CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror-Chapter 274: Infernal Revenant
The ram bolted forward with its horn aimed straight ahead. All of the revenants were crushed into unrecognizable pulps.
The black cat floated in the air. Its mouth opened wide and pulled in all the Chaos from the dying revenant. It felt like he was drinking from a well of unlimited water.
More Chaos Spheres appeared within him. One sphere, two spheres, three spheres. Then it jumped up to 100, 200, 300.
The horde of the revenants was no match for the ram.
The cat couldn’t help but laugh non-stop.
"How can you compare to my power?! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
A wall of dirt shot up and tried to block the ram. The ram bolted straight through it, crushing the wall and the unique revenant behind.
It was a rather humanoid looking wraith. She could almost be mistaken for a human if she didn’t have those dark red lightning bolts climbing on her body.
The female revenant disappeared in a cloud of fire as the ram charged through air. It disintegrated as 50 meters had come to an end.
"Huh? Was that a spell?" The black cat raised an eyebrow.
The revenant appeared again far from its original location. It knelt on the ground. Teleportation was its limit. It couldn’t use it too much without breaking its body.
The revenant looked up to see Crow staring at it.
The female revenant jerked back in fear. It had emotions.
Crow smacked its head with the Nether Spear and knocked it out cold.
Solomiya Yeltsova was a Psychic of the once great nation called the United Confederation of Consil. But her country was gone. It was mostly a shadow of what it used to be.
However, she was still proud to be a Consilan and she hoped that one day, she could see it in all of its glory once more.
That changed the day those Void Gates appeared.
The Confederation was a corrupted country. Everyone knew that. It was the favourite place for the Void to cross over and attack the living world.
When the Void came, all of the people she knew seemed to go mad. They attacked each other and spread that thing that whispered in the air.
Solomiya was, unfortunately, one of the victims.
The Void, for her, was not just a place. It was alive. And when it resurrected her, it whispered in her ears and made her do things she couldn’t refuse.
Sol hated it. But she couldn’t stop. It had a grasp on her heart.
The Void was scheming something beneath her town. It was building something. And she roared inside.
She wanted to tell the Union if its plan and how to ruin it. But she was already corrupted.
But then he appeared. Sol didn’t understand what he was. He looked like a normal black cat until his ram crushed the entire army of revenants within seconds.
In her dreams, she returned to what the town once was. The sunny, green grassland with the sheep running all around.
Then she saw the black cat.
"How can you be here?" Sol said.
"Surpsingly. I can go into your dream through your Psycho Force." Mater said.
"What are you?"
"Well. You can say. That I am your new Master. You’re one talented Chaos User, Sol. Not many people could retain their sanity after facing the Void." Mater grinned widely.
The dream world burned as the power of Hellfire took over.
Sol woke up from her dream. A burning symbol engraved on her chest and hellfire spread from it. It burned away the influence the Void had on her.
Its whispers were quieter and quieter until it was no more. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
The fire burned away her tattered clothes and added on the bright orange lava lines that etched on her skin.
Crow watched everything from afar and thought to himself, ’Why does Master always make female servants to be naked?’
’Because they looked pretty, Crow. Come on, man! Don’t you understand that by now?’ Mater answered through telepathy.
It pulled out a chuckle from Crow.
Sol had lost most of her hair because of the revenant transformation. Now they grew back. A bright orange color of lava.
She knelt down in front of Mater. "Master. Thank you for saving me from the hand of the Void."
The black cat nodded. It saw her entire life and knew exactly what she had been through.
"Rise, demon. From today on, you shall be called Solarix. My own Demonic Revenant." The black cat meowed loudly.
"Solarix at your service, Master." She rose.
[Infernal Demonic Revenant]
[Rank]: 1
[Level]: 7
[Spells]:
- Demonic Teleportation: The revenant may teleport to any location it sees within 30-meter.
- Infernal Rays: The revenant may shoot out three rays of demonic power. Each ray causes a 10-meter radius explosion of Hellfire and may induce a stun effect to any beings affected.
- Infernal Sun: The revenant may summon a miniature ball of Hellfire that radiates extreme heat. The revenant could control the sun’s movement at will.
[Passive Abilities]:
- Demonic Wings: The revenant had a tattoo of a pair of wings on its back that it can materialize into true demon wings.
- Parasitic Revenant: The revenant may suck out the life force of living beings to refill its Chaos or heal itself.
"A pair of wings? Show me, Sol."
"Yes, Master." Sol nodded.
On her back was a bright orange tattoo of demon wings. As she activated it, they emerged from her skin and spread to the side. A large pair of fiery demon wings.
Mater nodded approvingly. He could not be happier at his handiwork.
"You are my eight servants. One of them is an Abomination. That’s him." Mater pointed to Crow.
The Abomination had already removed his Mimicry Mask. He took off his fedora, "Greetings, sister. I am Crow."
"Greetings, Crow." Sol nodded back.
"Then there is an undead, her name is Aurora. Another demon that isn’t around at the moment. A literal helmet. A human. A Satyr and a Siren. They aren’t here but you will be seeing them once we return."
"Return where, Master?"
"To the Union, of course. But now, we need to deal with whatever the Void is planning."
Sol nodded. The three of them turned toward the Void Gates. Five Void Gates, much bigger than the one on the ground. Each was placed in a specific pattern that flowed their energy into the middle.
"They’re trying to create a Dimension Tear, right?" The black cat meowed.
"You know what it is, Master?" Sol said.
"I am. No one is invading this world under my watch." The black cat grinned.
"Because this world is yours, Master." Crow added.
