Chapter 885: Chapter 885: Your Husband Has Just Remembered Something

"What plans do we have today?" the man across suddenly asked.

This trip was suggested by Ji Wei. Before setting off, she had boldly promised with great confidence that Mo Qian only needed to enjoy the entire journey, while she would handle all the itinerary arrangements. That’s why he asked.

Ji Wei paused with her fork, answering, "In a bit, we’ll take a car to the Royal Medical College to visit a friend." She didn’t directly mention visiting Professor Man Kun, fearing it might cause his displeasure.

Mo Qian nodded, not asking further questions.

After finishing breakfast, the two tidied up and headed out.

Ji Wei had researched the route; from the hotel entrance, they could take a taxi or the bus. Considering the coastal road had picturesque views, after consulting Mo Qian, Ji Wei decided to take the bus across the street.

There weren’t many foreigners on the bus; all faces seemed kind and friendly. Ji Wei smiled at them, gently holding Mo Qian’s hand, and they sat down at an empty spot in the back.

Outside the bus window, foreign country’s enchanting scenery unfolded. The coastline stretched out in azure blue, with sea breezes refreshing the mind.

Ji Wei wore a dress today, carrying an orange shoulder bag, her long hair draped over her shoulders, exuding a youthful vibe. She was in high spirits, and tightly held onto Mo Qian’s arm, refusing to let go.

"Mo Qian, how does riding the bus feel?" she couldn’t help but curiously ask. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

"It’s quite refreshing," the man replied blandly.

"I’ve taken the bus before, but this time, being with you makes it feel so wonderful," Ji Wei looked at him, speaking sincerely.

"Mm."

His tone was quite flat, but an indistinct curve appeared at the corner of his lips.

Mo Qian had no doubt that even with a blank memory of Ji Wei, he would eventually fall in love with her. Being with her was comfortable and joyful; every action she made drew him in like dazzling light.

Arriving at the Royal Medical College, the two smoothly found Professor Man Kun’s office.

The professor, an affable elderly man with white hair and wearing black-rimmed glasses, appeared quite cultivated.

Having likely been informed beforehand by Shi Ye of their visit, he didn’t seem overly surprised. After a brief exchange, Mo Qian followed the professor to the adjacent treatment room.

Although Mo Qian couldn’t hide his astonishment upon learning the treatment was for him, he showed no displeasure or resistance due to his trust in Ji Wei.

Ji Wei waited outside, initially thinking the check-up wouldn’t take long. But as it extended past an hour, she began to grow anxious.

In her mind, she wondered if something went wrong with Mo Qian’s treatment.

Another half hour passed, and finally, the sound of the door opening echoed from behind, prompting Ji Wei to impatiently rush over.

Only Professor Man Kun emerged. Startled, she immediately inquired, "Professor, how is he? Why didn’t he come out with you?"

Professor Man Kun adjusted the glasses on his nose, smiling kindly and said, "Miss Ji, you don’t need to worry. Your husband just recalled some things and needs some time to process them. But you can go in and see him."

Upon hearing the professor’s words, the tension in Ji Wei’s heart eased considerably.

The outcome definitely exceeded her expectations; never did she imagine the first treatment would yield results. Filled with excitement, Ji Wei pushed the door open and walked in.
