Criminal X : Epitome Of Evil-Chapter 581: Pablo Castillo : Epitome Of Redemption
If Flashy had three wishes and he could ask anything he wanted, then unlike Pablo, he would have asked for different things.
Hot girls, strength or money and a ten inch tool.
He wouldn't have asked what Pablo had asked. Pablo had asked nothing for himself as his wishes were to make him free of regrets and pain of lost love. But Flashy, well, he would have asked for nine inches…
Hearing his wish, Pablo jested that Flashy admitted that he had a small one.
At that, Flashy clearly refused and told everyone he wasn't small. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
But when everyone looked at him with doubt, he admitted:
"Not very small at least."
Everyone laughed hearing that.
Laughter echoed in the dining hall of the King's castle and for the first time, Pablo laughed with all his heart.
Flashy saw the laughing face of his boss and seeing that, his embarrassment died. He was happy he managed to make Pablo laugh.
But he did glance at Lashes, the love of his life.
It was hard for Flashy to forget Harlia as he had really fallen in love with the Admiral but his pain got overshadowed by Pablo's pain.
No one paid attention to Flashy but amidst this, Lashes came to Flashy and said some kind words like, it will be fine. The pain will go away. Don't look at my chest.
Flashy had straight out cried as it had been too long since he had heard such words from someone other than his mom (not the chest part).
After that, he and Lashes became friends and then their friendship turned into love. Lashes taught him ways to behave around girls and he learned all of them. He had become a wise man now. But of course, he was still Flashy. So he can't help but say something that would make everyone laugh.
Lashes caught Flashy's gaze and she smiled.
"I don't mind small."
Flashy went stunned.
And the next second, amidst the laughter…
"Waaaaaaa!! I love you so much!"
Flashy bawled his eyes out.
Everyone laughed more and after a few more minutes, everything finally calmed down and Pablo looked at Andrezj.
"Where have you gone off to, Andre? I believed you would be the last person to go away before knowing if Sera would breathe again or not."
Andrezj smiled. "I was absolutely sure that you would make it happen. I had no doubts. I was sure my dearest would wake up again. You never came back empty handed from anywhere after all. So I went to pick some flowers for her as her welcome."
Pablo nodded. The male Angel knew him well.
"Also," Andrezj added. "I went to do some other important work as well."
Pablo raised one of his brows.
Everyone also paid attention to the angel. Even Cupid.
"What is that?" Pablo asked.
Andrezj replied, "I went to tell everything to Jaun Elia."
Pablo's brows shot up.
And that's when everyone noticed it too.
Jaun Elia wasn't present in the dining hall of the King's castle.
"I forgot about him. Where is he? What about his book? Call him here." Pablo said.
"He is in the final phases of his story. After the war, when you said that you would bring Sera back he also decided to finish his book after you were done with that. He wrote everything that these people had done for this world. He had finished writing the whole story, only your part was left. The closure."
"So where is he now?"
"When you went to the Gods, I went to him. He had arrived late in this castle and when he was just about to enter this hall, he met me and I told him that you went to meet the Gods. He was surprised and then, he found a place to write and asked me to tell everything about the conversation you were having with the Gods. He was so excited he started writing right away."
"Keep going." Pablo said.
Andrezj carried on.
"I told him what you did after coming out of your room after one year. I told him that you have ten slaves, and then you gave them back their freedom. I told him that you were tired of fighting. Then I relayed each and every word spoken between you and God Altor to him and he wrote all of that.
I also told him all three wishes that you made and when you were finally back, I temporarily gave him eyes that could see everything and I am sure, he is writing everything that is happening right now. How you and my dearest embraced each other, how you reunited with your little sister. And that isn't all I also told him something else as well."
Pablo frowned. "What else did you tell him?"
Andrezj sighed. "Don't get angry but I thought this would make his story better so I told him."
"What did you tell him?" Pablo asked again and he wasn't able to think what could Andrezj have told to Jaun.
The male Angel didn't made them wait and revealed:
"I told him all about your previous life on Earth."
Pablo's eyes widened.
"You did not…"
"Yes. I told him and he was the happiest person alive after knowing that. And while writing, he had tears in his eyes. I told him how Hitler manipulated you and how you became after that."
Pablo went silent.
He didn't know what to say.
Everyone else didn't know the whole thing about Pablo but they didn't ask. For them, the current Pablo mattered.
And to Andrezj's surprise, for Pablo as well…
"Past is past. It doesn't matter anymore. If it helps his story then I am fine with it." Pablo didn't mind that at all.
Andrezj sighed in relief.
"He must be finished by now, right? There is nothing left to write for him anymore." Pablo said.
Andrezj shrugged as he couldn't answer that. He didn't know if Juan Elia was finished with his work or not.
At that moment…
KHRICK!
The door of the dining hall opened.
Everyone looked there.
And when they looked, they smiled.
A man with a thick book and glasses appeared.
"You are finally here, Jaun." Pablo greeted as the man was none other than Jaun Elia.
Jaun Elia bowed and walked towards Pablo's chair.
Pablo gestured to Sera for something and Sera obliged.
She pushed her chair back and Jaun Elia stood beside Pablo.
Pablo turned his chair to face the writer.
Now they were both face to face and before Pablo could ask anything…
Jaun Elia sat on one knee.
He kneeled in front of Pablo.
Pablo was taken aback as he didn't expect such a sudden kneeling.
"What is it? You don't have to do this." Pablo said.
But Jaun shook his head, the thick book clenched under his armpit.
Pablo opened his mouth but before he could say something…
"I want to say some words to you." Jaun said, his head hung down.
"Sure.. I guess?" Pablo didn't mind.
Then, with a nod…
"Pablo Castillo," Jaun Elia began, his voice calm but resonating like a bell in the air, "you walked through fire, blood, and shadows. You embraced what the world called evil, and you turned it into the only force strong enough to heal. History will not call you a criminal. It will call you… a reckoning."
Pablo's lips twitched. "Reckoning, huh? I like the sound of that."
Jaun Elia nodded and held the notebook aloft.
He didn't show the front of the notebook yet.
"The world shall read my story but in reality," Jaun Elia said softly. "It is your story. And the world will remember it. Not the chaos you sowed, but the balance you restored. The lives you gave back. The love you refused to abandon."
Jaun's word hung in the air and Pablo let out a slow breath, the weight of centuries of scheming, of losses, of victories, finally easing from his shoulders.
"Funny…" he muttered. "I never thought I'd hear that about myself."
Jaun Elia raised his head and looked Pablo in the eye. "No one else could have done it. Not the Gods, not the mortals, not anyone. You shaped the end. You shaped the beginning. And now…"
Jaun Elia finally showed the front of the book to Pablo.
"Your chapter is finished."
Everyone left their seats and darted their eyes at the book.
Each one of them wanted to see, that included Pablo as well.
His eyes fell on the cover of the book and in golden engraved letters, everyone read the title of the book out loud.
"Pablo Castillo : Epitome Of Redemption."
Pablo went silent.
Everyone looked at him with eyes that excluded respect and they all agreed to everything that Jaun said about Pablo. And in that moment, all their hearts told them to do only one thing.
They all arrived in front of Pablo and just like Jaun, they kneeled in front of him.
Pablo was out of words.
He had no idea what to say anymore.
All the crimes and sins he did, he felt like he was forgiven for all of them.
From Criminal X : Epitome Of Evil…
To Pablo Castillo : Epitome Of Redemption…
He came a long way.
He held the hand of Sera and Freya and after living two lifetimes, he finally found peace and with that…
The world exhaled, as if it had been holding its breath for a millennium.

[[Criminal X : Epitome Of Evil. Finished!]]
[[ Hey, KhyaaL here. It was a hard journey. And it got even harder whenever I wrote about Sera doing naughty things with Pablo. Haha. Anyway, I wanted to reach 600 chapters but it ended right here. But still, it's better than most writers. If you reached this far, if you witnessed Pablo to the end, know that my heart goes out to you.
And I'll be honest, no one was reading this novel anymore. Anyone else would have dropped it. But I held on. In hopes that someone like you might come to this point. I finished this novel for you. Thank you for that. I got no money from this novel for the past 7 months. But I held on. I got no comments, no reviews, no praises, but I held on.
I hope whoever you are, you have a good life and never stop reading. AI is already fcking writers as things stand. I saved my back from chatGPT a couple of times myself. Anyway, I will never stop writing and I will write something that will be loved by the whole world. Take care, mate.
Yours sincerely, truly, obediently,
KhyaaL—A writer trying not to die starving. ]]
