Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough-Chapter 1710: Strolling Through the Eastern Central Region~
Chapter 1710: Strolling Through the Eastern Central Region~
Seeing how everyone was starting to panic inside the city along with feeling the Dao Seed Realm cultivator’s divine sense sweeping all over the place like a headless chicken running in circles, Xuan Hao understood that it might not be for the best for him to leave before any of the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators that belonged to the major power that the city belonged to.
As for the potential problems that this might cause for someone like Chu Yang who was cultivating in seclusion at the periphery? He didn’t really think much about it, as someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm wouldn’t bother with the different wandering cultivators cultivating in the area around their city unless they wanted to get on the bad side of the wandering cultivators who made up most of the revenue and resources generated through their cities.
Not to mention, the chaos he had caused this time around wasn’t something that could be done by someone in the Dao Seed Realm. Meaning that the power behind the city would be incredibly cautious in dealing with the situation. Fearing that the formation being broken like he had done might be a trap of some kind.
No matter what, staying around any longer might end up implicating Chu Yang if those Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators noticed him and he had no intention of doing that, as it could end up interrupting his disciple’s meditation-
Whoosh~
Soon leaving the place to look around the Eastern Central Region on his own while Chu Yang finished his meditation. After all, with how he could sense Chu Yang’s location through the safety measures he had placed on him, he would be able to find out almost immediately when he began moving around after his meditation came to an end. Allowing him to rush back immediately.
Not that he really planned to rush back the second he sensed Chu Yang exiting his meditation session, as he was planning to get a proper look around the Eastern Central Region. Not just because he was curious about the Eastern Central Region and wanted to learn more about the place, but also because the Eastern Central Region was located far closer to the Southern Central Region compared to the Northern Central Region that the Star Shattering Sect was located close to and it would be easier for him to learn more about the Southern Central Region in the Eastern Central Region.
The reason why he wanted to learn more about the Southern Central Region was rather simple, it was the location where the strongest powers of the continent had gathered and also the place where the true core of the continent was located.
Even now, he still doesn’t really know a lot about the Southern Central Region, outside of the fact that there were more than a hundred major powers present in the region. Although, he could at the very least guess that there was a very high likelihood that there would be someone at the Star Creation Realm present in a region like the Southern Central Region.
The main reason for his confidence in this was that it was very clear that there were powers like the nine core faiths that existed above a major power like the Blue Sea Empire that already had someone at the Land Creation Realm backing them... And the only way something like that could happen would be if there was someone above the Land Creation Realm backing them. If not, he doubted that those nine core faiths would be able to remain as dominant and respected as they were throughout the Southern Central Region and the rest of the continent.
Outside of religious organizations that seemed to dominate most of the Southern Central Region, it was also the region where hidden ancient sects could be found with relative ease, as he had already learnt about two such hidden ancient sects that had managed to establish themselves in the Southern Central Region.
Although... Unlike the Star Shattering Sect, these two ancient hidden sects were true hidden ancient sects that lived up to their reputation of remaining in a sealed state with only a small territory under their control. Only if someone was dumb enough to recklessly intrude upon their small territory would they make themselves known to the rest of the world by dealing with the offender.
In a sense, the thing he wanted to learn about the most in the Southern Central Region wasn’t the nine core faiths, but instead the two hidden ancient sects, as they would be the best sources to learn from in case the Star Shattering Sect wanted to continue developing in its current direction as a hidden ancient sect. Maybe he would even be able to engage with those two hidden ancient sects in the future with his current identity as someone from a hidden ancient sect himself.
Even though... he had a feeling that this might not be enough, as he would need something that could at least confirm him as someone from the same eras as them, something that seemed difficult to accomplish on the surface, but wasn’t really that difficult given that he did also hold a temporary elder status for the Mirage Sect, a clearly well-known sect in the past that was by no means weak from what he had managed to learn about the Mirage Sect during his time in their mystic realm.
With that in mind, the Star Shattering Sect could potentially portray itself as a remnant of the Mirage Sect when interacting with other ancient hidden sects in the future. Although, this also came with certain risks, as he had no idea about the pasts of these ancient hidden sects and whether they were hostile to the Mirage Sect or were on friendly terms with them.
Thinking about it, he would have to first learn more before starting to portray himself and the Star Shattering Sect as once being part of the Mirage Sect. After all, there was a very real chance that the ones who had destroyed the Mirage Sect in the past were still around and could potentially come to finish the job if they learnt about the Star Shattering Sect being a remnant of the Mirage Sect.
Given just how powerful the enemies of a sect like the Mirage Sect should be, he saw no chance of surviving in case he ended up being targeted by someone like that.
Slow investigation it is for now... At least until I learn about the situation of those two ancient hidden sects and their history...
Shaking his head as he thought about this with a somewhat wry smile on his face, Xuan Hao felt that he had been a bit impatient in his thoughts when it came to learning more about ancient hidden sects.
The entire thing needed the utmost caution, and he couldn’t afford to be careless when investigating this kind of thing in the future, as he still had no clue why ancient hidden sects even needed to remain hidden in the first place nor what would happen if they didn’t remain hidden.
After all, they weren’t really hidden so to speak but had just limited their scope of influence to the extreme.
The only clue he had about it was that there weren’t any ancient hidden sects who truly expanded their influence like the different religious organization or other major powers present on the continent. Indicating very clearly that they were afraid of something.
What they were afraid of, he had no idea, though he did have a few guesses that it should either be related to some power outside the Ewaria Continent or the different gods that the religions on the continent worshipped.
After all, he understood very well that the gods that were being worshiped were real and did really exist, it was just that these gods weren’t on the Ewaria Continent as far as he was aware, but somewhere else.
In a sense, the different churches and cults that existed on the Ewaria Continent weren’t the true headquarters of these faiths, but instead just branches of a much larger entity. Fearing them wouldn’t exactly be surprising, but he still felt that this wasn’t the reason why the ancient hidden sects remained in their current inactive state.
"No matter what it is, it seems like it will be difficult to find out more about hidden ancient sects in the future..." Muttering this to himself as he was leisurely strolling through the air while looking down on a large city not much different from the one Chu Yang was cultivating outside of that had appeared below him, Xuan Hao slowly descended before passing through the barrier guarding the city without being noticed.
Well... He wasn’t unnoticed so to speak but had instead just fooled the formation into believing that he was just someone at the Domain Lord Realm.
The reason for this didn’t have much to do with the formation being weak or his own Dao of Formation surpassing the creator of the formation, but instead the simple fact that his cultivation was far too high. Allowing him to easily hide his true cultivation base.
As for why he decided to enter this city? He wanted to take a look around and see if there was anywhere he could buy information on the Southern Central Region... And of course also to get a closer look at an intact formation core created by a Saint Realm Formation Master, as it would help his own comprehension of the Dao of Formations and could potentially even take him one step closer to reaching the Saint Realm himself.
