"Let's go up," Darian said dryly. A multicolored aura flowed around his body. He jumped, floating through the sky toward the upper heights, side by side with Lucy and Lucius.

Vanh and the other two moved as well. The people in the arena also rose into the air, but without getting too close — just enough to not miss anything from that match.

Camille turned to the executioners, ordering them to hold position. Then, she grabbed an artifact and sent a maximum alert message.

'Open everything in preparation. Also, send a lot of people to record everything. They must film it from completely different angles, so there's no doubt about the authenticity.'

Her orders were simple and direct, because Darian had already instructed her on several procedures in case of emergency. She trusted him completely and carried out everything beforehand.

In the sky — or more specifically, in the mesosphere — just over fifty kilometers above the arena, six figures faced each other from a distance.

Vanh looked down, feeling the countless eyes watching everything. They were so high that the three Emperors and other powerful people on Earth had also taken flight to watch.

"Fifteen minutes. We start counting from now." Darian's calm voice echoed, making Vanh look toward him.

None of the six moved.

They stared at each other for almost a full minute in silence, then Vanh looked at the two immortals at his side.

They exchanged glances. Then the large, strong man opened a wide grin. "I'm enough on my own."

He moved forward, speaking in an amused tone, "No need to tell me not to kill them. Arrogant brats are always fun to beat up, and I can leave them half-dead, right?"

Vanh sighed, but didn't deny it. He believed that Darian and the other two would know when to admit defeat; when they did, he'd stop everything immediately.

The big man stopped a few meters in front of the three, then placed his hands behind his back.

"Come together. I'll allow you to attack once. Since you're so confident, it'd be rude of me not to at least give you that."

Silence.

The three didn't answer or change their expressions. They just stared at that figure slowly, as if they were looking at the most ridiculous thing in the world.

He, noticing that look in their eyes, narrowed his own coldly.

"Don't waste my time! I'll give you one minute or—"

"Lucy, Lucius, he's yours." Darian cut him off, not caring at all.

Behind him, Vanh could only lament. They had no idea of the difference between someone with nine rings and an immortal.

The three had only recently become immortals and hadn't had time to learn how to use that new power perfectly. On top of that, their power was naturally unstable and chaotic until they absorbed or fused with an Immortal Chaos Essence. But even then, no one with nine rings — not even an army of a thousand — could dream of defeating them.

The twins moved forward side by side.

When they stopped, Lucius took out a long saber from his spatial ring. The moment that saber came out, Vanh's eyes changed completely.

A different glow flowed from that curved blade. It wasn't the conventional power of a weapon — it was the fluctuation emitted by a living being. That saber wasn't just a saber.

Darian nodded; that saber was Eldu. The same Heavenly Elemental Spirit who had taken care of Awel, Tir, and Eleri before Darian found them, and who had been turned into a saber.

A few days ago, when Darian paid a visit to the Academy in the other universe, Eldu had volunteered, saying he wanted to help with everything he had. Darian immediately remembered Lucius, who liked fighting with all kinds of weapons.

In no time, they had formed a good duo — and Lucius could draw out everything Eldu had to the limit.

As for Lucy, she simply smashed both gauntlets on her fists together, producing a loud metallic sound. At the center of her gauntlets, a pulsing rune seal lit up.

The big man scoffed coldly. His body pulsed with a golden light, and the space around him began to distort. Despite being arrogant, he wasn't stupid and had fought many battles. The moment he set eyes on the twins, he activated his blessing to avoid risks.

Space around the twins closed instantly.

It was as if they were trapped in a corridor, showing that only the enemy ahead of them existed now.

Darian and the twins narrowed their eyes, recognizing it. This was a relatively known tank-type blessing called *Slaughter Domain*.

It could affect one or more enemies, forcing them to attack only the tank. Any attack used to try avoiding him would be dragged toward him by the distortion. Escaping from inside was impossible unless the tank was killed first.

Meanwhile, the tank had an extreme advantage inside that domain. He could sense every minimal movement of his opponents even without seeing them. With enough training and practice, a tank could predict enemy movements and become untouchable.

Of course, activating the blessing wasn't simple — which was its main flaw and the reason few chose it.

The tank needed to get very close and then create an opening in himself for a few seconds when activating it, unable to defend. The targets could just run away or attack him with everything. So, a tank needed strategic support to use it effectively.

But... none of that happened here.

The big man simply waved his hand, and the twins, who were several meters away, were pulled inside instantly, with no chance to escape or react. That was an immortal's power.

The stronger a blessing was, the more restrictions it had. But with the raw power of an immortal, all restrictions could be removed.

Lucy and Lucius were initially surprised by that, but then...

...both gave subtle smiles.

"You really trapped us in here with you?" Lucius couldn't help speaking. "Excellent, that way Bro won't be disappointed."

As soon as he spoke, his eyes changed. An intense white light flowed, then lit up across his body like a living flame.

At the same time, beside him, a dark light flared around Lucy. Their blessing was activated to the maximum together.

At the beginning, their blessing depended heavily on purpose and the opponents they faced. In matches and small situations like these, their blessing had a very low effect. But as the two gained new rings and learned more about their powers, they found methods to raise the blessing's power by force.

The white and black light from the two of them touched. A gray tone appeared from that mix. Then...

"!"

Like an explosion, the whole tank's domain was instantly taken over by the grayish light.

Darian, Vanh, and the other immortal could see everything inside the domain perfectly. And even with the intense gray light, the interior *should* be fully visible. But...

They only saw that robust man.

Even with Vanh pushing his senses to the limit… he still could only feel that lone immortal, nothing else.

Lucy and Lucius had vanished.

Darian nodded, satisfied. That was something Lucy had used before at his side during the array fight, but using his black power as the base. But this was created by the twins to be used together.

They called this technique *Ash Abyss*, something they created to defeat enemies way stronger than the two of them together.

After trapping the enemy inside, both would merge with the light, disappearing completely from the senses and attacking like totally unpredictable ghosts.

Both used powerful weapons with runic seals, turning them into unstoppable assassins that couldn't be escaped from.

And also...

**BOOOOM!**

The robust man roared and threw a punch forward. An explosion echoed like a celestial thunder. Everyone on the planet heard it, making animals tremble in fear. Fortunately, no powerful fluctuation came out.

Inside the domain, that man had a twisted expression. Two shadows attacked the tank from opposite directions.

He punched again with everything he had, but just like the attack before, after "hitting" the target, it simply evaporated. It was like… like it didn't have a physical body.

*Slash!*

A saber cut came from his blind spot.

The robust man turned abruptly by pure reflex, dodging skillfully. But from behind, a fist struck him violently.

*BANG!*

He felt the impact, but wasn't shaken, much less injured. He spun, kicking…

Then two shadows appeared again, attacking with two very sharp blades from opposite sides.

The robust man widened his eyes, reacting fast and stepping back to retreat. It wasn't something he thought about — it was just instinct making him back off; which resulted in an opening.

Unfortunately for him, a saber slashed again in that opening — but this time, with the sharpening runic seal active.

**SLASH!!**

A sharp and terrifying sound could be heard all over Earth.

Inside the domain, a lot of blood spilled in every direction.

Vanh and the other immortal had their eyes wide open — only now noticing something surprising.

It wasn't two opponents. It was four.

Lucy and Lucius had their Shadow Heroes, and that had been known by everyone for a long time.

Inside the Ash Abyss, the two Shadow Heroes could attack freely, holding the frontline. And even if the enemy was an immortal capable of obliterating everything in front of them… they didn't have bodies or anything physical to destroy.

Their physical forms were made with the power from their partners' rings. They were destroyed, and in the next second, Lucy or Lucius would give them more power to create another body.

At the same time, the twins waited or helped create an opening in the enemy. And to top it all off, no matter what enemy they faced…

The runic seals on their weapons were things created by the God of Forge.

The capability of those seals transcended the power levels of the world. It was almost like a blessing — actually, each runic seal was a different type of blessing. The most used runic seal was the sharpening one; once activated for an attack, it completely ignored the target's defenses.

If that immortal also had an immortal body, maybe he could've done something. But unfortunately, Spiritual Guardians who reached immortality only did so in their soul — which was a huge weakness in their overall power.

Because of all that, Lucius's saber brutally cut the chest of the robust man, making blood spill everywhere. It was deep, but definitely wouldn't end there.

In the middle of the shock…

"Five minutes have passed already."

Darian's voice echoed in the ears of Vanh and the other immortal, making them turn toward him.

"Are you two just gonna watch the time run out?" Darian smiled lightly and waved at them.

"Come... both of you can attack me together. Since you acted with so much confidence earlier, it'd be very rude of me not to at least allow you that. I'll handle both of you alone."
