CEO's Contract Obsession-Chapter 185: [Bonus - ] Bleeding
Henry dropped everything that he was carrying and hold onto Amy who looks like she was about drop to the ground.
"Where does it hurt?!" Henry howled in panic as he inspect her body but saw nothing wrong with her externally.
"ARGH! H-Henry... It’s too much..." Amy wailed in pain, her whole back and stomach hurt. She lost strength on her knees and her legs totally collapsed.
Henry carried Amy back to their camp, frustrated for he doesn’t know what is happening to her and what should he do. He gently placed Amy on the blue floater that he brought there. He saw Amy sweating hard, her lips were white, and holding onto her tummy.
"Amy, does your stomach hurt?"
"Y-Yes..." Amy murmured weakly, the pain had somehow started to subside but it was still there.
"Tsk, it must be the snail. It had worsened your food poisoning from the banana chips. I am sorry, love, I shouldn’t have given you that snail.
"Henry, I don’t think it’s the food. It’s something else. The pain is subsiding though, you can leave me here. Do whatever you have to do."
Henry nodded and added wood to their campfire since it is already getting dark, it still has embers which made it easy for him to light it back up. He glanced at Amy one more time, he saw her sleeping and her lips were pink again.
"I’ll be back," He planted a gentle kiss on her cheek, before going back to the beach. As much as he hates to leave her alone, he must set those woods on fire to help their rescuers find them when the night comes. He knows that Rei, Anton, and his uncle will stop at nothing to find them.
He ran as fast as he could to the shore and started the fire. His adrenaline was at its peak and he easily lit up the first pile. And as soon as he is done with the other two piles, he ran back to Amy.
It was already dark and the first thing that he did when he got there was check on her but Amy was not where he left her.
"Amy? Amy?" There was no answer.
He dashed quickly to the campfire and picked up a branch that was on fire, so he can look for her in the dark. He then noticed Amy’s scarf near a huge rock by the stream and so he went there.
"Amy!" Henry saw her sitting on the stream while leaning against the huge rock with her eyes closed.
"What are you doing here?" He was about to carry her but Amy opened her eyes and stopped him.
"I-I am..." Amy murmured weakly and Henry didn’t hear it.
"Let’s talk once you’re off the water, you’ll get cold," Amy once again stopped him from carrying her.
"I’m bleeding, my love... so much..." Amy muttered but Henry heard her this time.
He frowned, he was confused about what she is talking about. How can she bleed if she has no wound? He asked himself but decided to check her as well.
"Bleed where? Did you got hurt somewhere? Did something bite you?" He questioned her one after the other, but Amy was so weak to even listen to what he was saying.
"Arghh... AH!" Amy screamed so loud that made Henry scoop her up from the water as fast as he could and brought her back to their camp.
Amy was writhing in pain and screamed again as soon as Henry had put her down on the floater.
Henry is losing it, he is confused and panicking. There is nothing on that island that could help Amy with what she’s going through. He stood up and turned around to get a burning wood so he can see her better.
He was about to pick up the piece of wood from the campfire when he noticed his arm. He lifted both his hands and only one was wet and it was red... just like the color of blood... Amy’s blood!
"F*CK!" He turned around to look at Amy and saw blood dripping from the floater down to the ground.
His eyes widened, his whole body trembled and he can’t seem to speak or move from his spot. He stood there frozen and lost.
’WHAT THE F*CK IS GOING ON!?’ Henry asked inwardly.

Rei assigned Dave and Mitch to the air unit of the private agency that he hired while he and Ava joined the coast guard search and rescue unit using Henry’s Gentry Eagle which can speed up to 63.5 knots.
They left the city at dawn and by noon they got a report that some cruise ships and fishing boats saw an orange parachute way too far from where that parachute was recovered. The reason why they can’t find them is because they were searching in the wrong place. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
And it made sense, Rei thought. Since Henry reported to the control tower that he was having problems with the navigation system of the Vision Jet, it was possible that they were already off their route when they had to jump off.
Rei was restless ever since they received that report and he can feel that they are close to finding Amy and Henry. According to the coast guards, there were a lot of small islands near the area where the cruise ships and fishing boats saw the orange parachute gliding in the air.
And that fact alone gave them hope. If the two were able to fall into the water safe then the tide would definitely push them to one of those islands.
"Rei, I just got off the phone with Mitch. Their team saw light in one of the islands. The coast guard said that the group of islands there are uninhabited. The light that they saw could be fire made by Amy and Henry.
The island’s beach is too narrow, so their helicopter won’t be able to land there, but they will still go there to check," Ava reported.
"Get the coordinates from the coast guard and let’s go there now!" Rei then commanded the captain to run at full speed. Henry’s yacht it faster than the coast guard’s boat and he does not want to wait any longer.
The two had been missing for more than twenty-four hours already and who knows what condition are they in right at that moment.
He instructed everyone to get ready and prepare for all possible scenarios that Amy and Henry might be in.
"Hang in there brother, we are coming for you, just hang on," Rei uttered as he stare at the calm dark sea.
