Carlos still trains to cultivate the Aether, spreading his 'Aether Marks' around his body, just like Carol who tries to Cultivate beside him.

"( Both of them, learned things well than I thought. )" Arthur says in his mind as he watches both of them training their Aether.

"( The Aether is increasing, I can see through the 'Aether Mark's growing around my skin. )" Carlos says as he increased the use of Aether within his body.

Aether, a power so ominous and mysterious, unlike the Mana, is made from something unnatural as if this thing was like an 'antithesis' of the very concept of Mana itself.

"( It is strange, the 'Aether' is surely different from Mana. )" Carlos thinks as he feels the Aether spreading around his body and covering his Mana.

"( If Mana was the energy from nature, from all living beings which explain its sense of cool breeze of freedom..., the Aether feels more like a fire, a fire that constantly fuels your body with great power and also... )" Carlos says as he sweats per his Aether's increase.

"( The Aether also... )" Carlos says as he sweats so hard as he increased it.

"( It also fuels your very Soul. )" Carol says within her mind as she circulates the Aether around her body.

"( Hehehe, I could feel it all coursing into my body, to every of my body parts. )" Carol feels it as she could feel her body getting enhanced by the Aether as she trains it.

" Okay stop, both of you! " Arthur orders them to stop as the two's Aether is getting more increased out of their control.

" What is it, House Head? " Carlos asks his father as he stares at him and Carol.

" Carol, stop the training! " Arthur says to Carol, telling his little cousin to stop as he sees both of their Aether Marks are getting spread around their body.

" Good, finally both of you had progress! " Arthur says to both of them.

" I could sense it, both of you are getting more adept with the Aether than the first time. "

" With this, your magic Tiers should've been at least the top from your S-Class classmates or even your seniors in the academy. "

" Well done. " Arthur smirks as he sees the result of his tutorship, the two of his young members begin to grow more than he hoped.

" I'm honored, House Head. " Carlos responds to Arthur with full respect.

" About time. " Carol also responds as she then decides to shoot a ball of energy made from the Aether.

[ Aether Bullet ]

Carol shoots it as the Bullet made from the Aether then destroys the wall, disintegrating it fully, leaving no trace of materials, nor even Mana behind.

" Incredible, the blast not only disintegrates materials but also disintegrates the Mana within the very wall! " Carol says as she sensed it.

" No, not disintegrate. " Carlos says for he then uses his Aether-based skill too.

[ Aether Blast ]

Carlos blasts the wall, creating a hole larger than Carol which he then decides to approach and take a good look at because of its result.

" I see now... " Carlos approached the wall he blasts and kneels to see the effect in more detail.

" The Aether did not disintegrate the Mana inside the wall's materials, Carol, but instead... "

" It 'absorbs' it, thus... "

" Weaken the very object, absorbing the Mana that layer's the object's very physical body. " Carlos says it, realizing something.

"( I see now, no wonder I lose to him... )" Carlos remembers the past, remembers his battle with Draven as he defeats him using his strange power.

"( Draven's an Aether user, with it, he could easily weaken me for it's the Aether's very nature to absorb the Mana from the object's physical body, thus... )" Carlos feels enraged when realizing the reason for his defeat back then.

"( This time, it will change! )" Carlos says as his Aether increased as well as his mark, showing how much he had been used to with the Aether.

"( Draven... )" Carlos says in anger.

"( If we meet again, I will... )" Carlos swears to himself as he crushed the ground before him.

" Absorbs, huh? " Carol asks she then looks at her hand, sensing her Aether through it.

"( This should be fun..., I can't wait to meet that 'Draven' again... )" Carol says to herself as she smirks.

"( I was so useless against him, against the person's very monsters too. )"

"( With this, when I meet him again, I will rain down the Aether and make sure to unmask him in front of everybody else, kuku... )"

"( With that, I will make surely be known back into the Calibur House once more, or at least be known in the Academy, thus increasing my future prestige. )" Carol already speculated, her rewards if she continues training her Aether, she realized with her rising use of Aether, she could overcome even Draven.

[ Inside Carlos' body. ]

"( He's laughing again, what makes him feel fun this time? )" Carlos wonders about it, for then leaves the basement following both Arthur and Carol.

" What are you waiting for, Carlos? " Carol asks as she walks in front of him.

" Coming, hold on! " Carlos responds to her as he quickly catches up, leaving that very basement behind for the next hours.
