Chapter 36 - The First mistake of Witch of the heaven
Chapter: Meeting of Princess Alice part 1
After clearing the table, Lucretia returned with a tray holding three cups of freshly brewed tea.
The fragrant aroma of herbs filled the cozy living room as she placed a delicate porcelain cup before each of them.
Lucretia gracefully sank into her seat, sipping her tea with a relaxed air.
Princess Alice, ever poised, sat primly, her hands folded over her lap, though the faint blush from earlier lingered on her cheeks.
Asahi leaned back in his chair, his curious eyes flicking between the two women.
The silence was comfortable, punctuated only by the soft clinking of teacups.
Finally, Princess Alice set her cup down gently and straightened her posture, her expression turning serious.
"Your cooking was delicious. It was my first time eating something like that," she said, her voice calm yet filled with sincerity. "Once again, thank you very much, Lord Asahi"
Then, with an air of formality, she continued, "I suppose it's time for me to formaly introduce myself."
Asahi tilted his head, his curiosity piqued. "introduction? Do we have to do that?"
He already knew who she was.
Princess Alice offered a warm smile, shaking her head lightly. "It's just a formality." Her emerald eyes met his with a gentle yet unwavering gaze. "As you may know, I am Princess Alice Louise of Navarre, a Speaker of the Witenagamot of Greenwich. You may also call me Alice... or even big Sister Alice, if you'd like." A playful glint flashed in her eyes before she continued, "I've been searching for you for quite some time, Lord Asahi."
Asahi blinked and confused. "Witenagamot of Greenwich?"
Princess Alice nodded. "Yes. We are the Mage Association of London—more like of a research organization. We're responsible for studying and concealing supernatural events."
Lucretia, noticing Asahi's puzzled expression, decided to clarify. "Asahi, Every country has an organization dedicated to keeping the supernatural world hidden from ordinary people."
"Then what about in this country?" Asahi's curiosity asked.
"Here, there are seven organizations protecting this country: [Female Worf], [Eagle Of the Blue Sky], [Olden Dame], [Capital of Lilies], [Aegis], and [Copper Black Cross] and [Bronze Black Cross]" Lucretia paused before adding, "They are collectively known as the Seven Sisters."
Asahi's eyes widened.
Seven organizations?
That was the first hearing that.
He only knew of the Copper Black Cross and Bronze Black Cross—the ones the heroine was affiliated with. But this... this was more than he expected.
Lucretia arched an eyebrow, her lips curving into a subtle smirk as she sipped her tea. "It appears you have another purpose beside of my research, it was for searching our little Campione here?"
Princess Alice nodded, her tone steady. "Indeed, Madam. I'm here to clarify things regarding thing about battle with the heretic god of another world years ago."
Lucretia's expression grew serious. "Ah, I see. You're talking about the 'Greatest Mystery case, aren't you?"
Alice nodded firmly. "Yes."
Lucretia didn't look surprised. It was as if she had already anticipated this.
"What is that greatest mystery?" On the other hand, Asahi frowned, curious about what kind of case makes everyone curious.
"You didnt know?" Lucretia looked at him, pretending to be confused.
She took a deep breath before answering. "A year ago, a strange calamity shook the world. A massive surge of magical power erupted—a phenomenon caused by an unknown god who was enacting their myth."
Asahi listened carefully, but as the explanation continued, he felt stiff.
His fingers curled slightly around his teacup as he tried to keep his expression neutral.
His mind, however, was racing.
Isn't that....
US?!
'This is bad!'
Big time!
A really big mess-up time!
The more he listened to the case, the more he realized that disaster was coming from them.

Asahi had no idea how much chaos he had caused.
Sure, he had successfully concealed Tet's divine presence and location, but there was one tiny little detail he hadn't accounted for—
The Miko and Witches of the world.
He had completely overlooked that all who possessed [Spirit Eyes]—mystics capable of glimpsing divine history—had seen Tet's arrival.
They had witnessed history bending.
The very fabric of mythology twisted upon itself to accommodate a god who wasn't supposed to exist here.
They had noticed.
And now, the red-haired king appeared fighting a god in the public.
The supernatural world was hunting for answers.
Hearing this, Asahi couldn't help but imagine Tet grinning smugly at the situation.
Which, as it turned out—
She absolutely was.
Hearing this story, Asahi couldn't help but imagine Tet grinning at hearing and laughing in this situation.
Which actually did.
In the inner realm, Tet was watching her expression, grinning.
Not just any grin. A shit-eating, "this is hilarious" kind of grin.
The smug god floated lazily in the air, hands behind his head, spinning in slow circles.
'Ohhh, so that's what they're calling it? "The Greatest Mystery"? Pretty nice dramatic, huh? I like it.' Giving thumbs up from Tet
'Tet...' Asahi's eye twitched dangerously. 'Do you even realize how BAD this is?!'
Their casual life is getting in danger...
Tet waved him off. 'Relax, Asahi. What's a little world-shaking catastrophe? It's just a magic eruption and seen my origin. Besides, it's not like anyone actually found out about us.'
Amaterasu nodded, agreeing with Tet: "Tet-dono is right, master. How about you ask Lucretia-dono what happened afterward?"
Asahi exhaled sharply, then turned to Lucretia. "S-So... what happened afterward?"
Lucretia smiled reassuringly. "Fortunately, there were no casualties. However, after Princess Alice here declared that a new Campione had slain the god behind it, all organizations around the globe began investigating. But in the end, they found nothing. Eventually, they gave up, and the incident became known as the most mysterious case in the supernatural world."
Then, she glanced at Alice knowingly. "I assume this is why you came here. You want to prove Asahi exists, don't you?"
Lucretia knows that after the investigation, some of the mages' other associations began criticizing her for making some failed predictions, which caused a big scandal.
It was known for the first mistake of the Witch of Heaven.
Asahi face: (; ꒪ö꒪)
"What!" Asahi was flabbergasted, and quickly looked at Princess Alice with wariness.
Princess Alice was amused at his reaction but shook her head and said. "I-i think you misunderstood something, Madam. It was a coincidence, and I don't have a plan to expose him to them. I am sure they are already aware of his existence now." While drinking her tea, leisure
Asahi sighed in relief at hearing Princess Alice's answer. He knew his actions from the battle had made other organizations aware he existed.
"Then, what do you want from me?" Asahi asks.
"Didn't I say earlier?" Alice tilted her head, a knowing smile playing on her lips. "I just want to ask about what happened years ago."
...
Asahi paused, staring at her.
"...That's it?" He asked slowly, even the two goddesses had the same thought inside, watching, expecting some kind of trick,
"Yes." Alice nodded calmly.
Lucretia, watching the exchange with mild amusement, chuckled softly.
"Oh my, were you expecting an interrogation, dear?"
"..."
Asahi didn't answer immediately.
He had prepared himself for something far worse—If Princess questions about the battle, demands for information.
He will think about it.
However, if she attempts to drag him into supernatural politics.
Asahi will erase her memory about him and he will blacklist her into her heart to not meeting her again.
Fortunately, it's just his magic?
That was... surprisingly reasonable.
"I've been gathering information on you since the 'Greatest Mystery' occurred," Princess Alice continued, at the point her emerald gaze never left him.
Who wouldn't be excited?
How can he hide from another elite magician?
Did he use concealment magic, never heard before?
How can he make a mirror dimension?
What kind of power did he use in battle?
How can he sense her?
An unknown magic of the Age of gods, unlike anything documented before—something even she, the Sage Princess, had never heard of.
Alice leaned in, eyes gleaming with fascination. "I was curious about your magic. I've heard that the power you wield—[Dimensional Magic]—is unlike anything documented before."
She placed a hand on his. "Please, I merely wish to understand it."
"Pfft"
Lucretia burst into laughter. "So the rumors are true—Princess Alice is obsessed with magic!""
Lucretia burst into laughter, covering her mouth.
"Oh, so the rumors are true. Princess Alice is obsessed with magic!"
Alice blinked, then realized—
Her face was way too close to Asahi's.
Her cheeks flushed, and she quickly sat back, clearing her throat.
"M-My apologies... I got excited."
Asahi chuckled, shaking his head. "It's okay. Sure, why not? But can I ask a question first?"
Alice composed herself, curiosity still dancing in her emerald eyes. "What is it?"
He met her gaze. "What is this 'Age of God magic' you're talking about?"
Princess Alice took a deep breath, collecting her thoughts before speaking. Her emerald eyes gleamed with excitement, the scholar in her fully awakened
"In magic, there is rank order to use: Low Class, Intermediate Class, High Class, and Transcendent Class magic.
{A/N: I will change the class of magic in the previous chapt..}
She paused, letting the weight of her words settle. "The term 'Age of Gods' magic refers to a time when magic was not just a tool, but a fundamental force interwoven with the divine. It is magic born from myths, tied directly to the power of the gods themselves. Unlike modern magecraft, which follows structured formulas and incantations, Age of Gods magic is instinctual, raw, and deeply connected to the world's spiritual foundation."
Asahi listened intently, absorbing her words.
He had a general idea of what she meant, but hearing it put so plainly made him realize how different his magic was from the norm.
Princess Alice continued, her voice steady but filled with reverence. "During the Age of Gods, the world was shaped by divine authorities, and magic was nothing like what it is today. Mages didn't just manipulate mana—they wove reality itself, drawing upon the myths and legends of deities. The very act of performing magic back then meant enforcing the will of the divine onto the world."
She took a small sip of tea before continuing. "However, when the Age of Gods faded and human civilization progressed, magic evolved into something more systematic. The chaotic, myth-warping magic of old was mysterious getting lost, considered too dangerous. That's why modern magic is categorized into structured disciplines, with careful restrictions and safeguards. The most commonly recognized are Elemental Magic, Spirit Magic, Ritual Magic, and Alchemy, lastly Charm and Hexes—each a diluted fragment of what once existed."
Asahi frowned slightly. "And what does that have to do with me?"
Princess Alice smiled knowingly. "Because your magic, Lord Asahi, does not follow modern principles. From what I've specalation, you use spatial magic type—what you call 'Dimensional Magic'—but the way you manipulate it is unnatural even by magical standards. You create stable mirror dimensions, fold space without incantations, and even distort the perception of reality itself. It is not modern magic, nor is it something not any magic library has recorded."
Lucretia, who had been quietly observing, smirked as she leaned back in her chair. "In other words, Asahi, Your power doesn't belong to this era."
Asahi startled knew what they were saying.
Naturally, you can't find this type of magic anywhere else. Dimensional magic was something he received from Grandpa God.
He considered it his magic cheat or his bloodline magic, and that's why no one else possessed it.
Alice's voice softened with intrigue. "Your [Dimensional Magic] is one of a million kinds Even I, have first encountered anything like it. That is why I wish to understand it."
Her eagerness was apparent, but she kept her distance this time, waiting for his response.
Asahi can show his magic to them without a problem, but Princess Alice and Lucretia-nee don't know if they can copy it.
However, there is another thought Asahi was considering.
If he possessed the Age of God magic, seeing Princess Alice's reaction, how would all the organizations see him in the battle regarding his magic?
Does that mean other organizations began to investigate what kind of magic he was using, and they realized how great he was.
Which mean
They will be eager to find out who he is?
This is bad...
He has to find a solution to this problem, his favorite casual life is getting danger....
Meanwhile, Tet knew his concern in the inner realm, and his emotions suddenly grinned, an idea forming instantly.
She leaned forward, mischief sparking in her eyes.
'Oh, I just had the most brilliant idea to your problem, Asahi....' Tet spoke in a cheerful tone as her timing is right.
'Oh, you got idea? Tell me What is it...' Asahi excitedly ask like he found some salvation.
"Here...." tet begun to explain the solution and suggestion how to do.
"Thank you, Tet. Your the best!"
Asahi listening to the Tet suggestion, chuckled, and began to reply to them, "Okay, I understand. Sure, I can show it to you. After all, I'm grateful that you guys saved me after the battle." Then, his gaze flickered to Lucretia. "As a witch, I'm sure you're curious too, right, Lucretia-nee?"
"...Oh, my. You sure knew me to well now.... isnt this effect of skin reunion in bathroom last night.. so the culture in japan is sure effective.." Lucretia teasingly Asahi of what happened
"S-s-skin reunion!!" Princess alice were quite fluttered hearing it.
"I-its nothing to do with that!" quickly replied of Asahi
{A/n: my bad guys I didn't mention to you guys, but the two were washing their back last night after introduce Amaterasu.}
"Fufu...I won't deny it. I'd love to know the secrets behind of that magic." Lucretia honestly replied.
"Then on one condition?" Asahi happily said.
"Condition?" 2x
His gaze turned sharp.
"Teach me magic."
