Cosmic Paragon-Chapter 105 - 104: Shadow Emergence!

Even Julia couldn’t believe it. Her certain sword strike had actually been completely evaded by her opponent. Almost subconsciously, she launched backward in retreat.

But Drake did not do anything. He just stood there staring at her.

With the Black Scorpion mask on his face; his face was concealed so nobody could see what his current expression was.

But with the way he had evaded all her attacks and forced her to retreat without even raising a finger would give one the impression that; he was an adult watching a child play.

Several of Julia’s fans in the crowd were annoyed; when they saw him looking all smug like that.

Julia’s countenance was serious as she glared firmly at her opponent. "Why will you not fight back? You just keep dodging like that. Are you looking down on me?"

When she noticed that he was not saying anything; she took it as him really looking down on her which enraged her. "If you won’t attack, then I’ll force you to make a move, if you still refuse, then you can just die." she shouted.

’Shadow Emergence!’

As Julia spoke her magic power surged.

Her aura rose sharply and at the same time, the darkness of her shadow started to rise covering her legs, lower body, upper body and arms in a black smog that soon made her look like a dark spirit.

It was almost like she had merged with her shadow.

When the Shadow merger was complete, her surging powerful aura vanished in an instant. She suddenly became silent just like a shadow.

Shadow Manipulation was a special power; that had turned into the special Bloodline power of the Shadow family.

Drake turned serious at the sight of her transformation.

After spending so long in Alpha academy with Cassandra and the Wolff Brothers, Drake knew exactly what it meant for somebody to have a bloodline power.

It meant that somebody among their predecessors had possessed that exact same power. And that precursor had reached the level of 7 Star mage.

7 Star mage!

That was a threshold that not just anybody could reach. All those who could reach that level were people of high standing in the empire.

The Seven Kings of the current Human empire in Sanctuary were 7 Star mages. With that level of power one could summon the rain and move the clouds with just the wave of a hand.

A descendant of such a person was definitely not someone to provoke.

Whenever they summoned their bloodline power they could be a terrifying foe. And they possessed greater combat capability when compared to others on the same level as themselves.

Julia upon completing her Shadow Bloodline transformation charged forward.

In just a moment she closed the distance between them with an alarming speed.

The ’Eyes of Order’ were locked onto Julia, tracking everyone of her moves, so Drake was not befuddled.

’Cosmic Armor!’

With a mental order Drake also activated his Cosmic armor.

The magic power from the Aquarius constellation came to life and rushed through Drake’s body. Suddenly, Violet colored magic energy surged out of Drake’s body like flames, which then formed a thin Violet film dotted with starlight over his body.

All the different forms of magic power from the Virgo constellation surged into the Cosmic armor.

This in turn caused the Cosmic armor to glow with resplendence as his magic power surged.

Julia had already arrived before him and her short sword was coming at Drake in a horizontal slash. She was fast yet silent, Julia was finally showing the ability’s of a 3 Star mage.

With the Cosmic power from his constellations running, Drake activated a new power he had learned from the twins.

’Infinity!’

SWISH!

Julia’s Sword slashed right through where Drake’s neck was. But she was shocked when she realized, there was no feeling of contact.

Drake had bent his back backwards dodging the attack which went over him along with her.

Drake who was now behind Julia because she had dashed past him slowly straightened his waist and raised his torso that had been leaned back to avoid that terrifying attack.

Julia was surprised. "How?"

The spectators were silent as they watched the fight; staring with wide eyes and jaws dropped.

"How did she miss? How the hell did this guy dodge such a fast attack?" Somebody mumbled in disbelief.

He had not even gotten a clear look at that attack. He knew there was no possible chance that he himself could avoid that.

Jeremy was also watching this fight, and his eyes were glowing.

Another fan that had come to watch this fight after seeing Jeremy’s recommendation squinted her eyes as she carefully watched this fight.

"Interesting!" she mumbled.

Several other people were also flabbergasted.

Many of the people watching this fight were not that powerful and were only watching for entertainment. But the experts among them all sat up, now that they saw just how serious this fight had gotten.

They finally started paying closer attention to this fight.

Unknowingly, the people watching this match had reached 200 viewers.

WHOOSH!

SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!

Julia turned and resumed her assault on Drake. All her attacks were extremely sharp and precise. All the power in her attacks were concentrated into her swords and one slash could split any other mage on the same level in half.

Julia was as nimble as she was fast. However, no matter what she did. She was unable to land a blow on Drake.

Julia did not understand. She could sense that her opponent was not using a power that was too high. In fact, if anybody had asked her, she would have sworn that with the magic power fluctuations he was emitting he was definitely a 2 star mage.

However, despite the weak magic power this opponent was using. She was still unable to beat him even after activating her bloodline power. This left her thoroughly shocked.

Right now if anybody told her that this guy was a 2 star mage, she would not believe it. Even if the person were to swear on their life.

There was no way a 2 star mage could completely avoid all her attacks like this.

Speed and physical strength were the hardest specs to improve, this was an unshakable fact.

This was especially so for speed.

Just because you advanced to the next cultivation level and raised you Battle Power did not necessarily mean your speed would multiply.

Julia’s ’Shadow Emergence’ was an ability that raised her speed by an unknown amount. No other mage on the same level as her should be able to compete with her in speed, unless they have special speed enhancement powers. yet Drake was able to dodge her attacks despite the additional speed boost brought by her power.

This was quite the shocker to her. And not just her, but everybody watching.

However, she and all those watching had no idea that the only reason why Drake was capable of dodging all Julia’s attacks was because of the special ability of the twins that he was using.

’Infinity!’

Infinity was a special ability Peter had come up with in the past few weeks of mastering their powers of Space ad Time.

Somehow this guy had managed to come up with a way to completely merge the two powers of Space and Time. Now they controlled the power of Space-Time. However, Peter thought calling it Space-Time power would be undermining the greatness of his genius. So he had called it ’Infinity’.

Once ’Infinity’ was active the true power of Space-Time could be brought forth.

To be perfectly honest, Drake was not supposed to be capable of using ’Infinity’. That is because even Peter had only been able to do it by using his and Paul’s ’Twin Share’ special ability to completely merge the two powers into one entity. Otherwise he would not have been able to pull it off.

After Peter had first figured it out and told Paul about it, the twins had used this new ability to almost snag a victory against Drake. And to be honest, if it were not because Drake controlled so many powers he would not have been able to beat the twins.

Drake had tried learning how to use ’Infinity’ from the twins, however, no matter how Drake tried, he had been unable to merge the two powers into one entity.

Because of this for the next several bouts between Drake and the twins. While Drake had always won thanks to his cheat number of abilities and the Eyes of Order’, he had always walked away bloody.

This had gone on until Drake had formed the Aquarius Constellation!

Whether by some fluke or a sick joke played by some heavenly hand, the new Cosmic armor formed by the Aquarius Constellations had the ability to absorb all magic power attributes, which then allowed Drake to finally merge the Space and Time powers completely.

This discovery had made Drake so happy that he had given the twins a proper beating to commemorate that day. The day when the twins stopped having the upper hand over him.

The only downside that came with Drake’s ’Infinity Power’, was that using infinity halved the range of his Space and Time domains.

In short Drake’s ’Infinity Domain’ could only cover two meters at most. The twins only saving grace was that their domains did not lose any range. If anything, they had it good because their range doubled from 10 meters to 20 meters. And if they activated ’Infinity’ simultaneously they could cover a whole 50 meters.

After failing with that attack, Julia turned back and launched another assault on Drake.

SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!

There was only sounds of Julia’s blades cutting through air.

However, no matter how much she tried, there was no success. Drake was always able to evade every attack.

She was not even able to force him to defend with his Saber. This further annoyed and enraged her.

Finally, Julia gnashed her teeth and resolve shone in her eyes; as she charged at Drake one more time.

She jumped at Drake and cross slashed with both her short swords at Drake as she descended. Unfortunately, it was still futile. Drake still avoided her attack, he made it look almost effortless.

Now Julia was currently facing a big problem which is; she was falling towards Drake with both her arms stretched outwards and her center was completely exposed. She could never be more vulnerable than right now.

Drake finally did something other than evade.

At this time, his Short saber slashed forward. If that Sender Blade made contact with Julia it would definitely split her in half.

The blade closed in only a few inches away from Julia when suddenly her lips parted and she called out. .

"Shadow Transposition!"
