As Amy approached Ash, she caught sight of Ava emerging from Bellory with two cups of coffee and a bag of pastries in hand. She noticed the exchange of glances between Ash and Ava, and her curiosity was piqued.
Amy discreetly positioned herself behind one of the large columns outside the building, observing as Ash and Ava made their way toward each other. She observed Ash receiving the paper cups from Ava’s hands, and in return, he handed her the bouquet he had been holding.
With a smile of delight, Ava accepted the bouquet and inhaled its fragrance, displaying the actions of a woman deeply in love. Ash, leaning in closer, tenderly placed a kiss on Ava’s forehead, while gently wrapping his arm around her waist.
Amy stood there, stunned and speechless, as her hands instinctively covered her open mouth. The realization that Ash could be romantically involved with someone hit her like a shockwave, and the fact that it was Ava, her trusted head of security and executive assistant, was beyond her comprehension.

As Amy watch them leave, she had already forgotten the real purpose of why she was there in the first place. She hurriedly made her way back to Bellory, eager to share the shocking revelation with Mary. However, her excitement quickly turned to disappointment when she discovered that the office was empty and locked. No sign of Mary or any other familiar faces remained.
And she knows just where to find them. Amy quickly made her way to the CEO’s floor, heading towards the receiving area where she spotted Mary and Sandra engaged in conversation. Judging by their presence there, she deduced that their partners were still in the boardroom.
Amy rushed towards Mary and Sandra, a sense of urgency in her voice and hurried steps. She was relieved to find them both in the receiving area.
"I’m so glad you’re here! I need to tell you something," Amy blurted out, her words rushed and filled with excitement.
Mary, after seeing Amy in a hurry, got worried that something went wrong, and immediately asked, "What happened, babe? Is everything ok?"
"Yes, everything is alright. In fact, I think everything is absolutely perfect!" Amy exclaimed with a great deal of excitement.
Sandra grinned mischievously and teased, "Yes! Does this mean we’re going to be proud aunts soon?"
"What? Is that the only exciting news for you?" Amy exclaimed. "No, it’s not about that. I just don’t know how to begin."
"Oh, come on! Don’t keep us in suspense any longer," Mary urged, unable to contain her curiosity.
"Alright, alright. So, last night I asked Rei how Ash was doing, and he mentioned that Ash might be dating someone, although he wasn’t sure. But now, I can confirm it. Ash and Ava are dating!" Amy announced with excitement.
However, to her dismay, Mary and Sandra didn’t react as she expected. They both stared at her blankly, their emotions unreadable. Amy couldn’t help but feel confused and decided to address it directly. "Am I missing something here? Do you know something that I don’t?" she asked, hoping for some clarity.
"Uhm, I had a feeling about it, but I’ve been so caught up with things that I didn’t really dwell on it," Mary admitted.
"What? Why didn’t you tell me?" Amy responded, her disappointment evident in her voice.
"It’s actually my fault, cuz. But it’s because Rei asked me to keep it under wraps. It’s not our place to reveal their relationship," Sandra explained.
"But how did you find out about it? Did Ava or Ash tell you?" Amy asked curiously.
"No, we just assumed they are together or at least in some kind of getting-to-know stage. I was calling Rei one morning and Ash’s housekeeper answered the call and when I went there to pick up Rei, Ava was in there too. They were working late on your case and had fallen asleep.
And when I asked Rei, he said that he thinks that those two might be developing feelings for each other. And I didn’t ask for more information after that," Sandra said.
"But the question that matters is, Amy, how do you feel about it?" Mary asked with curiosity.
"I am elated! That is my ultimate wish for Ash ever since he told me he has feelings for me. And I can only hope that their relationship is not one-way. If ever I find out that Ash is only using Ava, I might really kill him this time," Amy said with full conviction.
"Who are you planning to kill, my love?" Henry’s voice surprised the three women, causing them to turn around to face him. Amy was momentarily speechless, uncertain whether she should disclose the situation involving Ava and Ash to Henry. She deliberated, realizing that Ava’s involvement made it a more complicated matter than just another woman.
Amy weighed the possibilities in her mind, contemplating the potential outcomes of revealing the relationship between Ava and Ash to Henry. She recognized that Henry had the authority to take action, such as terminating Ava’s employment if he disapproved.
On the other hand, there was also a chance that he would be understanding and accept their relationship. It was a difficult decision to make, as the consequences could have far-reaching effects on everyone involved.
Henry encircled his arm around her shoulder before giving her a kiss on the cheek. Unfortunately, he has no plan of letting go of what he had heard, "Are you trying to get rid of someone, love? When should I help you hide the body?"
