The children exchanged glances, uncertainty.

Li Jingxuan didn’t take his brother’s words seriously and said with a smile: "Only food is wroth thinking about."
Li Jain chuckled: "Well, if you’re hungry, then I suppose it’s worth thinking about. Now hurry along the stars."
When it comes to their dad’s cooking, the children knew it was a rare treat that could turn a dull day into something magical. They ran up the stairs excitedly. After running up the stairs many times, they’ve gotten used to it. So even if, there’s no competition, they still can’t help themselves.
After changing their clothes, and washing their hands as instructed, they came back to the kitchen. Li Jain was holding a pink tasty looking treat in his hand. One look and they could its strawberry flavor, Li Juanxin’s favorite.
"Dad is that for me?" Li Juanxin asked excitedly.
"Yes, the first try is yours. This is to celebrate your achievements today." Li Jain handed the treat to Li Juanxin and continue: "After you’re everyone would have their."
Li Juanxin took the treat with wide eyes, his fingers brushing against the soft, cold surface: "I can’t believe you made this just for me!" He exclaimed
"Um... Dad made it for all of us. You’re just having the first taste." Li Jingxuan corrected dryly, hiding his envy and eagerness.
Li Juanxin ignores him and took a small bite. His eyes lit up as the sweet flavor burst in his mouth: "It’s amazing! Dad what is this called?"
Li Jain: "This is strawberry cream delight called ice cream. The one you have is strawberry flavored."
This is another recipe he came across in his modern dessert cookbook. His mood has been a bit up and down lately. This is the way he came up with to made up for it. Although his unstable mood was cause by his cultivation, he doesn’t want his children to be afraid of him.
"Xinxin, how does it taste?" Li Jingxuan asked eagerly
"It’s so creamy, icy, and delicious!" Li Juanxin replied, savoring every bite.
"Is it really as delicious as you say, or are you trying to impress us?" Li Jingxuan asked with a frowned.
Li Juanxin was speechless, thinking to himself: How many ways are there to say delicious?
Li Jingxuan just wanted to have a bite, but Juanxin wasn’t feeling so generous. If the one he has was the only one, then he wouldn’t mind sharing. But there are still a lot remaining, he, having the first bite, was just a privilege he got by his own hard work!
"You’ll just have to wait and try it!" Li Juanxin continues licking his ice cream.
Li Jingxuan felt like Li Juanxin was taking way too long and he tapped his foot impatiently and urged: "Come on, can’t you eat faster?"
Li Juanxin gives him a smug grin as he took another bite slowly: "I can’t eat any faster than this. I would get frost bite."
Li Jingxuan rolled his eyes in annoyance: "Frostbite? Really? You’re just stalling. Not cute!"
"You are just jealous." Li Juanxin smirked, reveling in his brother’s frustration: "Admit it, you’re just mad that you have to wait for me to finish."
"Jealous? no way! I just don’t see why you have to get such privilege for a small iron!"
"It’s not a piece of iron; it’s an honor medal."
Li Jingxuan: "Uh huh, and your behavior is very honorable!"
Li Juanxin: "Stop being sour."
The fox, Fluffy who had just came back from taking a walk, hear their voices and ran into. Fluffy’s ears perked up, twitching with excitement as it bounded towards Li Juanxin.
He looked at the ice cream in Li Juanxin’s hand and tilted his head and tried to reach for it.
"No, you can’t have any," Li Jingxuan quickly said, fearing the aftermath of a hyperactive fox.
Fluffy let out a soft whimper, turning on its cute mode and looking up at Li Juanxin with big, pleading eyes.
"You can’t seriously give him a bite, can you?" Li Jingxuan protested when he saw Juanxin was about to reconcile.
"Maybe just a tiny lick" Li Juanxin scooped some ice cream on his fingers and brought it to the fox snout.
Fluffy sniffed, his tail wagging furiously as he leaned closer, tongue flicking out to catch the sweet treat. watching the fox savor the flavor.
Each lick from the fox was met with delighted squeaks, it even rolled on its belly expressing its sheer joy.
"Oh, Come on, enough of that!"
Li Jingxuan couldn’t stand it anymore and dash forward.
Luckily, he was held back by Li Zhang who caught him right in time.
"What are you doing? Have you lost it? You’re acting like a wild boar!" Li Juanxin frowned and scolded him.
"Oh, you think so? Then let me show you how wild boars behaved!"
With that, Li Jingxuan wriggled his way free from Li Zhang’s grip and lunged forward. The next moment, Li Juanxin’s entire ice cream cone was in his mouth.

"Yes, I did!" Li Jingxuan grinned with triumph, ice cream dribbling down his chin: "What are you going to do about it?!"
"You’re going to pay for that!" Li Juanxin shouted
"And who’s going to make me?"
"I will! You just wait." He ran after Li Jingxuan around the kitchen: "Give that back to me!"
"Never, it’s your fault for eating so slowly."
"How I eat has nothing to do with you!" Li Juanxin continues to chase after him.
Li Jingxuan suddenly stops and shivers a little: "So Cold."
"I told you about frostbite, but you didn’t listen. Good for you." Li Juanxin snorted and went back to sit.
Now that Jingsheng has already eaten the ice cream, there’s nothing he could do about it.
"Ok, enough of the teasing. Come on, each of you can have yours." Li Jain called out helplessly.
"Dad, I want the chocolate flavor." Li Jingsheng said, licking the remnants of ice cream from his fingers.
"You sure you don’t want the strawberry ice cream?" Li Jain asked teasingly
Li Jingxuan frowned: "No, it’s not that delicious after all."
Li Juanxin ignored him and took another strawberry flavor ice cream. After the brothers each got their desire flavors, they sat in the backyard, enjoying themselves.
