Crave You Forever-Chapter 114: The End
Just as the atmosphere between the brothers softened into that rare, cherished quiet, there was a polite knock on the office door. Eunja slipped in, holding a tablet pressed to her chest and a faint, apologetic smile on her lips. ๐๐ซ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฅ.๐๐๐
"Boss." she said smoothly, bowing slightly before lifting the tablet. "There are a few urgent matters that need your attention. Iโm sorry to interrupt."
Haeun blinked, watching the way Taeun straightened immediately, professionalism sliding back into place.
The easy camaraderie they had been sharing shifted, but Haeun didnโt miss the small, natural way Eunja lingered just a fraction closer than necessary, or how Taeunโs eyes softened in her direction.
The corners of Haeunโs lips lifted knowingly. He rose slowly from his seat, brushing invisible wrinkles from his loose sweater. "Iโll leave you to it.." he said lightly. "Suddenly, I feel like seeing my Alpha."
Taeun shot him a look, but Haeun only smiled wider, patting his brotherโs hand once more before stepping toward the door.
The days blurred into weeks, and before anyone could realize it, four months had passed since that day in the company office. Haeunโs pregnancy had reached its peak, the long nights of discomfort and worry fading into something far sweeter.
Cheon Do-yul had been born, a small, perfect bundle of warmth who had, from the very first moment, wrapped both of his parents around his tiny fingers.
Now, a month later, Haeun was healing well, his body adjusting, his arms often cradling the new life that had become the center of his universe. Suho adored the baby almost as much as Haeun and Yeongsoo did. If Do-yul so much as whined, Suho was the first to shuffle over in his panda slippers, whispering: "Itโs okay, Mini Mino, hyung is here."
That morning, the sun shone gently, painting the sky in pale blues and soft golds. A breeze carried the early bloom of spring flowers, their scent drifting over the park.
The family had decided to take a stroll, Haeun wanted to stretch his legs, Suho wanted to "show Mini Mino the world.." and Yeongsoo carried their picnic bag slung casually over one shoulder.
Do-yul was dressed in a panda onesie so adorable it seemed to capture the attention of everyone they passed. The round ears on his hood bobbed with every tiny movement, and his little mittens, designed like paws, flailed happily when Suho leaned over him.
"See, Mini Mino? We match!" Suho exclaimed, tugging on the zipper of his own panda hoodie to show off the similarity. His grin was toothy and proud. "Now everyone knows youโre my baby brother!"
Haeun adjusted Do-yul gently in his arms, smiling at the sight of Suho puffing out his chest like a miniature protector. "Suho-ah, heโs still too little to understand.." he teased lightly.
But Suho shook his head firmly. "Nope. He understands me. Right, Mini Mino?"
Do-yul cooed, kicking one tiny foot.
Suho gasped and clapped. "See! He answered me!"
Haeun chuckled softly, his heart swelling so much he thought it might burst. He hadnโt imagined his life like this not after everything.
But here he was, walking through the park with not one but two children to call his own, and the Alpha who had held his hand through the storm.
Yeongsoo trailed just behind them, his hands tucked into his coat pockets. He wasnโt speaking much, but his eyes lingered constantly on Haeun, on Suho, on Do-yul, like he was afraid to blink and miss something.
His lips curled faintly at the corners every time Suho let out one of his dramatic exclamations or when Do-yul babbled softly in response to his brotherโs chatter.
They reached a clearing where cherry blossom trees lined the path.
A few petals floated down, catching in Suhoโs hair. He squealed when Haeun brushed them off, declaring dramatically, "Even the flowers like me!"
Haeun laughed, the sound soft and easy. His arms ached a little from holding Do-yul for so long, so Yeongsoo stepped forward, gently taking the baby into his arms. The exchange was seamless, the kind of thing only two people who trusted each other implicitly could pull off without words.
Haeun flexed his fingers and sighed. "I didnโt think Iโd ever say this, but... I feel complete."
Yeongsoo glanced at him, brow arching. "Complete?"
Haeun nodded, his eyes following Suho as the boy darted ahead to chase falling petals. "Yeah. I have Suho, I have Do-yul, and I have you. I never thought a broken Omega like me could find this... could find a family." His voice softened, dropping lower, almost confessional. "Itโs nice. Really, really nice."
Something shifted in Yeongsooโs chest at those words. His fingers adjusted around Do-yul, holding him closer as if to anchor himself.
Haeun continued, almost shyly, "Sometimes I wonder if youโd want to get married... or if I should propose first, since Iโm older." He gave a nervous laugh, rubbing at the back of his neck. "But either way, I donโt think I could love you any more than I already do."
Yeongsoo stopped walking.
Haeun blinked, turning toward him in confusion. "Yeongsoo?"
The Alphaโs gaze was steady, burning with something fierce and determined. He set Do-yul gently into Haeunโs arms again, brushing his fingers over the babyโs tiny hood one last time.
And then, without warning, he dropped to one knee on the park path.
Haeunโs breath hitched.
Suho, who had been hopping under the cherry blossoms, froze mid-step. His eyes widened so far they almost looked cartoonish. "Hyung?! What are you doing?!"
Yeongsoo reached into his pocket, pulling out a small velvet box. The world seemed to still around them, the soft chatter of nearby families fading, the rustle of petals in the wind slowing to a whisper.
When he opened the box, two rings gleamed under the sunlight. Simple, elegant and timeless.
"Haeun.." Yeongsoo said, voice low but unwavering, "youโve changed my life in ways I canโt put into words. You, Suho, and now Do-yul, youโre everything to me. I donโt want just moments with you. I want a lifetime. So, will you marry me?"
Haeunโs heart slammed against his ribs. His throat tightened, eyes stinging with tears.
For a moment, he could only laughโa choked, watery laugh. "If you hadnโt said it, I was going to.." he whispered, voice trembling. "Since Iโm the older one, I thought maybe I should... but you beat me to it."
Yeongsooโs lips curved into a shaky smile.
"Yes.." Haeun said, stronger this time, his hand trembling as he reached down to pull Yeongsoo up. "Yes. A thousand times yes."
Applause rose from a few strangers who had stopped to watch. Suho bounced on his toes, half hiding his face with his sleeves but grinning from ear to ear. "I knew it! I knew it was going to happen today!. I saw the ring first but Hyung didnโt want me to tell you."
Yeongsoo slid the ring onto Haeunโs finger, his own hand shaking slightly. Haeun did the same for him, the metal cool against his skin, but the warmth rushing through his chest made him feel like he was burning alive with happiness.
Their lips met in a gentle kiss, soft and full of promises, and the world around them seemed to disappear.
"Ew!" Suho shouted suddenly, scrunching his nose. "Not in front of Mini Mino!"
Haeun broke into laughter, leaning his forehead against Yeongsooโs as he whispered, "Iโm so happy. I feel complete. Because I already have everything I need."
Do-yul stirred softly in his arms, cooing as if to agree.
And in that perfect moment, surrounded by sunlight, cherry blossoms, and the warmth of his family, Haeun thought to himself.
This feeling... this love... Iโll always crave it forever.
