Chaplain!-Chapter 81 She Doesn’t Belong Here
As soon as William Davis made the statement, the entire atmosphere inside the auditorium turned awkward!
The look on Emilia's face changed as she was aware that William Davis was targeting her!
As for Oliver Walker, he still looked calm and collected.
Leon Williams, on the other hand, was looking incredibly shocked!
So….the person who caused the mess outside was William Davis?!
He was still wondering how his men mustered such guts to mess around! It was because they were influenced!
If William Davis hadn't popped out now, Leon Williams would never know how to explain himself to Oliver Walker. After all, this man was different from the others. 𝐛𝗲𝐝𝐧𝗼𝐯𝐞𝐥.𝐜𝐨𝗺
This man was like a saint who wasn't bothered by these trivial matters!
Leon Williams could only say that William Davis was now a savior!
William Davis was diverting all the hate and was even giving Leon Williams the chance to redeem himself but standing up now could be too deliberate. It would cause the man to feel uncomfortable instead.
Therefore, he tried to keep himself as calm as possible, but his eyes were locked on Emilia and Olivia who were seated next to Oliver Walker.
He was watching their every move!
James Floss frowned as he asked, "Mr. Davis, what did you mean by that?"
He obviously knew what William Davis wanted.
However, he could only acknowledge it, but he couldn't do it himself.
Hendric Smith was their honorable guest who decided to hold a talk here in Colorado, and this was all because of Oliver Walker.
Hendric Smith had also made the misunderstanding between his master and his wife worse after recklessly calling her ma'am, and so, he had once warned James Floss not to expose the relationship between him and Oliver Walker.
"Do you know what type of meeting this is?"
William Davis had a vicious look on his face as he questioned James Floss, "As the director of the First Hospital, don't you know who Emilia is?
"Allowing her to sit here isn't just an insult to me or all the VIPs here today. It is disrespectful to the godly doctor!"
He brought up this issue now to inform James Floss about the mistake in the arrangement.
"This is too much!"
"You can just ignore us, but how dare you disrespect the godly doctor? You…..you're ending your own career!"
"How is Emilia allowed to sit over there?"
"..."
The rest of the VIPs in Colorado stood up and chimed in.
William Davis had already spoken up. Why should they be afraid?
Plus, they were pressuring James Floss by using Hendric Smith's name. As long as he wasn't an idiot, James Floss should know who was more important.
William Davis's eyes peered at Oliver Walker, and he looked satisfied.
If the meeting wasn't delayed, he wouldn't have had the chance to do this, but now that it was, Emilia and her family would not be allowed to remain in their seats.
All of them here were socialites of Colorado. How dare the director of the First Hospital ignore them?
Emilia was looking pissed as well.
However, they were here for her daughter, and she had to hold it in.
After all…..she couldn't afford to offend anyone here!
But, what she didn't know was that, for Oliver Walker, all of them here in this room was not as precious as she was.
James Floss raised his arm and said, "Quiet!"
Then, the commotion in the room quickly stopped.
Their eyes were burning with satisfaction!
No one would be allowed to look down on them here in Colorado!
Oliver Walker had the guts to act highly in front of them! He was definitely digging his own grave!
If William Davis was only doing this to spite Emilia, then they were doing this so that they could teach Oliver Walker a lesson and heal their feelings of pride that had been injured earlier.
"No matter if it's me or Mr. Smith, we are both doctors."
James Floss said with his head held high, "For doctors, there are only healthy people and patients along with their families.
"There aren't such things as VIPs, peasants, or lowly living things!
"Miss Davis' daughter is a patient at our hospital, and she is the mother of our patient. She is just someone who has equal rights as the rest of us to be here.
"The seats here today aren't because of your status or wealth. If there's anyone who isn't happy about it, feel free to leave."
His strong words caused the entire scene to turn quiet!
What was going on?!
