The moment Kent’s crimson energy erupted, the entire arena shook with the sheer force of his power.
The air itself trembled, and then...
SCHWING!
A piercing sword sound rang out, clear and sharp, like a legendary saber being unsheathed from an ancient scabbard.
The sound was so intense that several spectators in the stands felt a slight chill crawl down their spines, as if an invisible blade had just been drawn against their throats.
Creed’s eyes narrowed, locking onto the dense red aura that now surrounded Kent like a burning storm.
He felt it instantly. This wasn’t just Aura anymore.
This was pure Saber Energy, which meant that this was his opponent’s talent. His opponent’s power had just taken a huge leap forward!
Creed smirked. "Interesting."
Kent smirked back. "Let’s finish this."
BOOM!
Both pounced at each other simultaneously, their figures blurring as they clashed in a wild frenzy of blade and spear!
Kent’s saber weaved through the air, slicing with a perfect balance of grace and savagery, his technique refined to the level of a true swordsman.
Creed, on the other hand, relied on sheer brute force, his spear moves less elegant but overwhelmingly powerful, each strike carrying the weight of a truck!
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Their weapons clashed at insane speeds, moving so fast that the naked eye could barely keep up!
Creed thrusted fiercely, but Kent’s saber would twist at impossible angles, narrowly avoiding disaster and returning a lethal counterattack!
The battle was a storm of pure chaos, neither of them gaining a clear advantage!
Then Kent suddenly leapt back, his saber pulsing with a crimson glow before striking multiple times.
FWOOOSH!
Six massive red crescents exploded outward, each one at least twice as strong as the previous ones!
The sheer pressure of the attack made the very ground tremble!
Creed’s eyes widened slightly. This technique... was at least at the Profound Stage!
It was very powerful!
With no hesitation, Creed teleported away, avoiding the crescents completely, but the moment he reappeared, his instincts screamed at him.
Kent was already smirking.
BOOOOOM!
An enormous beam of blood-red Saber Light erupted from Kent’s weapon, firing directly at Creed’s new position! The attack was so precise that it left no room for defense!
BOOM!
Creed barely managed to raise his spear in time, the impact sending a violent shockwave across the entire arena!
His arm numbed instantly, a deep gash ripping open along his bicep, blood gushing out.
Creed gritted his teeth. Then he smirked. "Alright, time to go all out."
With a single thought, two purple lights flashed around him.
BOOOOOM!
Lilith and Tierra materialized beside him!
Kent’s expression froze. He had almost forgotten that his opponent also had a summoning talent!
F*ck!
Before he could even process what was happening, the battle intensified.
FWOOOSH!
Lilith surged forward, her speed outright eclipsing Creed’s top speed, a blur of lightning and destruction!
At the same time, Tierra teleported mid-air, appearing above Kent with a brutal axe kick heading straight for his skull!
Kent snapped out of his shock and barely managed to raise his saber to block Tierra’s kick. But the moment he did...
WHOOSH!
Tierra teleported away. Leaving him completely exposed.
BOOOOOOM!
Lilith slammed into him like a truck, her entire body crackling with lightning, sending him flying like a ragdoll!
The stench of burnt flesh filled the arena. Accompanied by a loud cry of pain.
Just as Kent was about to crash into the ground, Creed teleported ahead of him, his spear shaft already raised.
Kent’s eyes widened in horror, but it was too late.
WHACK!
The blow smashed directly into his side, sending an awful cracking noise through the air!
His shoulder twisted grotesquely, his body spinning like a wheel before he finally slammed into the ground!
Intense pain shot through his body, but Kent barely had a second to even notice it.
BAM!
Tierra teleported in front of him and literally... KICKED HIM STRAIGHT IN THE BALLS!
The impact was so vicious, so merciless, that the entire crowd collectively winced!
Kent’s soul practically left his body. But it wasn’t over. As Kent curled up in pure agony, Creed teleported behind him and kicked him forward with tremendous strength.
Straight into Lilith!
Lilith, whose fists were now charged with enough electricity to power an entire city, pulled her arm back and struck fiercely!
BAM!
She punched him directly in the face!
CRACK!
The sickening sound of bones snapping echoed through the arena as Kent’s entire body lifted off the ground from the sheer impact, flying back like a broken kite!
But Creed wasn’t done.
Before Kent could even take a breath, Creed and his summons swarmed him like a pack of wild beasts!
BOOM! BAM! SMASH!
The one-sided beatdown began.
Every time Kent tried to roll away, Tierra teleported in front of him and kicked him back.
Every time he tried to crawl away, Creed would smash him back down with the spear shaft.
Every time he even thought of resisting, Lilith would shock him so badly that his entire body spasmed!
The beating was merciless. It was relentless. It was absolutely BRUTAL.
Outside the combat arena, Harold and his friend, Greg, watched, eyes wide with pure excitement.
Greg whistled. "Damn. The brute is savage."
Harold nodded. "I thought the weakling had a chance at first... but nope. This is a slaughter."
Greg grinned. "I like the way he ignores the guy’s screams and just keeps pummeling him. What do you think he’ll do next?"
Harold smirked. "Something worse."
"I hope so."
They both leaned forward, eagerly watching the massacre continue.
Suddenly...
BOOOOOM!
A terrifying pressure crashed down upon the entire training hall like an invisible tidal wave, suffocating and crushing down on everything in sight!
The air itself shivered, and for a brief second, it felt like a gigantic, unseen blade was hovering just above the necks of every single expert in the building!
The Awakened warriors scattered around the hall—each one an elite fighter in their own right—flinched instinctively, their muscles tensing as their battle instincts screamed at them!
Some frowned deeply, others turned pale, while a few of the weaker ones actually took a cautious step back, their bodies reacting before their minds even fully understood what they were feeling.
Then, BANG!
The glass doors of the training hall blasted open, nearly coming off their hinges as a figure surged inside like a storm!
A beautiful red-haired woman strode in with an ice-cold expression, her piercing emerald eyes sweeping across the room like a queen assessing her domain.
She was clad in a tight black outfit, her shocking curves and toned physique only adding to the deadly aura she radiated.
Despite her beauty, there was nothing soft about her—her presence alone carried a chilling, blade-like sharpness, as if just standing too close to her might cut through your skin.
Her gaze flickered around for half a second, searching. Then...
"AAARGH!"
A loud, pain-filled scream echoed from one of the combat arenas.
Her eyes narrowed instantly, and the temperature in the room plummeted as her aura grew even colder and sharper.
Then she disappeared.
In the blink of an eye, she reappeared inside the combat arena, directly behind Creed—just as he was about to deliver a devastating kick to Kent’s already bruised and swollen ankles!
The moment she arrived, the entire atmosphere shifted.
The air around Creed suddenly turned razor-sharp, like millions of invisible swords had formed all around him, each one hovering just a hair’s breadth away from his skin, ready to slice him into ribbons at the slightest mistake!
Creed, in the middle of his motion, paused instantly.
Then, as if sensing the lethal presence behind him, he slowly turned around, completely calm.
Standing there, staring at him with icy emerald eyes, was the beautiful red-haired woman.
She glanced at Kent, her gaze flickering over his horribly wounded and bloodied state. Then, she looked back at Creed and spoke coldly.
"Do you have anything to say for yourself?"
At that moment, another voice resounded.
"BIG SISTER, WAIT!!!"
A panting, disheveled Trent burst into the training hall, swearing under his breath as he ran like his life depended on it!
His face was red, and he was breathing so hard he sounded like he had just finished sprinting across the entire city.
The moment he reached the arena, he rushed up beside his sister, grabbing onto her arm in a panic. "Don’t make a scene! People are watching!"
Meanwhile, Creed tilted his head slightly before finally responding, his voice calm and even.
"I haven’t done anything wrong."
The red-haired woman’s cold expression didn’t change.
Creed continued, his gaze unwavering.
"I was sparring with him. Since the young man hasn’t surrendered, it would be disrespectful to my opponent if I held back. I am merely giving him my best... as a sign of respect. What, I’m not allowed to beat my opponent?"
The pressure around him intensified, the sharpness in the air growing even more suffocating, yet Creed remained utterly unfazed.
He merely raised an eyebrow. "Do you even realize why I did what I did?"
The tension between them crackled as an intense standoff formed. The entire training hall had gone dead silent, every single spectator holding their breath.
Then...
"Trent."
The woman’s voice was firm. "Is it true?"
Trent, still holding onto her arm nervously, hesitated. He glanced at Creed, gulped, then mumbled under his breath.
"...It’s true."
She sighed deeply. Then, after a moment, she retracted her terrifying aura and exhaled. "Fine."
She crossed her arms. "I won’t take action. You can leave."
However, Creed didn’t move. Instead, he calmly said;
"I’m not leaving."
A brief flicker of confusion crossed her face. "What?"
Creed’s blue eyes gleamed coldly. "I’m not leaving. Nor am I stopping until I receive compensation."
Instantly, the pressure returned, this time even more terrifying than before.
Yet, Creed didn’t even flinch.
Instead, he smirked slightly. "If I don’t get compensated, every time I see either of your little brothers, I’ll drag them into this combat arena and make sure to beat them to a near-death state. Every. Single. Time."
Trent, who had been standing beside his sister, gasped dramatically and stumbled back a step, his face going pale.
Kent, still lying bruised and battered on the ground, spat out blood and gritted his teeth angrily. "Do you think I’m afraid of you?!"
Before he could say anything else...
BZZZZZT!
A violent surge of purple lightning exploded in the air as Lilith turned her head towards him.
The moment her cold, piercing gaze landed on him, the lightning crackling around her intensified ominously.
Kent froze.
Then, without another word, he immediately shut up.
The red-haired woman watched this entire exchange silently, her sharp eyes narrowing slightly as she looked back at Creed.
Then, after a long pause, she let out a small breath and spoke. "Fine."
She stepped forward, staring at him with a newfound hint of approval in her eyes.
Then she turned around and said—
"Follow me."
