Chapter 669: Chapter 348: A Night on Foam Island (Part 1)

"I’ve already said I haven’t forgiven you yet... So, before I do, you can’t touch me!!" 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Howard Geoffrey’s handsome face was lined with frustration.

Rebecca Quentin finished speaking and casually turned to walk towards the door.

Howard didn’t let Rebecca take a few steps before swiftly capturing her. In the next instant, his arms tightly encircled her from behind, his jaw resting on her forehead, voice husky, "Aren’t you deliberately making things difficult for me? What if you never forgive me, then I..."

Rebecca elbowed him away, and before he could react, she had already turned the doorknob and stood outside, cheekily making a funny face, "Then you’ll be a monk all your life!"

With a completely darkened face, Howard chased after her.

When the elevator door was about to close, Howard squeezed in.

Rebecca glared at him indignantly, but he still hugged her slender waist.

"Hey, my luggage is still in the room."

"Jason Wood will take care of it."

"But I want to go home now, I bought gifts for Mom and Andrew."

"No worries, give them later."

"Why later? Aren’t we going home now?"

"No."

"Then where are we going?"

"To where we want to go."

"Ah?"

Rebecca couldn’t figure out that she and Howard were now on their way to his private airport.

Yes, they were preparing to head to Foam Island.

In the car, Rebecca leaned on Howard’s broad shoulder, worryingly said, "We haven’t even told Mom yet?"

"I’ll call her when we get off the plane."

"But I really miss Andrew." She hasn’t seen the wimpy kid for more than a month.

"You can call him from the island."

"The island won’t be all dark again, will it?"

Howard laughed, "Have you forgotten that I’m by your side?"

Rebecca closed her eyes, leaned sweetly against Howard’s shoulder, and smiled.

Howard gently pecked Rebecca’s cheek, holding her in his arms.

Because she had just gotten off the plane, she quickly fell asleep leaning on his shoulder.

He gazed intently at her innocent sleeping face, his eyes soft, filled with affection.

Just then, her phone’s ringtone rang.

Afraid the ringtone would wake her, he immediately found her phone in her bag, set it to silent, and looked at the flashing "Mr. Jones" on the screen. His handsome face turned cold as he lifted his gaze coolly forward, pressed the answer button, and put it to his ear.

"Becca."

The phone was Skyler Jones’s usual gentle voice.

Howard spoke directly, "It’s me."

Skyler paused for a second and then asked, "Where is she?"

Howard glanced at the sweetly sleeping girl in his arms and straightforwardly said, "Sleeping."

The image was purely one of sweetness, yet Howard’s words inexplicably added a touch of ambiguity.

Skyler took several seconds before speaking again, "I heard from Christine Quinn that she’s been alone in T City for over a month."

"You’re quite concerned about her, eh?" His jealousy obvious.

"Her coming back to you means Vivian Lindsey didn’t say anything to her... I originally wanted to say something on your behalf, but it seems unnecessary now."

"But I still need your help."

"Conceal Vivian Lindsey’s love for her?"

"Forever."

The sea breeze fluttered the romantic white curtains.

Rebecca murmured, waking up from her sleep.

The comfortable soft lounge outside the villa made her turn over snugly, wrapped in a blanket, and lazily drifted back to sleep.

A few seconds into her slumber, she abruptly opened her eyes and looked around.

In her sight was an endless view of blue ocean and white sandy beach, sunlight bright and warm with the sea breeze, the temperature just right, making one feel refreshed.

Rebecca removed the blanket from her body, got up, and immersed herself in the beauty before her.

She’s obviously familiar with this place; it’s the most beautiful place to her in this life.

If one speaks of the beautiful memories she and Howard have together, their time on Foam Island is enough for them to reminisce all their lives.

Unexpectedly, upon waking, she found herself indeed there.

Where’s Howard?

Rebecca turned and scanned the surroundings.

But amidst the romantic scenery, she seemed to be all alone.

Her heart skipped, and Rebecca ran from the villa to the beach, searching all the way.

A few servants working in the distance eased her suspended heart.

Rebecca was about to ask those servants about Howard’s whereabouts when suddenly, two strong arms wrapped around her.

She was startled, but immediately surrounded by a familiar pleasant scent.

The person holding her, no doubt.

"Where did you go?"

Howard’s voice was slightly anxious, his arms tightly wrapped around her.

Rebecca turned and looked up at his handsome face, reaching out to touch, "When I woke up, I found myself already on Foam Island, didn’t see you, so I came to find you."

"Silly, I’m right by your side, was just instructing the servants to get you something to eat."

"I actually am a bit hungry."

"You slept a long time."

"Really?"

Howard affectionately kissed her lips, "Yeah, over ten hours."

Rebecca looked embarrassed, "Gosh, I can sleep a lot."

"You kept clinging to me, I finally managed to put you on the lounge chair to sleep."

Rebecca shyly replied, "You’re just saying that."

Howard held Rebecca tighter, "I’m just saying I don’t want to let you go."

Rebecca heard the sweet words, blushingly lowered her head.

"Hungry?"

Rebecca nodded.

"Come, let’s eat."

"Mm."

The average temperature on Foam Island is around 24 degrees all year, the most comfortable temperature for the human body.

Howard hugged Rebecca, strolling along the beach, from afar, they looked like a loving couple, making the island’s servants enviously admire them from afar.

"Howard, I think I heard my phone ringing while I was asleep, did someone call me?"

"Yes, your sister."

"Oh, she must be wondering if I’ve reached New York yet. Did you reply to her?"

"Yeah."

Rebecca flashed Howard a sweet smile, "Is the scene I see now real?"
