"Did you fall out with L because of that man?" Luna had heard plenty of negative rumors about Ethan Sterling, though they were mostly hearsay. However, her friend’s high-profile marriage and divorce were indeed factual, which made her worried and also slightly curious.

"I left The Sterling Group so my daughter could see her father, that’s all." Ruby put down her wine glass, "I’ll leave now, we’ll meet again when we have time."

"Did you sort out your matters?"

Ethan Sterling also smiled, he couldn’t guess what had happened, but seeing her in a good mood, he knew at least that jerk didn’t trouble her.

Ruby only realized on her way out that she didn’t even have Mr. T’s contact information, but perhaps he didn’t need her to say thank you. She even felt that maybe he was the one who most wished she’d have a good life in this world.

"Ethan Sterling, I suddenly feel like I’ve been too timid in the past." She smiled sweetly. She thought she should be braver, rather make a mistake in love than miss out, only she still couldn’t say it out loud because just thinking about it made her heart race wildly, almost making her want to cry.
