Damned Healer-Chapter 661: Convergence
After Darian returned, he started running a few tests. Tir, Eleri, and Awel entered the inventory without any issues. Ailik began manipulating the place and expanding it as much as possible. ๐๐ณ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ฃ๐ฏโด๐ฃ๐ฆ๐.๐ค๐๐
In just a few hours, she reached the limit, and the spiritual inventory was already five times larger than the ring Darian used. It was about the size of Earth's moon, and in the future, there was the possibility of it growing even more.
By manipulating the laws of that small world, Ailik managed to create the five natural elements corrupted by the Void, something her race specialized in. Very quickly, she created soil and a light source, turning that place into a home a thousand times more comfortable than the inventory ring.
Tir, Eleri, and Awel were very happy; now they no longer had to stay trapped in a dark place, as if they were floating in the void.
Eleri asked excitedly, "Master, can't we bring some of our brothers to live here with us?"
Darian didn't know how to respond. Technically, any Heavenly Elemental Spirit could enter and stay there normally. But that was still a very simple imitation of a real place. Why would he choose to put people there instead of letting them live in the real world?
"Wait, that's a good idea!" Awel suddenly exclaimed.
Darian was confused. Then Awel left the inventory and explained her idea.
Basically, since that place had a copy of the laws of this universe and also possessed its energiesโฆ what if Darian moved into the inventory the Runes that had been created before using the power of Lightning and Fire Annihilation?
Darian had absorbed that into Celestial Annihilation; afterward, Meru created two runes and handed them to him. Their power was absolutely pure and contained the essence of life, something that only naturally appeared at the beginning of planets, to help Gaia create everything.
Darian had used that once or twice in the past, but its power wasn't enough to deal with figures at the immortal level. So he ended up setting it aside, and in the future, it would be even less useful.
"Nether Spirits are born naturally when a pure element accumulates and then becomes corrupted, right?" Awel asked, her eyes shining.
Darian nodded, thoughtful.
"Master." Suddenly, Ailik's voice sounded, and she and Tir came out of the inventory, appearing in front of him.
Ailik was using a metamorphosis, just like the three of them. It was something very easy to learn.
"Weโฆ I think we can create something with that," Tir said with a serious look, firmly holding Ailik's hand.
Darian was a bit taken aback by those words. He was clearly talking about children.
But they had known each other for almost ten years, even though they had officially been together for only two. It wasn't really rushed or too fast.
Darian looked into both of their eyes and said calmly, "You don't need to force yourselves into anything. For me, it doesn't make any difference at all, and it might even be better if Ailik focuses only on learning about the place. But if you really want this, you can try."
Awel smiled lightly.
Of course, the way Nether Spirits produced children was completely different from how physical races did it. They only exchanged energies with minimal physical contact, just by holding hands. So having his two sisters nearby wasn't a big issue at all.
"Tir and I want to try. Besides, I'm sure this will bring many benefits to the master, unrelated to the original goal," Ailik said confidently. "First, I'll need to develop a new type of physical body, and I feel this can be done by using Nether and Void together. In the process, I might even manage to create a kind of cultivation, using both powers."
Hearing that, Darian's eyes changed.
The Spiritual Inventory was a copy of this universe's laws and also possessed its energies. So it had all the ingredients needed for cultivation.
Of course, it didn't generate enough power inside for people to cultivate. But in the future, Alear could open the channel for them to return to this universe, allowing them to cultivate using the power that existed there.
"Yes!" Awel said excitedly. "We can create a physical body with this technique and leave it inside the inventory. When we go fight on our own, we'll use that body. If we manage to nurture it enough, we can be even more useful."
Darian nodded, also excited.
The three of them could fight using metamorphosis, but having a physical body with some form of cultivation and extra energies would mean they wouldn't need to burn their core powers just to maintain their physical form.
For their race, using metamorphosis was essential, since the runes that were their true bodies were very fragile. They needed a physical form with some durability, or they could die very easily.
Metamorphosis, on the other hand, was a semi-solid body, very simple and easy to create, made using some form of energy. If they already had something prepared and powerful stored away, they would fight far better and with much more power.
In fact, Ailik and Tir managing to create new forms of life together was just a side effect. But the learning required to reach that point would bring many useful things along the way.

Six months passed calmly.
Darian was already quite worried, because Alear still hadn't returned. Even so, he could feel that she was alive, although she was having some trouble conquering the Immortal Chaos Essence.
Darian was currently in the Primordial Empire, inside a large private hall. He watched as Awel and Eleri tested the first version of the technique created by Ailik, which was named the *Convergence Body*.
The two of them created a version identical to their metamorphoses; then they went out and began using the two powers that existed in greater quantity in the universe to stabilize themselves.
Ailik and Tir only watched anxiously from inside the inventory.
After an hour, the two opened their eyes and stood up. At the same time, they ran over to Darian and received their items from him.
In the Primordial Empire, there existed six primitive equipments, considered the most powerful things in the universe below the Sacred Treasures. All six were made using the two primitive beast races that had gone extinct: the Gale-Enduring Heron and the Glacier-Piercing Egret.
The bodies of the most powerful figures of those two races were preserved by the Empire, and over the years, everything from them was refined to create the six items.
The Feather Dress and the Bone Whip that Melva used were the two most powerful of all; because of that, she was the top candidate to become the next leader of the Empire. Her talent was truly terrifying.
An important detail was that both races were Yin-oriented beasts. Because of that, they were extremely incompatible with men. So the six pieces of equipment were created for women: two feather dresses, two weapons, and two accessories.
Rarely did anyone throughout history manage to use them, and even then, they couldn't use even 10% of their power. In this generation and the previous one of the Empire, only Melva managed to use two; the other four were kept stored away.
But now, these six pieces of equipment have found perfect owners. Awel and Eleri could extract more than 100% from them and could even nourish them with their own energies, which was the most nutritious thing in the world for them.
Quickly, they got dressed.
Awel wore the same feather dress as before, and also a bone-white hair cuff. Hidden within the feathers of the dress, she had ten small blades made from the central feathers of the beast, as hard and sharp as flying daggers.
Eleri held her bone whip, but now also wore a beautiful bluish feather dress and had a white hair bow.
The two radiated a magnificent aura and looked at Darian with eyes full of expectation. Darian knew that look. He sighed, then subtly praised the two of them.
With satisfied smiles on their faces, both ran to the center of the hall. Then, they activated everything they had.
They attacked each other, testing the limits of the Convergence Body, to see if it was stable enough to withstand all of their power.
After hundreds of exchanges, their bodies began to turn ethereal, almost dissolving.
They hurriedly stopped.
Awel took a deep breath. After a few seconds, she turned to Eleri, who nodded with a smile. The two managed to force the body to stop and not dissolve.
Awel, with an excited look, turned to Darian. "Master, it's not perfect, but it's already much better than just using metamorphosis. We can fight for a while and then return to the inventory to stabilize, without losing the body. If we manage to cultivate it, we won't lose our progress."
Darian nodded in satisfaction. The technique Ailik had created was still just a prototype, but it already had a solid foundation. Now, it only needed to be refined little by little.
After everything was done, Darian left the hall. He thought about going to visit Ramel to ask for more knowledge about the two primitive beasts, which could help Awel and Eleri.
When Darian took a few steps outside the buildingโฆ
**BOOOM!**
Suddenly, a violent explosion echoed through the skies.
Darian's eyes widened as he looked up. The entire horizon was dark and shattered, as if it were made of glass. The power of the Void had become distorted and violent.
Thenโฆ
"Alear!"
Darian roared in shock. In that instant, he activated his primordial physique and shot into the skies, not thinking about anything else.
He had burned through his strength in the previous battle, but when the Wood Spirits returned from the Golden Sky Mountain, they helped Darian and Niara quickly recover their strength.
Everyone in the universe looked up at the skies in fear. Then, they saw a multicolored star pierce the firmament.
**RUMBLE!!**
Darian charged upward, destroying the void in front of him and pushing forward.
He shot at extreme speed toward the center of the universe, where Alear should be.
'Master!' Ailik spoke, and Darian activated his spiritual root.
She used all the accumulated power; the two worked together, and then Darian tore through space-time, disappearing.
In the next second, he saw a figure covered in blood floating in the void, being attacked from all directions by the power of the universe itself.
Alear had a twisted expression and was fighting in clear desperation to survive. Apparently, she had failed, and the very laws of the universe were retaliating against her attempt, wanting to kill her at all costs now.
"FUCK! HOW DARE YOU!"
Darian roared, his eyes emitting deep hatred. She was already weak and out of strength; this was a cowardly attack against someone who could barely defend herself.
