Who would have thought, they had just gotten off the airplane when Alexander Forest suddenly received a phone call from Kane Forest, who sounded like he was struggling to say anything.

On the phone, Kane Forest sounded as if he was giving his last words, instructing him to be more mature in the future; the Forest Family would rely on Alexander Forest.

Kane didn’t say much before hanging up, and when Alexander called back, it always showed that no one was answering.

Alexander then took Quincy Forest to the hotel first, and not long after, he received a call from a good friend of Kane, finding out that Kane was injured and sent to the hospital for emergency treatment.

"Alexander."

Someone called him from behind.

Alexander turned to look at the person and instantly recognized Jack Yummy, who had called him; he was wearing a white coat, also a doctor at this hospital.

"Brother Jack." Alexander walked over hurriedly, asking anxiously, "Is my brother inside? What’s going on? He suddenly called me, said some strange things, and then the phone became unreachable. Then you called me."

"Your brother is in there being rescued; he got shot three times. When I and the ambulance rushed over, he fainted after saying just a few words." Jack Yummy sighed, "If it wasn’t for having to deliver some words, he would’ve fainted long ago, bleeding everywhere."

Jack Yummy sighed, "Your brother, he’s crazy."

There were quite a few others at the doorway to the surgery room, so Jack Yummy took Alexander Forest to his office to talk.

"Your brother found the murderer of Jane Sampson, but instead of telling anyone, he geared up to take revenge for Jane Sampson himself, only to be shot, and now he’s in surgery."

After finishing, the office instantly fell silent.

Alexander Forest couldn’t react for a while, his face full of disbelief.

"Are you saying my brother found Jane Sampson’s murderer, rushed in to confront them, intending to avenge Jane Sampson himself, only to be turned around and end up in surgery?"

"Brother Jack, are you kidding me?" Alexander looked up at Jack Yummy, "This situation, no matter how you look at it, doesn’t seem like something my brother would do."

"Am I like someone who would joke around for fun?" Jack Yummy rolled his eyes at Alexander Forest, "Even I was dumbfounded when I found out about these things."

Jack Yummy slammed his palm on the office desk, "From the first day I knew your brother, Kane Forest in my eyes was an old head on young shoulders, do you know what that means? Mature and steady, organized, considering the whole picture, looking both ahead and behind, this kind of impulsive foolish act, if you were to do it I might believe, but for Kane to do it, I feel like I’ve seen a ghost!"

"No, what do you mean by ’if I did it you’d believe’?" Alexander rubbed his head, "It doesn’t make sense! There’s no reason! Jane Sampson had an accident, we were all sad, my brother was sad too, but why would he go crazy?"

Jack Yummy looked at Alexander Forest, who seemed to be trying in vain to make sense of Kane’s impulse to seek revenge on the murderer of Jane Sampson, with a look of utter resignation, hesitated for a few seconds, and then a flower garland spoke: "Do you know what your brother told me after he met me and held onto his last breath?"
