Ye Anxin chose a western restaurant near Su Yichen’s company. After reserving a table, she sent a message to both Su Yichen and Li Qingyang!

While waiting for Su Yichen and Li Qingyang to arrive, Ye Anxin habitually took a book out of her backpack and laid it in front of her on the table to read!

"Oh! Then let’s order our meal!" Ye Anxin nodded, waved for a waiter, picked up the menu, and directly ordered a western dish she liked, then ordered another for Su Yichen, adding, "Remember, no peppers; my friend doesn’t eat spicy food!"

Putting down her knife and fork, Ye Anxin retrieved her phone from her pocket. At the sight of the caller ID, her hand shook, almost dropping the phone!

With just one glance, Su Yichen knew who was calling!

It had to be the Mu Family’s butler! For five years, Ye Anxin had continuously kept in touch with the butler, always staying updated on her son’s situation!

Every time Mu Beiting went on a business trip and wasn’t home, the butler would call Ye Anxin. During these times, Ye Anxin would sneak back to Jin City to see her son!

Though each time she merely hid in a corner and never spoke to her son, just one glimpse made Ye Anxin perfectly happy!

Su Yichen guessed correctly. The first words Ye Anxin uttered into the phone were a trembling, "Butler!"

Su Yichen couldn’t make out what the butler was saying on the other end, but he could clearly see Ye Anxin’s hand holding the phone tremble more and more violently!

"Okay, I understand, I’ll go right away!" After saying her final words, Ye Anxin, with reddened eyes and a trembling hand, hung up the call!

Su Yichen nonchalantly asked, "Mu Beiting left Jin City again?"

"Yes! I can’t stay to have lunch with you now; I need to fly back to Jin City immediately! I want to see my son!" Ye Anxin nodded as she spoke, simultaneously putting the book on the table into her backpack!

Su Yichen pressed down on her hand, gently saying, "Steel needs iron, just like one needs food! Even if you’re rushing back to Jin City, you should at least eat first! Eat, and I’ll have someone buy you a plane ticket! Once you’re done, I’ll take you to the airport! Even if you rush over now, there might not be an immediate flight!"

Ye Anxin hesitated, looking at Su Yichen, "But...!"

"No buts! Listen to me!" He said, not waiting for Ye Anxin’s response, as he picked up his phone from the table and called his assistant!

Throughout, Ye Anxin watched Su Yichen intently, not retracting her gaze until he hung up the call!

Su Yichen joked with a smile, "Alright, it’s all settled for you! Eat quickly, and I’ll take you to the airport! If you’re late, I won’t be responsible!"

"Okay!" Ye Anxin nodded, quickly picking up her knife and fork, her hand trembling as she ate the food in front of her!

Thinking about seeing her son soon, she couldn’t contain her excitement within her heart!

Over these five years in Han City, besides sneaking back to see her son, she hadn’t met anyone!

She severed ties with Yueyue and occasionally called her mother to assure her she was safe!

By the second year in Han City, Ye An’s mother knew all about what had happened to Ye Anxin! Though her heart ached for her daughter, she was helpless and had no solution! All she could do was tell her daughter not to worry about her and to stay in Han City properly!
