Damned Healer-Chapter 537: Crazy Dream
Nothing was left inside that Tribe anymore. So everyone went back to the Rare Earth Tribe. But, different from what one would expect, everyone was euphoric, even after so many deaths.
The Tribe Leader didn't explain anything to Darian until they returned. There, he was taken to a meeting in the central building, with that white-eyed elder and the Tribe Leader.
"What the hell are those runes that went into me?" Darian asked harshly.
That white-eyed elder bowed, "They're the mark of the Golem God. According to the divine words left throughout the generations, all 63 will one day unite when the new Golem King arrives."
Darian snorted, "What else was said about that?"
"The Golem King has the potential to lead all Golems to ultimate glory. With his power, he'll be able to control the entire Golem God Temple, becoming its manifestation in the physical world."
Darian replied seriously after thinking for a moment, "If I manage to gather all of them, there won't be any doubt, right? Do all the tribes accept me?"
"Yes, my Lord. All Golems, from every existing universe, are born already knowing they're protected by the Golem God. We're completely loyal to him and to his words; we'll never betray the hand that protects us." The elder and the Tribe Leader knelt, deeply moved.
"Stand up... this is a huge responsibility you're throwing on my back. As you just saw, I couldn't do anything for that tribe." Darian said melancholically.
"But... I'll avenge them. Actually, my goal in coming to this planet was to wipe out all those idiots. None of them will leave alive. But for that, I'd need your help. To be honest, I searched day and night for a Golem until I found that couple. I literally dug my way into this tribe hoping to get your help..."
"This is destiny, my Lord..." the Tribe Leader said excitedly.
Darian nodded; it really felt like everything was pushing him toward joining these Golems. "Alright, first, just call me by my name. Second, we don't have much free time; take me to the other two altars."
They nodded, guiding him to that Tribe's Altar. The leader quickly activated the marks and, as expected, they moved toward Darian and entered his Dantian.
But this time, he noticed the runes connecting. Obviously, the other 21 were still missing, but they were already showing signs of forming something much bigger.
"I already sent a call to the Stonebound Tribe Leader. He should be on his way, my Lord." the Tribe Leader said quickly.
Darian nodded, and his three partners walked out. "Awel, start preparing."
"Yes, Master."
She spoke quickly, pulling those two to an isolated area of the Tribe. She already knew everything, so she called some Golems to help.
At the same time, Darian took an artifact from his inventory. Through it, he sent messages.
"Tribe Leader, I summoned my allies. Please receive them." Darian said. "Once we confirm everything, I also want you to gather every Golem on the planet here in this Tribe."
He nodded, sending people outside to wait for Darian's allies to arrive in that region.
In a few minutes, the Stonebound Tribe Leader arrived. He stared at Darian, eyes wide; without hesitation, he nodded and revealed his 21 marks of the Golem God.
Darian stepped forward...
*Buzz!*
They seemed to be pulled toward him by an immense force. Darian only felt a jolt, then a vibration spread through the entire Tribe.
Everything stabilized quickly. Darian focused on his Dantian; there, he felt a great change, leaving him curious and confused.
"My Lord! Now the Heart of Gaia is in your hands!"
The Tribe Leader roared, and all the Golems of the tribe were kneeling around him.
Darian snorted, "Does this have any connection with your secret technique?"
"Yes!" the Tribe Leader said excitedly. "Our technique is called *Hero of Gaia*. Only those of us who are born with a divine-level Earth Heart can use it. But now, with the Heart of Gaia, the technique will be able to unleash its full power in your hands."
Darian became thoughtful, "This divine-level Earth Heart you mentioned... does it have any connection with the help I gave Thulon earlier?"
The white-eyed elder replied, "There are four levels: Mortal, Divine, Immortal, and Calamity. All Golems from other universes are born with a Mortal-level Earth Heart. But thanks to the power of the Temple's Life Tribulation, we're all born at the level above, the Divine."
Darian nodded; that explained why the Golem he found earlier felt so different from these. He didn't have the protection of Heaven's Will, and both his power and intelligence seemed just average.
The white-eyed elder continued in a moved tone, "But we also receive, each generation, two blessings from the Golem God. We always have a Herald, as well as a Sovereign of the Golem God."
"I'm the Herald of this generation, my job is to hear and spread our god's words to the race. As for the Sovereign... he's a figure born with an Immortal-level Earth Heart, above everyone; with fighting power strong enough to protect the race from destruction."
"Young Thulon is this generation's Sovereign. If he hadn't managed to awaken his power in time, before becoming an adult, another wouldn't be born again in this generation. That way, we'd lose an entire generation without his power; possibly the whole race would be doomed."
Darian sighed. That explains their desperation, and then their excitement when Thulon awakened. That kid was already born carrying a huge weight. And those Golems... they hindered him more than they helped.
"Great, we've got a bit over five days. I need to prepare properly, and I've got some very specific plans for all of you." Darian said pragmatically.
He turned and saw Thulon in a corner, surrounded by all the kneeling Golems. His eyes shone toward Darian.
"Come here, we need to test some things."
Darian brought him to where Eleri, Tir, and Awel were.
Tir created, in a more distant area inside the tribe, a large region of black soil.
All the Golems followed Darian. When they saw that, their bodies froze in shock. When Tir created it before, the attack on that tribe had begun, and no one had time to spread the news or properly examine it.
"I heard this soil looks like the same one you're all born from. Its power creates a high-level Earth Heart in everyone, so it might be possible to use the same thing to improve what you already have. Or give other benefits."
Darian spoke quickly, then turned to Eleri.
She nodded and handed him a vial filled with liquid.
"Absorb this. It's been proven to help you rise in realm. Then try to connect with this soil, and let's see what happens."
Thulon grabbed the vial and took a deep breath. He didn't hesitate even for a second and moved to the center of the black soil.
First, he opened the vial and absorbed the liquid. His body pulsed with a pure light, leaving everyone stunned.
Then, he placed one hand on his chest and the other on the soil, closing his eyes.
*Thump! Thump!*
A sound of powerful heartbeats echoed.
Everyone felt the power of a fully awakened Sovereign coming from Thulon.
Minutes passed; the sound of powerful beats kept echoing. But with every beat, an even greater force flowed through him. Meanwhile, the black soil was clearly growing thinner in energy.
Everyone was catatonic, unable to process what was happening.
Darian took a deep breath, excited.
"All Golems from both tribes need to gather here. This entire area of the Tribe will be used and replaced by the soil; you all will take one vial, and focus on doing the same thing Thulon is doing."
He turned to Awel, "This little girl is my right hand. She knows everything, and she's the one who'll organize and prepare you for the big day. As for me, I won't have time for that. I need to evaluate this new power and study your technique."
Darian gave his orders firmly; everyone nodded immediately.
Without hesitating, Darian was taken to a central house and received all the knowledge of the Golems' secret technique. He couldn't be more excited, and dedicated all the few days to that.
A large group of almost two hundred Spiritual Guardians was also brought to the tribe. They were the people sent by Aurix, Caliris, and Painita to this planet. Awel already knew them and made them help with the Golems' training.
Two days later, all Golems below the ninth level of the Celestial realm managed to advance easily thanks to the sacred water. Not just once; all of them reached at least the eighth level, with most, even without great talent, reaching the ninth.
But the main thing... Tir's black soil was terrifyingly good for Golems. And, in fact, after connecting with the soil, all of them felt their Earth Hearts slowly changing and improving.
Unfortunately, this improvement was very slow. There wouldn't be enough time before the temple opened. But in the future, they all felt they could reach the Immortal level. That was like a crazy dream for all of them.
As for Thulon... if he managed it too, he'd reach power never seen before. Everyone trembled imagining him actually reaching the Calamity level.

Days passed.
Then, Darian opened his eyes. A green-emerald light flowed through them.
"It's time."
