Lin Xuan Qi gave him a smile, stood up with his hands cupped and said, "We would be honored but it is getting dark."

Lu Wan Song gave him a nod and Lu Ting stood up from her seat, "I will send them out, father."

"Go." He replied to her while he stroked his beard.

She bowed to him and she led them out of the main hall.

Sima Long wanted to get out of the mansion as soon as possible and he walked ahead.

The lingering smell of the herbs was fine initially, but it was suffocating instead when you could smell it with your every breath.

Lin Xuan Qi shook his head at him while he walked beside Lu Ting, amidst the focus on him from Yue Xin and Liu Shi Shi who were walking right behind them.

But he didn’t bother with it as he had something important to ask Lu Ting.

"Where can I find places to buy things for cultivators?"

"Things?" Lu Ting glanced at him and asked.

He planned to venture out around in the city when he had the chance to do so.

He knew that his Cultivation Level at Qi Concentration Level wasn’t the greatest, he wasn’t about to go out and cause troubles.

"The Fu Lu Inn is the nearest to Wan Shou Fang, you can seek lodging there tonight if you want to." Lu Ting added on.

He nodded his head at her and thanked her, "Thanks, I will."

With that they got onto their horse carriages which were waiting outside and they headed out of the inner city.

When the curfew timing hit, the inner city would be inaccessible to the others.

Making it a much more privileged and safe area compared to the outer city.

And that was why only those who were close to the emperor or imperial court officials were allowed to stay in the inner city.

Lin Xuan Qi directed the coachman to bring them to the Fu Lu Inn and it took the coachman some time before they arrived.

The coachman had to stop intermittently and ask for directions.

"So, what were you talking about?"

Inside the horse carriage, Yue Xin was trying to figure out what Lin Xuan Qi was talking about with Lu Ting earlier.

She would try her best to keep other women away from him for the sake of Xue Cong and her sister, Yue Jie.

And it was also for herself and Liu Shi Shi.

"This Fu Lu Inn was recommended by her."

He said and shrugged his shoulders.

Yue Xin thought for a moment and it sounded to be true.

Lin Xuan Qi had never been in the Capital City Bian Jing before, there was no other way for him to know the Fu Lu Inn if it wasn’t for Lu Ting’s recommendation.

"Fine." Yue Xin pouted but held onto his hand while the horse carriage moved.

Liu Shi Shi also didn’t say much and she did the same.

"Welcome to the Fu Lu Inn, how can I help you?" The innkeeper was full of smiles when he saw Lin Xuan Qi coming into the inn with so many others.

Lin Xuan Qi gave him a smile and replied, "Give us a room each."

"Come help these honored guests!"

That got the innkeeper very happy, and he quickly shouted for the waiters to come and serve them.

It didn’t take long and the waiters came out from the inn.

They helped and led them to their individual rooms quickly.

Yue Xin and Liu Shi Shi stayed at the room that was next to Lin Xuan Qi’s so that they could serve him much more easily.

Lin Xuan Qi stayed alone and he was glad for it.

When he had the chance, he would be able to go and check out what was in Wan Shou Fang.

"Do you know where Wan Shou Fang is?" Lin Xuan Qi asked the waiter when the waiter was about to leave.

The waiter pointed in a direction down the street and said, "Follow this street and turn to the left, you will see a bustling square after you do so.

"But I must warn you, those who go there aren’t the most law-abiding people.

"So be careful."

"Thanks." Lin Xuan Qi thanked the waiter and handed him some copper coins.

The waiter gave him a huge smile after that and said, "Let me know if you need to know more."

"That should be all."

After the waiter left, Lin Xuan Qi looked out of the window in his room.

There were bustling activities in the streets below.

Many men and women who dressed in their cultivation robes walked towards Wan Shou Fang.

Everyone went towards or came out from the direction of where the waiter pointed.
