare to neglect even a second during their shifts. A few groups even scouted around the forest to make sure no enemies would attack at a vulnerable time.
But one day passed, and no sign of an ambush appeared.
And two days went by, still no sign of an ambush.
Over time, everyone began to doubt Rocky’s judgment. He was probably too careful, to the point everyone started calling him an overthinker.
Alina caught Rocky’s hand while speaking in a worried, careful voice.
’’I think sometimes my omen might not be right, so please, let’s take a rest. You’re starting to have dark circles under your eyes.’’
Ever since her omen, Rocky still hadn’t slept properly. Unconsciously, she blamed herself for taking his sleep away.
Rocky just blinked for a moment and patted Alina’s head as usual, comforting her anxiety. He raised the corner of his lips.
’’No need to worry. And don’t doubt yourself. You’re never wrong.’’
Rocky smirked as a few thoughts flashed through his mind. This situation had happened before.
It seemed the enemy wouldn’t attack as long as they stayed this alert. So instead, they were waiting for the troops to get drained from maintaining such a tense state.
(Scumbags.)
Rocky rubbed his chin for a moment, thinking about his plan while his other hand still patted Alina, who had just blushed after his earlier words.
A few days later.
Humans and the ancient races continued their journey, and when night came, they found a shelter as usual.
At this point, Rocky decided to let everyone sleep without keeping their alertness high anymore.
However, in reality, they were only pretending and would wake up at any moment, even if it was just an animal in the forest.
Rocky yawned for a long while, stretching his back.
He blinked for a moment, and suddenly, Matt and Bobby moved closer to him as if they wanted to say something.
Their eyes gleamed with the will to fight.
Rocky smirked before standing up.
He summoned the system screen.

Rocky chuckled as he patted his beasts in amusement. It had been a while since they were in the mood to slaughter.
Delighted, he stepped out of the tent along with his beasts. His movement was the signal for his troops to act.
They stepped out of the tents one by one.
Behind the bushes, the monsters and demons were caught off guard by the situation. One of them was still stunned when an arrow hit his chest, sending him skidding across the ground, dead.

Rocky lunged at ahead while roaring deafeningly.
’’ATTACK!’’
The forces from both sides lunged at each other in the snowy forest. Chaotic sounds resounded everywhere.

3 hours later.
Rocky dismissed his armor and weapons, then walked over to a tree and sat down. He blinked for a moment, ignoring everyone who was clearing the enemies’ corpses while summoning the system screen.

It wasn’t over yet.
[Your beast has developed its skill]
[Basic Gravity Dominion → Intermediate Gravity Dominion]
Rocky smirked while patting his beasts in comfort.
A few days later, they barely faced any monsters or ambushes. Their journey was quite easy.
And well, the time for the humans and the ancient races to go their separate ways was coming.
Ting!

Rocky hesitated for a moment before summoning the ranking board.

But what surprised Rocky at this moment, after checking the ranking board, was that aside from Scarlet still being at top 1, he didn’t see that damned name anymore.
Jeff Stephens.
Rocky wondered what had happened to that guy. There was only one case if a name disappeared from the ranking board—he must be dead.
Although Jeff was a bottom scum, he still admitted the guy was strong. It was rare to find someone who could kill him.
(Maybe... he faced a great commander of the enemy.)
However, whatever had happened, if he was dead, it was good news. He only felt regret that he couldn’t kill that bastard himself.
(Tsk... no matter what... all of you must die by my hand... I’ll make you suffer pain even worse than death.)
Just like that, the sun rose, the snowstorm vanished. It was time for them to split and go their separate ways.
Rocky blinked for a moment and asked,
’’Are you sure it’s fine to leave like that? I see that elf treats you very well.’’
Alina smiled and nodded.
’’But she doesn’t treat me as well as you, right? I’ve made my decision. I’ll follow you no matter what.’’
Rocky nodded.
’’I don’t mind.’’
But suddenly, he remembered someone he had forgotten for a long time. Rocky frowned and asked,
’’Sadly... did you see her in the higher-tier area?’’
Alina rolled her eyes and answered without hesitation.
’’No... I didn’t see her. When I opened my eyes, I was already at an outpost of the ancient race.’’
Rocky rubbed his chin, a bit lost in thought. He hadn’t expected to lose track of that holy plant.
(Maybe... luck just comes and goes. I can’t blame myself. Anyway, I got what I wanted from her. If I meet her again in the future, she won’t escape my hand.)
Rocky nodded and walked ahead, but suddenly a group of monsters appeared.
’’That’s quite annoying.’’
Rocky shouted to warn everyone to stay focused.
’’Protect the supplies!’’
