Lin Xuan Qi turned around to the direction where the voice came from.

A young man who looked the same age as he was came towards them, with many guards and servants behind him.

The young man wore a cotton robe, with a fur coat, trying to look as if he was someone who lived in the wilderness and that he was a tough man.

Most notable among the young man and his guards was that all of them had a sword hanging by their waist.

Their swords were well crafted and carved with inscriptions, unlike those that were used by martial arts fighters.

Lu Ting frowned when she saw the young man.

"Shouldn’t you be dealing with the Huo Clan’s business in the capital?" She shouted back at the young man.

Huo Fei Li gave Lin Xuan Qi a stare before giving her a smile and said, "Ting Er, I was worried about you, my future wife. You shouldn’t be out here in Hong Feng City with the rebellion going on."

Then, he glanced at Lin Xuan Qi, pointed at him and said, "Was he giving you trouble?"

"No, stay out of what I want to do." Lu Ting protested and glanced at Lin Xuan Qi apologetically.

That frustrated Huo Fei Li, and he stared at Lin Xuan Qi again.

He would deal with him if he wanted to try something funny with his future wife.

Lin Xuan Qi frowned and pointed at his nose, "Me?"

Huo Fei Li must have been someone who was used to getting things to go his way.

And maybe worse, it might have been both.

"Who are you to demand that from someone you don’t know?" Lu Ting shouted at Huo Fei Li and she came up to Lin Xuan Qi to bow at him.

"I’m so sorry about that. I will make it up to you when I’m done with Huo Fei Li." She apologized and said.

They were only future husband and wife to be because of their elders.

She had no feelings for him.
